Guest Reviews
- dylan (10/5): Highly recommend - Loved my experience here. One of my favorites. Super cozy. Great host Noise. This is on a busy street. You really need earplugs and some white noise to get through the night or not be light sleeper
- Ricardo (10/5): Chill - É um local bem relaxante, otimo pra quem precisa ficar mais longe do caos Foi tudo okay
- Kristine (1/5): - The check-in and check-out instructions were clear and timely. Queries were answered promptly. There were amenities provided, and kitchenwares that guests can use. I thought the 8.1 rating as well as some of the information and photos on Booking.com were deceiving because, in reality, the place was a bit run-down. The stairs were steep, the hallway very narrow, the shared kitchen filthy, and the bathroom only slightly less so. The room was big enough, but it felt cluttered with a lot of the owner's random stuff. The refrigerator smelled, as did the hand towel beside the sink. The lower part of the bunk bed was too low. Everything creaked, the floorboards, the cabinets, the doors. The passing trains and cars could also be clearly heard from the room. While nothing can be done about how old the facility is, I felt that more could have been done to keep things clean and comfortable for paying guests. After all, I paid just as much as I would have for a cheap hotel room with a private bath and toilet—the one I had initially considered—had it not been sold out.

Value for money

- Blake (10/5): - Its in a great location with great rooms and amazing service, since me and my friend are rather tall he upgraded our room for free too help with space, will come back here again next time i come too japan
- Maria (7/5): We enjoy the place - location is near to the station and Lawson so it is convenience for going to anywhere and finding daily needs the bunk bed makes it difficult to get off it. The sink in the room smells bad after using it
- Maria (10/5): The train station is near Lawson Combined store and super market, and any restaurant near too, showroom is so clean and f - It’s nice clean and silent We relax and rest well, the staff is kind and helpful we want to go back again next time
- Alaina (10/5): came here on a short notice with my cousin and its a very nice place — 10 minute walk from station and an hour away from -

- Eva (5/5): Our two-night stay at Guest House Oasis was fine. We were looking for a simple accommodation, and this one was well loca - The location and the nearby laundry. The accommodation is simple but has everything you need. It is well equipped, even with a hair straightener and a hairdryer. The accommodation was somewhat dirty. Guests were required to walk without outdoor shoes in the common areas, but the floor was not clean. There was hair in the shower drain. During our stay, there was no maintenance and no host present. The entrance door opens onto the back of a bridge in a lonely alley and was always unlocked, which probably allowed a cockroach to get into the room (I found it next to my suitcase). Also, the fridge in the room smelled bad.
- Alvin (9/5): -
- Fatim OB.
- Remi (5/5): Small place that's worth your money if interesting rate. - Less than 10min walk to station, lawson is right outside the building.
Decent for backpackers who just need a place to sleep and get the same rate as dorms for a private room. Windows facing a wall, not quite the view that's on the pictures so really depends on which side of the building your room is located.
Definitely not for 6" people.
Walking through a 1m wide hallway to reach the main door with luggage.

- Ioni (5/5): Passable -
- Ronan (8/5): Very good -
- Muras (10/5): Excellent ! - Positive points to take in count:
- Very close to Namba.
- Great neighborhood.
- Lawson it’s just 1 min walk.
- Host was great, he help us a lot, great human.
- Mitza (8/5): Very good - The nearest station is about a 7-minute walk away, the streets are flat so there is no problem if you bring several suitcases. It is located right next to a Lawson, if you dare to explore the neighborhood further you will find cheap supermarkets and places to eat. The beds were so comfortable that sometimes I felt like I couldn't get up in the morning. I think that cleanliness can be improved in common areas such as the shower or bathroom. In terms of security, I trust Japan a lot, although they give you a key for your room, the entrance door is always open.

- Coral (10/5): Exceptional - Alex was an amazing host!
- Jay (8/5): Very good -
- Elora (9/5): Superb - I stayed here for 2 months and really enjoyed it!
The staff was friendly and always checked up on me, asking if I needed anything. I appreciated that. (And yes, he did speak fluent English).
The guesthouse was kept clean. It's not top-notch clean as what you'd expect from a fancy hotel, but it was as clean as a normal house would be. For the price, there's not much to complain about.
Location was good. It's in a more quiet neighborhood and not near many of the big tourist spots, however, the nearest station (Imazato) was only a 8-minute walk away. So, it was easy to get to places.
There's also a laundry mat and a convenience store right next door, which was great.
Honestly, I would stay again whenever I'm back in Osaka. Thank you. 😊 The beds can be uncomfortable to those who aren't used to them. Very thin cushion. But I didn't mind since I'm used to them and a heavy sleeper. 😂
The room can be a bit noisy too and the walls may shake a little from the trains or cars driving by. However again, it didn't bother me so much.
- Kee (8/5): Very good -
- Lakshmi (9/5): Superb -
- Chi (6/5): Pleasant -
- Serhii (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (8/5): Great value for money in a good location for easy access to public transport - The location is brilliant - took max. 5 minutes to walk to the closest metro station (Imazato), there's Lawson's next door, coin laundry downstairs, and Life supermarket only 5m minutes away. The staff and host were super friendly and helpful, always willing to provide advice and tips on the local area. Great value for money, wi-fi worked grand, and a comfortable stay - I was here for 5 weeks - would happily recommend The doors are very noisy and woke me up many times during my stay
- P.h (10/5): Really beautiful old house. Next to every accomodations. One of the best guesthouse I’ve ever been t -
- Tuấn (8/5): Very good -
- Samantha (7/5): Overall Okay - Next to a Lawson and a laundromat, relatively near the train station. It’s a good base for getting around Osaka. The room and bed were very comfortable. The house is quite old and the walls are thin, I got unlucky and had some noisy neighbours for some of the nights. Because it’s an old building, some of the facilities were quite rundown and the cleanliness could be improved upon for the shared areas, luckily there were no bugs.
- Moveid (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location. Imazato station is 6 mins away and Tsuruhashi station is 12 mins away. Conviniently located right next to a Lawson store as well as a coin laundry. The rooms themselves are equipped with air conditioner and a mini fridge. Shower facility is also available. Accomodation is regulary cleaned and is well maintained. I loved my time here and will book in the future.
- Amélie (1/5): This is seemingly a scam - I guess the good thing is that check-in/out was very easy as nobody taking care of the place was ever present (or at least we were not made aware). The rooms are pretty cheap but it is worth paying a little more just to avoid this place. As noob travelers we ended up here and turns out we didn't stay for all of the nights since it was quite terrible. Cockroaches in the room, extremely dusty place (didn't seem to have been cleaned in ages), dirty sink, uncomfortable beds... Also the place in itself had a very unsettling (and somewhat creepy) vibe, I would not recommend for solo travelers unless you really are on an extremely tight budget. Also, the main door seems to be left open at all times, which makes it easy for bugs to get in, as well as heat and humidity. The location also is not really great: the house shakes everytime a train passes in the nearby station and the neighborhood feels very empty. Please, run.
- Jonathan (6/5): Pleasant - Good value for money Fridge appeared unclean, towels were damp. Entire building stank of cigarette smoke
- Khryss (8/5): It was a comfortable stay. Would book again if given the chance. - It has complete amenities The stairs are a bit steep but manageable
- Morikawa-parle (7/5): Good - great location, very close to Imazato station. shower is fine and beds are comfortable. the ceilings are very low, and the rooms although individual are very very small. For anybody over 6ft, I would recommend against staying in this hostel
purely for the risk of concussion of smashing your head on the ceiling, and back pains that you may have caused from staying bent over during your entire stay.
- Victoire (8/5): Very good - Thanks to Ken, I had an affordable place to stay for a month, with my pet, while settling in Osaka. Ken was really helpful in making sure I had everything I needed. I do a lot of remote work and the internet connection never failed me. The location is great and I will miss the neighbourhood. The kitchen is not really well equiped to cook anything; fortunately, there is a konbini right around the corner.
- Ville (7/5): good place to sleep at, not the cleanest room but it works - the privacy, surrounding area, cheap vending machines. toilets and shower room cleaned daily it was not completely clean in the room, and someone had smoked in my room before me.
- Maximilian (9/5): Superb - Easy self check-in. Room was big and air condition kept me warm at night. Toilet and shower are shared but cleaned every day. Kitchen also available. Good value for money! Nothing.
- Matthew (9/5): Room is spacious, especially for the price. Owner was friendly and accommodating. -
- Sebastien (8/5): Very good - The location / the space in the room / bed really comfy Get noisy when people are walking around at night.
- T (1/5): I have stayed in many rooms in Japan, this is the worst one out there. Plac is an scam. Do not book. - Nothing Place was dirty and had constant smoke smell throughout the building. Other guest were not following rules and smoking in their room. The room is noisy with cars and trains from the main road. Bathroom and shower was dirty. Left after 2 days and never came back.
Don't ever book this place. Did not provide refund for rest of unused days.
- Marcus (8/5): Cheap place to sleep - The price Can't really complain considering the price but in winter it's not at all cozy. Facilties were ok but super cold and the room wasn't very comfortable either. If you're just looking for a cheap place to sleep and are out all day anyway, this place does the job.
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Consorte (8/5): Very good - easy access to train stations
privacy
everything was clean
good value for money specially to those on a budget trip
- Gary (9/5): Superb -
- Nikolai (4/5): Disappointing -
