• ChristopherB3232 (10/5): Great hotel absolutely fantastic - A fantastic little hotel rooms have theme names with characters from the popular to series the rooms are clean and comfortable and reasonably priced to micowave and fridge included in rooms basically a lovely hotel staff are also very friendly what more could you ask for such a fantastic place to stay for a short break
• mariosg465 (2/5): NOT - I was really considering sleeping outside with the seagulls than sleeping in this hotel. smelly rooms, unsafe area, dirty beds and the lights were off and on like thriller movie. this hotel really needs an update to everything. would never visit again

Cracks in ceiling, pulled back too bed sheet to find another bed sheet with poo smeared! Wee stains.. holes in curtains, cat paw print yellow marks on bunk bed, was vile never coming back.. didn’t get no sleep what so ever and staff barely around just gave us key and that was it didn’t see or hear from them after.. not safe for a family..

• johnhW4103WT (2/5): AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE! - My wife and I stayed at Fawlty Towers a few years ago now. We were both astonished at how filthy our room (Number 1^) was. The windows were filthy, as were the window sills and window frames. The room was thick of dust. The shower was disgusting with hair all over the floor. The worst thing of all was that we found bugs in the bed! This proves that they didn't change the bedding before we arrived. I did report the establishment to Great Yarmouth Council but they were only concerned about the kitchen and what condition that was in.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Pleasantly surprised! - I didn’t have high expectations having read some reviews and was drawn by the novelty of the name, and it being minutes from my main destination, as well as the seafront. However, I had a great one night stay. Beforehand, I asked if I could leave my bike my room, as I was visiting for a triathlon. No problem at all, and most accommodating and even gave me a downstairs room to make it easier leaving very early next morning. I arrived a couple of hours before my official check in time, but was given the key to the room no problem. Yes, the décor was a bit dated, but my room was clean, tidy and well-stocked, including with fridge and microwave. Others have talked about noise – if there was any, it certainly didn’t wake me up. and I had the window open. Pleasantly surprised, and I’d happily stay again.
• Helaine (2/5): A sleepless night in not-so-Great Yarmouth - We arrived & my friend went into Fawlty Towers & was appalled at state of kitchen & asked to use w.c & If she hadn’t been desperate would have changed her mind as it was dirty & smelly. She was told our room had a leak & was out of use so they (Patricia?) would arrange alternative accommodation. When we arrived later at the Villa Rose we were dismayed to find we had a double room & not a twin room as we had booked. We called Fawlty Towers who said there was nothing else available & abruptly put the phone down on us. We are both in our mid 70’s & each have health conditions that give us disturbed sleep. Can you imagine us both trying to get to sleep whilst sharing a bed! Sleep was impossible.
• chris (8/5): - it was overall okay land lady let me bune motobikes in front garden to take them of main road hotel very dated room and bending was clean other than a coffie cup with a used teabag in it didnt have breakfastas wasnt started when we had to leave
• Neil (2/5): Never again - We checked in and immediately and walked out. Found somewhere else to stay. We have a disabled son and using there stairs he would struggle. Customer service was a dismal didn't say anything about an breakfast.

The location is ideal for cinema/arcades /various eating places all within nice walking distance . The drawer/cupboards could gave been cleaner in corners . Room was adequate but the bedding comfort quality could have been much better was poor in my opinion for that room .

• Rob (6/5): Not as bad as ive read in reviews,but needs work.. - The hotel over all needs a lot of work,out front needs a good clean up as rather messy and old, room was warm enough but tv hardly worked, hole in bathroom ceiling, and lots of noise from outside at night, only had breakfast one morning as went elsewhere other days, but it was pretty standard, the colour changing lights in the room were fun, but beds were rather hard and top bunk rail was loose,with a lot of diy it could be way better,however its in a great location right next to shops,the beach,and amusements, not as bad as i read in reviews but needs a lot doing
• justinlT2356PP (6/5): Faulty Towers Hotel Great Yarmouth.. - After looking at reviews after booking I stressed. I booked here at last moment as this place was only one that had vacancy for my dates. What can I say I was in room 10. To be honest well needs abit of love and care however it was spacious front facing to single beds very spacious bath room and clean. But will admit the entrance and carpets need replacing. Microwave and mini fridge in room. Very quite so to be honest for 50.00 pounds for a twin room what more can you ask for....

• HZnathalie (10/5): Much nicer that expected! - I really wanted to give a good review to this little charming low cost hotel because we were so hesitant to book due to low reviews. My friend and I ended up so pleasently surprised! Ok we are not picky but it is half price compared to hotels next door. Great location. Funky kitch almost cheesy deco and lovely staff. They also offer a cheap and good breakfast if you want. We really enjoyed our short stay there. So if you want a cheap place to stay don't be put off of by the reviews
• Mary (2/5): Worse place in Yarmouth - I went to Yarmouth for a little get away for 4 night with my partner, after reading several bad reviews we kinda half expected the worst. We turned up at this disgusting location for us to be greeted with ‘what do you want’ so from our first Impressions we already knew it wasn’t gonna be a good experience. We went into our room for it to look vile and smell like weed. The hand sanitiser things were constantly empty which I didn’t like and no one wore masks after stating that even tho masks are voluntary everyone is required to still wear their masks. They kept coming into our room without our permission and on our last night we returned back to our room after a lovely time in the city for our bathroom to absolutely stink of fried chicken, it was like someone went into our room and sat on the toilet eating a takeaway. Constantly made us feel uneasy and all this lady cared about was the money, she never ever said Goodmorning to us, it was always ‘don’t forget to pay on your last day’. They also stated very clearly that they only accept card payment only so she made me walk 15 mins to the next cash point machine. Most people wouldn’t just left and not paid if they got told that and not ever we went out of our way to get cash out with all of our belongings we didn’t even get a Thankyou. DO NOT STAY HERE! Don’t make the same mistake we did.
• Ang_Reeder (10/5): Great b&b, top location, fab hosts & 5* breakfast. - Cheap 'n cheerful b&b. Hosts were so friendly...nothing was too much trouble. The location is spot on...only yards from the seafront. My room was clean and the bed was so comfy. I've already booked another week for September.

• Nancy (10/5): Cute room, will stay again - Due to the low price and other guests' negative reviews, we expected the worst and were very pleasantly surprised. Clean and cozy. Kids liked the unique lemur wallpaper. The property could use some updating but I wouldn't v want to stay at an updated property that was more expensive. Also we had a view of the pier and ocean from our room.
• Z9811VOjoannep (2/5): Do not stay at this hotel - Me and my partner stayed here this weekend on arrival I was abruptly greeted, was then told I needed to pay for a car permit as they didn't have any left. Which I had to walk about 1/2 mile to go get this. Once we got into the room I cried it was fithty, smelled, stained everywhere, fan about dropping off ceiling, holes in ceiling, ceiling hanging down in bathroom, we looked for somewhere else to stay however could find anywhere if it hadn't of took up 5and 1/2 hours travel there we would of come straight back home
• Hannah (2/5): - Never saw any staff (got keys from key safe)room dirty with worn out damaged furniture and bedding. Mould all over shower tiles. Springs sticking out on all mattress. Didnt get any breakfast, dining room used as storage. Dirty windows. Very disappointed.
• tramtraveller1622 (2/5): A disgrace to the Hotel/ B&B industry! - Unfortunately there isn’t a star rating low enough for this monstrosity of a b&b. It was unfortunate at the time of the booking, this was the only place that could accommodate 4 adults and 1 child over 2 rooms. Luckily after checking in...we found a place in Winterton-on-sea which I’ve given 5 stars and will going back too. Please read the reviews DO NOT BOOK HERE! Let’s start from the beginning, I’ve worked in the hotel Industry, and for some top class hotel brands too. There are very clearly do’s and don’ts. It’s very clear this place follows the donts! - as a hotelier, you should NEVER answer the door with ‘What do you want?’ Rude abrupt staff, dressed like they’ve walked through a bush. The decor outside is dreadful. Bright yellow paint screams problems inside...and dawm bloody right they do. To proclaim you wasn’t doing breakfast because of ‘Covid’. I admit it was just as we thought things was getting back to normal...but I’ve stayed in hotels elsewhere with smaller dining rooms than yours and they still managed. The bedroom doors are unsafe. If I had of stayed the wardrobe would of been against it for my own protection. I wouldn’t of want to have moved it knowing that behind it has probably never been cleaned. Having a family room with BARE WIRES showing, a loose bunk bed, dirty carpets, walls, windows...just everything was dirty and stunk vile of cigarettes. It’s a death trap. You should be closed down! You are not fit to operate a hotel and the worst thing about it is we paid up front £400 for 3 nights with booking.com and you haven’t even got the decency to refund it when we didn’t stay! That’s outrageously low and selfish! You should be disgusted. I was when I used your bedroom toilet and you couldn’t even provide toilet paper. I would NEVER recommend your hotel to anyone. Not even to someone I hate. You’ve dodged the Great Yarmouth tourist board and local councils investigation into my complaint and yet you still believe how your operating is suitable. Disgusting. DO NOT STAY. DO NOT BOOK.
• LauraAJDews (2/5): Don't stay here - No one answer door for long time had go looking for the staff. We ask for family room which we got but was told there was a travel cot, there wasn't. We were on 1sr floor so drag the pram up the stairs for our baby to sleep in. The room was dirty, hot and outdated. The ceiling fan was barely staying on. There was holes in the ceiling, walls are paper thin so was disturb most of night due to people in next room having tv on to early hours of morning. There was meant to be breakfast, got down at 8am for this, breakfast room locked up! Place stunk of cigarette and weed. We had walk through back to get to car and walk past where staff live and was hit with smell of weed. DON'T STAY HERE, THIS IS A HOTEL FROM HELL
• Verified traveler (4/5): Poor. Should've listened to previous reviews. - The hotel had a dog like dirty smell and the beds were very uncomfortable. The WiFi didn't work at all despite being advertised everywhere and only 2 channels out of about 100 received a signal on the Freeview built into your room TV despite re-tuning. The hotel is in a very rough area, groups of hooded youths were always within close proximity in a neighboring street and could be seen and heard acting aggressively and throwing/breaking things. We were also hassled for cigarettes by random dodgy people roaming the streets outside the hotel at 3am and witnessed a full blown fight at half past 4.
• Claire (10/5): - After reading several bad reviews on Fawlty Towers we were extremely pleased with our room. It was lovely and clean and our kids thought the microwave and mini fridge were excellent. The staff were really friendly & the room was just what we needed for our one night. Quirky, cute little hotel, perfect for a break Away from home! If I had to find something to say, I’d suggest different bath mats & maybe a couple Of cups in the bathroom for water? Thanks for a lovely stay 😛
• Jessiejones2002 (2/5): Appalled !!!! - To start when we arrived the man was rude to us at the front door. We then entered a Tatty room that stank of fags, we was left waiting there for at least 20 minutes. Finally we was told that they had double booked and that we would have to go down the road to another hotel that they had booked for us. Once we arrived we were told they did not agree to this and no booking had been made. After calling Fawlty towers back they then told us they had booked us an premier inn which was 10 minutes away. Once we arrived we was told they had not reserved a room and that we would have to pay for it. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, RUDE STAFF, DIRTY HOTEL AND AN OVERALL BAD EXPERIENCE. NEVER AGAIN !!!!
• 33skyee (2/5): Double booked - Please don’t book here no matter on how cheap it is! I turnt up after a 3 hour drive and they had double booked as the other gentleman was supposed to have came the next day so they should of sent him away not us. They then booked to another hotel which didn’t accept us as they closed check in at 8pm and we then had to travel to another hotel which had troubles again.

• 302Sunshine (2/5): Faulty Towers Should be Condemned! - Worst experience ever. Do Not Book at any cost. The whole place stank of fags & weed! Rock burns on the bedding. Windows so Filthy you couldn't see out of, not to mention the filthy dirty piece of net curtain & the main curtains that were hanging on a thread that looked like they had been attacked & eaten by giant moths. The beds extremely tired & old, the carpet stuck to your feet as you walked bare footed. The furniture broken unfit for purpose. The T.V was waste of time, no signal constantly, same for WI FI, non existent! Ceiling looked like it was gonna give way. Fan looked like it was about to fall off the ceiling only 1 light in fixture, no light covering in Bathroom, & it looked like it should have been condemned! Pure & utter filth! As for the Fridge mentioned on the website ad, dont go there! It looked like it hadnt been cleaned for ever! The door surround was a shade of yellow & black, the stench of tobacco & filthy dirty. My friend & i booked for 3 nights & lasted only 2, thats because we couldnt bare staying here any longer. To boot were covered in flea bites! On leaving we met another guest who had booked for 1 night with wife & 2 small children, they also were covered in flea bites. GOD KNOWS HOW THIS BED BREAKFAST IS STILL UP & RUNNING, DO NOT WAST YOUR PRECIOUS TIME, ENERGY, OR MONEY BOOKING THIS B & B. TODAY I AM CONTACTING THE ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH.
• dylanaman (4/5): The worst hotel/guest house I've ever stayed in. - We stayed in the fawlty towers for two nights to extend our holiday slightly and were disgusted to see the state of the place. When we arrived the outside of the building is bright yellow which is extremely off putting, I know this dosent effect the quality but it still dosent look appealing. In all fairness to the place, the location is very good. It is situated a very short walk away from the main promenade which means it is perfect for summer holiday guests. The inside however is not as good. The entrance feels cramped and unwelcoming, the carpets are very dated and the picture frames are caked in dust. The doors to the bedrooms are not of consistent sizes which just looks unprofessional. The doors also feel very unsecure with tatty locks. We had two rooms which both had very dated furniture. In one of the rooms the ceiling fan/lights were not attached correctly so looked as if they were about to fall off! In the double room we had it was located on the top floor which you could hear other guests in the hotel/next door snoring etc which I know the owners can not control but just shows how paper thin the walls are. There was also human mucas left on the bedding and a hair left in the toilet which were not very appealing. The fridge in one of the rooms was completely broken and leaking alot of water which is an accident waiting to happen. Overall it is not a nice place to stay and I would strongly advise against staying here unless you are extremly desperate or have very low standards.
• carlosrX4430XB (8/5): Short stay - We stayed here whilst visiting Yarmouth. Amazing value, great location and very accommodating to our request for an early breakfast. The price was more than fair for the accommodation. Location superb.
• colinmalone (2/5): Worst place We have ever gone to - My advice to people who are thinking about going to Fawlty towers is don't go, we arrived after a long drive down and were disgusted at the place, the room was not clean the toilet was dirty the shower I would not use , we left and found somewhere else, we reported it to the tourist board and have since found the two star it advertisers they should not because according to the authorities they don't have. So my advice is don't go, you have been warned .

• robhotspur (6/5): short break - we wasnt expecting much as we checked reviews, but we gave it a shot as was on a short budget break. the room was dated and a bit shabby not normally what were used to however it was clean we had everything we needed including fridge. the kids enjoyed it the people were very friendly and the breakfast was very good, cereal yoghurt ornage juice tea/coffee and full english the whole works which they did for £10 whole family 1st day, 2nd day free. the situation of fawlty towers is only a stones throw from beach and main drag. all in all a very nice 2 days, sure tge room could have been up to date but you get what you pay for and we treated it as somewhere just to get a kip. would recommend for a cheap 2 day trip but if longer youl probably want to spend a bit more.
• H8509VKkellya (10/5): Great time great stay - We was given the family room which had many beds and plenty of space . The owners was very normal and homely .. nothing was too much effort for them . We swapped our stay around a few times and the owners helped us . We arrived late and was greeted by a lovely lady. Breakfast was lovely ... toast cereal and fresh juice/tea/coffee. Made very welcome by all there and will be booking again soon . We didn't care how the hotel looked because we went to see great yarmouth . Had the best family time making lasting memories and cant wait til next time . Thanks so much to faulty towers and their staff ❤
