- Carol (8/5): Pleasantly surprised. - I admit I was concered about this reservation but I was actually pleasantly surprised at the room. While you could tell it is an older property, the flooring and some of the furnishings were updated and everything was clean. Except maybe the shower curtain which I reported to management. As well as the fact that the blow dryer didn't work. Otherwise it was a good location and price for our overnight stay.
- Evan (2/5): Questionable At Best - Room was dirty. Doorframe from the latch to the slide lock was broken. It was obvious the door had been kicked in. It smelled HEAVILY of cigarettes. The TV had no service. Overall: horrible experience.
- Keith (8/5): Surprisingly pleasant experience. - On a date when every other inn in the area was charging $250 for the night The Whitesboro Inn was a very reasonable rate. Our expectations were not very high. This was a mercy trip, delivering the remain of a Vietnam era veteran to his family after three decades of family separation. The staff was pleasant, helpful, and exceedingly polite. The Inn is in the process of being completely refurbished after years of obvious neglect. While the decor and furnishings are very dated the room was very clean, comfortable, and functional. I recommend it and wish the new owners great success in their enterprise.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Never Again - I liked the location of this Motel, close to friends, and amenities. The outside looked nice from the road. However, it was extremely dated, with old school look, feel, and smell inside the room. Dirty walls, old dirty furniture, outdated shower and toilet. No real pictures on the wall, old ratty gold/brown window curtains.

- Clark (10/5): - The only issue was the pool was being cleaned and was not in use. Very friendly staff, clean room, bed was GREAT! I have back and leg issues, the pillows and bed were very comfortable I slept well! I will stay here again.

AC was noisy to where it was hard to sleep than a few hours later the AC started to smell like it was burning up so the remainder of the night we had no AC. The bath tub was so nasty I did not want to shower. I would rate this place maybe a 1 star
- Bobby (4/5): - Sofa has a tear on the cushion corner. Both sofa & chair looked stained and not clean to sit on. Mattress was hard & squeaky. Neighbors dog barked non stop for hour before we left.
- Shane (2/5): Awful Stay - It was awful! They allow pets and don’t tell you it’s 5.00 a night for each pet! No it’s not much but still they need to tell people and you can’t leave your animal in the room if you leave or you will get a phone call that your dog is barking! You can’t understand a word the owners say! They are VERY RUDE!!! I would not send my worst enemy there! The owner that called me during a work meeting failed to mention the Hotel was completely empty and could have moved the people that were complaining. But, they were outside grilling Ofcourse my Dog is going to Bark!! Once again AWEFUL!! The rooms are nasty! No ice machine and the vending machine’s have bird poop all over due to ALL THE BIRDS IN THE TREES!!!

- Verified traveler (6/5): POOL IS OUT OF ORDER - A couple dead bugs in the restroom that could of been swept up by the cleaning lady. The jacuzzi did work that was the only way to be able to soak. The reason we chose this location was due to a pool and Jacuzzi in the room. When we checked in due not being able to cancel after I paid I asked about pool times and she said it was not open. I would on not booked this location if the site would of said the pool was closed.

The rooms were cleaned but not very good there was pee on the seat when we came in and the floors were so dirty my feet were black.

It was just run down on the inside but was aplace to sleep after a long ride. When we arrived to check in needed to go to the bathroom and the lady said they did not have 1 for us to use. Couch had wholes in it and the bathroom floors were not clean!

Loved that , but again cobwebs, dirty floors and dirt around the shower. Bed was larger, bed sheets looked dirt, hey price was great for 3 nights. I would stay again , if they would clean it.

- Judy (4/5): - Check in area was warm and stagnant. No air circulating. Smell was terrible. Got to room, linens in bathroom were stained brown. Looked they had not been changed in a year. Same with bed linens. Pillows were so flat and old coming apart at seams. No extra toilet paper. No soap in containers. No shampoo. Cups smelled old and made liquids in them taste bad. Air conditioner was falling apart and compressor was acting like it would blow up at any minute and wasn’t cooling good. Floors were very very dirty. I couldn’t take my shoes off, if I did my feet were black with dirt in a matter on minutes. I would have changed to another motel but our daughter lives in this town and other places were a ways away. This place must be used by out of town workers and the rooms are not taken care of. The pool was awful. There was green algae all in the pool. This is august. I would have thought cleaning and preparing this should have been done at the beginning of summer. I have stayed here in the past but it’s never been this bad. We were there for my grandsons wedding. He is in the Air Force and it was hard to keep our belongings smelling nice and clean. Can’t see me staying here again. I really think this room should of been checked and made ready before hand

Overall an affordable place to stay. Do not expect a high end hotel on value price. However, It has everything necessary with no frills and comfortable bed. Good value. We will stay again when in Whitesboro.

- Rhonda (2/5): DONT STAY HERE. - This place was disgusting. Walls in room were stained and nasty. Toilet was loose. Door facing had been chewed up apparently by a dog. Sofa was shredded. Furniture was old, scratched. Pool was a cesspool. Vending room closed. Comforters were thread bare. Asked for a refund and was refused and laughed at by owner/manager. Room was supposed to be smoke free, but wasn’t. Security latch was broken on door. Water running thru parking lot. Greasy handprints on wall of bathroom. AC was cold and good water pressure. This place should be removed from Hotels.com. The only reason I stayed was because of holiday weekend and other hotels were booked.
- Arlan (6/5): Depends on What You're Needing - On the plus side, the rooms were clean and had nice mattresses. On the negative side, some of the containers that said shampoo, etc in the bathroom were empty, the rooms smelled slightly of smoke covered by spray, the non-smoking sign was missing from the door, and the pool had green stuff in the water.
- Ashley (6/5): - Room is older but it was clean for the most part(couch has stains and towels are dingy,bathroom door wouldnt close) . I did not see any bugs and nobody elses hair in the sinks or shower and the room didnt smell bad. Area was quiet. Good value for the price and last minute booking.

The air conditioner was noisy and woke us from sleep every time it turned on (condenser). The pool was green and unusable. No ice, it was locked up. No one should used this place and it is only place close by where we were going, so we had no choice. This place is not taken care of, the owners need to give up if this is the best they can do. Expedia is just saying (oh sorry, nothing we can do about it). TAKE THIS HOTEL OFF THE LIST EXPEDIA (THAT IS YOUR FAULT)

I arrive at the property to check in expecting to get the room that I reserved I pay the price of $101 plus a $5 pet fee which by the way is very low and I have no complaints there anyways little to my knowledge did I no that I was getting the switcheroonie played on me by the owners they didn't explain anything to me I had to do all this by visual anyways I get my keys I go to my room I'll open the door there's no king bed there's two double Queens OK I'm very tired so I lay down I take a nap for about 3045 minutes I get up to go use the restroom expecting to see a hot tub there's no hot tub it was just your standard double queen bedroom nothing special the room was not very clean there were black hairs around the sink it was just a very unpleasant uninviting vibe that I got anyways I went up to the office and I asked them I said I ordered the room with the hot tub then you charge me for that room how come you give me this bed instead of the one that I wanted and they told me that it was because of my dog OK that's understandable van much understandable I cannot aren't you with that people have rooms with carpet in them and I get it they don't want animals in there because it messes it up for the visitors they don't want hair dog hairs everywhere that's understandable I'm not upset about that but what I am upset about is is that they didn't tell me this I had to go back up there and ask why did I get this room instead of t

The bed sheets were torn and pillows were way past when they should be being used. We had a hard time getting past that for $90 a night, but they came and took our towels the next morning and never brought any back. We were there for four nights and I t was Christmas weekend so they were not answering their phone. not a good stay.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Not very accommodating - The family would have liked tp have extra roll of paper in the restrooms and when they asked for extra towels they were told they would have to wait until the next day. That was a first in all my travels.
- Jeremy (2/5): - The room I reserved was not the room I got and I didn’t know until I walked in the room. The man at the counter never said hey btw your room is being changed. Nothing at all. There was hair all over the floor in the bathroom and some dried orange substance was on the wall by the vanity area where it hadn’t been cleaned. Definitely won’t be going back again. They had zero desire to make it right. Comp my room or give me a free or discounted stay. Stay away from here

- Verified traveler (2/5): Stay away! - Reserved a king non-smoking room. Was given a king smoking room and an argument from the check in clerk about my reservation. I don’t believe her English was very good, so that may have played a role. Room stunk so badly I was gagging. Found a sex toy in the couch. Stay away!
