A házigazdák ajánlottak jó éttermeket a közelben, amelyek közül az egyiket különösen megkedveltük. A Booking.com-on szereplő leírásból nem vált egyértelművé, hogy az árban nincs benne a reggeli. Most is utánanéztem, és a következő mondat szerepel: "A vendégeket minden nap svédasztalos reggeli várja." Igaz, a részletesebb leírásnál már látszik, hogy reggelit nem adnak. Bennünket ez ugyan különösebben nem zavart, de az ár-érték arány eldöntésénél az ilyesmi mégis számíthat.

• JP Laurent (10/5): Full of coziness. - I Did not have any breakfast included, however facility kitchen had all the supplies and gadgets you might need for a breakfast. Location is not really a city center, but is very close to any transport station. Easy to get to any popular area in 20-25 minutes of walking. Also area is full of restaurants. I recommend Elettra which is across the street. it is epic. Can't think of a single thing I could dislike. If you are not an extremely picky, this place is for you.

Inside was clean and fairly modern Thin walls. Front door lock was one of those wireless WiFi locks, it stopped working randomly and we had to get the staff to come and give us a key. Why not just use a key?

Большое спасибо за позднее заселение! Старая сантехника, много пыли под кроватью, на зеркале и тд. На простыни было много чёрных волос. Очень неудобная кровать и ужасно жёсткие подушки (на любителя). Тонкие стены и слышно, как соседи смотрят телевизор. За эту цену можно выбрать хороший отель! Если вы любите старые комуналки с общей кухней и шумными соседями, то вам сюда.
• Karina (9/5): Wonderful Stay! Ilaria was very helpful and answers your questions straightaway! - Location was good! Metro and trains within walking distance. Cafe shop on the corner if you fancy any nice sandwich, latte or any sweet Italian cake. I will definitely stay again if I ever come back to Rome. There was not a kitchen knife in the drawer but we managed to cut our melon using a simple knife for meals.

• Swietopelek (10/5): Wonderful stay as always - This is our third time we stay at Ilaria's place and we surely will come back here for our next trip to Rome. We love how the apartament is placed, we love the commodities such as AC and thick blinders in the windows
• Anna (8/5): Very good - Great location, pretty central, there was a common kitchen with free coffee and tea and cups, plates, cutlery and some basic condiments. Cleaning lady was coming almost everyday for the sheets and garbage. There is an option for washing machine and dryer with a charge if you like to wash your clothes. A free bottle of water per person was given to us when we arrived and there was some filtered water in the fridge. Beds were a bit small and I was a bit scared I might fall during the night so I slept a bit stressed the first couple nights but ok I didn’t fall in the end 😜 Also it would be nice if the tv was smart and could support platforms like Netflix as television there is only in Italian so it’s a bit pointless for us to watch cause we don’t understand anything 😜

• Ovidiu (8/5): Very good - it was close to metro and other turistic objectives. The duvet was wrapped in sheets that moved during the night, and I would end up covered only by the duvet. On top of that, the walls of the rooms were very thin, so I could hear the neighbors all the time. There was a lot of dust on the floor in the room. From the photos, it appeared that the apartment had its own living room. However, in reality, the accommodation featured a shared kitchenette, with each guest only having a room with a private bathroom.
• Patricia (10/5): Perfectly joyful! - Beautiful accommodation that completely exceeded our expectations. The room was huge and beautiful, beds made every day, a small kitchen with mugs, glasses, plates, cutlery, coffee machine etc was very handy. But the most brilliant thing about this place is Ilaria the host, nothing is too big or small. She was always contactable, incredibly friendly and really made our stay amazing. Check in instructions were clear, especially as we arrived late, there was no issue getting into the building and our room. The location is right by Termini and lots of restaurants and cafes. We can't wait to come back. 10/10, one of the best we've stayed in😊 The mattresses are quite firm, but that's just personal preference. We got used to it after the first night.

• Mat (7/5): Good - I stayed at Joyful Guest House during my vacation in Rome. The property is an apartment converted into a guest house, featuring private rooms and a shared kitchen near the entrance. My room was small but functional, equipped with a bed, wardrobe, TV, desk, and a private bathroom. Pros: The room and facilities were clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming. When I reported an internet issue, they fixed it after a day. Cons: - Washing Machine Misleading Information: I chose this place over others in the same price range because it advertised washing machines in the rooms. However, upon arrival, I discovered there was only a shared washing machine and dryer in the kitchen area, and using them cost €15. While the listing stated that laundry services incur an extra cost, I believe this setup is misleading, as using a shared machine is different from a full-service laundry. Neither speaking to the staff nor contacting customer support resolved the issue, so I ended up using a nearby laundry service instead. - Accessibility Issues: Although the building has an elevator, there are five steps at the entrance leading to it. This made accessing the elevator difficult, especially with a stroller. The elevator itself is very narrow and old-fashioned, so larger strollers would likely not fit. We were fortunate that ours was compact, but it was still a challenge.

Be careful. - In walking distance to very many interesting and very historical churches, lovely parks, restaurants, Colosseum and other sites. The host of this unit was very friendly, helpful and accommodating as well.

• Martins (5/5): An experience for sure, but in a good location - Simple property with all you need for a quick stay near the train station in Rome. The property is just an apartment converted into a guest house, which at first might even be a bit shocking - you arrive at an apartment building with various locals walking in and out of their building as you wait for someone to arrive for about 15 minutes. The guests each have a room with a shared kitchen area, and hence it feels more amateurish than one might expect. The facilities are not as modern as the pictures might suggest. The staff are friendly, but some don’t speak English and are not that well organised.

• Sharon (4/5): Will not recommend - Spacious room, kitchen facilities. 1. Dodgy area, not for solo travellers. On one of the nights, we saw a man hiding behind the building’s main door and when he saw us, he asked us to shush and let him hide. Very scary experience. On the next day, there was a mattress where he stood, making it hard to get out of the door with our luggage. It looked unsafe to touch or move it by ourselves. Picture attached. 2. One of the beds in our room had bugs. 3. Air conditioning very poor. Hardly functional. 4. Lift is extremely dated and looks unsafe.

• Joshua (10/5): A very accessible property to visit Rome on a budget - We had a wonderful time at the property. The close proximity to Termini station makes it very accessible to all parts of Rome. The property has been refurbished recently and our stay was superb. Would highly recommend for a budget stay and easy access around Rome. Nothing in particular. The area where the property is not very well kept however we did not have and bad experience on this point. Still area is safe and in truth there is not much the host would be able to do. Fortunately enough the property does meet all the standards offered. So would definitely recommend.

• Yeghiazaryan (9/5): Apart from the location, everything was great - The staff was very friendly, everything was clean and nice. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms very clean and also comfortable. The location was not the best. Right in front of the building there were some suspicious people, that make you feel unsafe. Some homeless people sitting just next to it. Late at night coming back to the hotel might be a bit uncomfortable. Also 20-25 minutes walk to Colloseum and other tourist places

• Ha (10/5): Amazing hostess at a truly joyful place - Iralia is one of the warmest people I have ever met. From the moment she greeted us with her amazing energy I knew that everything about our stay would be wonderful. She puts the joy in Joyful Guest House and if I come back to Rome I will stay here just because of her. As for the hotel: Joyful Termini is clean and simple. Located right next to the metro. Tea and snacks provided. Housekeeping comes and makes the bed too! Exceeded all my expectations for a very reasonable price in the heart of Rome. Nothing. We actually got moved to Joyful Termini due to lack of availability at Joyful Guest but Iralia found another room for our friends so we could all stay together.

The owner very nice and helpful. Really recomended The neighbourhood was a little bit dodgy, but once you enter to the aprtment you have a nice surprise
• Aida (8/5): The manager was great the morning breakfast drink and supplies were good. - It was clean, the outside street doesn’t give a fair view of the property. However, we arrived at the property around 10:30 pm and it was okay. Lot of graffiti in the block and garbage smell. One block street smell and graffiti.
• Guthrie (5/5): illaria very good and helpful ,the problem is the area and building. - Illaria is a very good host and very helpful , the room is a good room and comfortable.there are three rooms with a common area. near to tube station which is easy to use and cheap , within walking distance to some sites . also near to main train and bus station. there are also bus and trams to use nearby. The area and the building is a bit rough ,with overflowing large bins in the street outside, lots of graffiti on nearby premises. the safe in the room just sitting on a shelf ,not fixed to wall , and could be carried easily.
• Caitlyn (10/5): Perfect host - Ilaria was the perfect host. She had great recommendations for food and how to plan out our days. Beds and Pillows are firm. Shared little kitchen type area with allocated fridge space. Perfectly located to metro and train station, but quite a walk into the centre.

• Nikaolaos (10/5): Hidden gem in the heart of Rome - Wonderful stay! Our host, Ilaria, was very accommodating and friendly. The room was spacious with great a/c and we had access to the kitchen and could use the microwave for meals. The location was also ideal, mere minutes by foot from the central bus and train terminal and perhaps 150 meters from the Subway. Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Rome! Guest house is on the second floor (third floor by U.S. thinking). The elevator works but is old, very small and narrow, not for people with claustrophobia (typical for older buildings in Rome).

• Katerina (4/5): Disappointing, in a bad area. - The AC was working, the room is a good size with comfortable beds and the hostess Ilaria was very kind. One week only before our arrival we were informed that it is not a hotel room but a room in a 3 bedroom apartment with no everyday cleaning. We fell entrapped but there was nothing we could do. We were promised though that we would have every day cleaning but that was not the case at the end. The location is convenient but the area is terrible, very dirty and feels unsafe, we were seeing rats regularly and even a homeless person defecating between cars! At night you don’t feel safe walking in that area. My 14 year old daughter was stressing out every time we were walking back to the room in the evening. The building is very old and extremely dirty with a cage elevator! The room definitely needs refurbishing, a new coat of paint and the cleaning was not the best. We found a dead bedbug so on that day only they changed our sheets. The toilet was not getting cleaned properly. I would never stay there again.

The host was excellent, very friendly and gave us useful tips and directions. We had a lovely time, I would certainly go back to this place if in Rome. Thanks Ilaria ! N/a
• Nevena (10/5): Exceptional - It was very clean, and the host is very kind and helpful. Location is ok, all on foot distance. But being next to train station is not pleasant at night. It is safe but just not pleasant. All else was super!
