Guest Reviews
- Thomas (6/5): Beware of low season and dont come on opening week... - Fantastic staff and lots to do. Kids club staff especially are next level. Room were spacious We went in low season, which we didnt even know existed, only 1 restaurant was open out of 7. There was a tech conference on and it seemed the hotel prioritised that. The kids pool and playground was dirty/unkept, slides didnt work and the grass wasn't cut. A lot of the hotel is outdated, no dressing gowns/ironing boards, bathroom leak

Torneremo l'anno prossimo come ogni anno!

- Francois (10/5): An amazing place for families - Everything is designed to create a fantastic family stay. If I had to summarise it in one word, it would be generosity.
- LUCA (10/5): Vacanza perfetta - Bellissima posizione e struttura molto curata immersa in una pineta naturale. personale preparato, cordiale e sempre sorridente nell’accogliere qualunque necessità.
- Francesco (9/5): Great holiday resort to relax
with kids - We had a wonderful time with our two daughters. Great food morning to evening, great service, always present and attentive, never intrusive. Plenty of space for everyone at the pool and amazing beach with white sand and beautiful blue water. The kids club is a life saver, kids were with the staff from 10am to 10pm and loved every minute. We could totally unwind. The only negative for me was the live music selection in the evening at the pool bar. While the live bands were really good, some of the artists that played with backing tracks off their keyboard were really not that great. Touring puglia we saw so many street artists who would be a much better option. Go for live music always!!
- Claire (10/5): - This is a fantastic resort. The food is a very high quality. The staff are excellent, they are so helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The grounds of the resort are really well maintained and beautiful. The beach is superb! Thoroughly recommended
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional -
- David Macrae (10/5): - Amazing. The resort is faultless, from location, to food, to the kids club. We had the pleasure of staying for 2 weeks with our 4 year old son. There were endless activities to do during our stay, for our son (kids club fun), for me (wind surfing, snorkelling, kayaking) for my wife (spa, beach, paddle boarding) and as a family. The Vivosa staff were all exceptional, with a big thank you to all of the kids club extraordinaires! From 10am to 10pm they provide entrainment, care, humour, fun and much more. A brilliant holiday and would love to return.
- Marco (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michele (10/5): - Settimana fantastica, coccolati in tutto, bella spiaggia, piscine e pranzi sempre ottimi e variegati.
- Carlo (10/5): Exceptional - Good size, good layout, good bed. Great overall facilities, excellent staff, fantastic food. Room decor could be updated, no hair conditioner in the room.
- Elliot (10/5): It’s paradise. The staff are lovely. My new favourite place! - Everything! Nothing!
- ALDO (10/5): mare mare mare ..... e NON SOLO - Bella location e ottima organizzazione
- Mathew (10/5): Amazing I will be back - Fillipo and the mini club were amazing. Pastry chef is fantastic. Massimo, Davido and all the bar staff were fantastic. The mini disco (with Asia) was really fun and the dinner was excellent. Beach and facilities are exceptional. Adult entertainment in the evening was very poor. I did complain to the German (I think) lady in guest relations but nothing seemed to change, she she was overall not particular friendly or guest orientated.
- Nazma (9/5): Superb - The place is beautiful with abundant greenery.
Well-maintained surroundings.
Visited during peak flower bloom, resulting in vibrant colors everywhere.
Gorgeous and clean beach.
Heated pool was very enjoyable.
Lots of activities for kids, including falcons, pony rides, and llama visits.
Full-day kids club is a relief for parents.
Nightly entertainment varies from okay to amazing depending on the band.
All-inclusive approach provided plenty of drinks and snacks.
Polite and obliging staff, despite language barriers.
Informative and helpful guest services staff.
Comfortable rooms.
Restaurant and wait staff were five-star worthy.
Attention to little details like not having plastic bins.
Staff promptly clearing the tables every time.
Gluten-free options available. The food was average, with noticeable improvement only when corporate visitors were present.
Rooms are not up to a 4-star standard.
More thorough pre-arrival room checks for issues like drainage and door locks are needed.
- Justin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Luz (10/5): Beautiful place full of nature, eco-friendly and with great food and friendly staff - The place is absolutely beautiful and well maintained. It is clean, spacious and eco-friendly. The staff is very kind and helpful. The food is delicious, and they have a different offer every day. We are vegan and we had lots of options. We went off season and it was a paradise! It should be better specified if the food is vegetarian or vegan, as it wasn't clear and we had to keep asking and we are sure we ate some cheese and even bacon by mistake.
The decoration of the room could be improved but overall they were ok.
- Marius (8/5): Very good -
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - Everything
- Agata (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - For the first time I had a holiday in an all inclusive hotel and I liked absolutely everything. Firstly it is a beautiful beach, secondly very good territory, where there is absolutely everything for recreation. We holidayed with a baby and I want to say that this is an ideal place for a holiday with children. Very good food, great choice of dishes, everything is fresh, great choice of desserts. Nice staff and fun animation. Thank you for a wonderful holiday, we will definitely go again.
- Carolyn (10/5): Would 💯 recommend and can’t wait to come back. - Everything, amazing facilities, fantastic food selections and quality. Staff we extremely helpful. Nothing
Could do with the gym being open at 8am, as this clashes with breakfast else.
- Kyle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claudio (10/5): - Wunderbar
- Clint (9/5): Superb -
- Emiliano (9/5): Superb -
- Matthew (8/5): Very good -
- Alexandre (9/5): Superb -
- Lía (7/5): great spot for families! would highly recommend! - big facilities, clean, and lots of things to do the towel service, needing to go to change the towel yourself.
bad wifi
- Joanna (9/5): Absolutely delightful - The food is just amazing.
The pools are beautiful and spacious Rooms are a little small, the shower was very tight and it would have been nice to have a bath tub.
- Deimante (9/5): Vivosa Apulia was exceptional, big thank you to all the staff and the beautiful resort - Vivosa Apulia was truly amazing. very friendly staff, great location, amazing beach. Also, excellent food. Rather minor details - perhaps it would be good to separate family holiday makers (assuming that’s the mainstream of the resort) from the business conferences. Conference participants tend to stick in groups and dominate the atmosphere, also causing big queues for coffee etc. We are on holidays, hoping to have a rest from the corporate world. it’s very common for hotels to host variety of functions, but keeping them apart.
- Simona (7/5): A beautiful situated hotel, but lacking on many aspects! - The location is wonderful, the pools are nice and the beach also is quite nice. The property has well manicured gardens and tennis and football facilities, which are all nice. A good size spa, nice massage tables, (however the massages didn’t convince me).
The staff is all very friendly, the beach bar very good, overall it has potential, but… Completely chaotic dining, poor choice and quality of food, queues for food and coffee (and the season was not even officially open!!), conferences and hoards o people wearing badges ‘invading’ the grounds and then the dining facilities and the beach bar.
The main reception, dining halls and bar are all using the same set of toilets (4 cubicles in ladies’), which I find unacceptable.
The cleaning is not properly done, the room had an awful smell of mould when we first arrived and despite keeping doors open, it didn’t go away over the week we stayed there.
Shower gel and shampoo fixed to the walls only in the rooms, not even basic supply of toiletries (no body cream, no conditioner, no vanity set).
Another aspect which I really didn’t like was the marketing of beach sun-beds at Cocoloco which is not actually the hotel’s location, but 100m or so further from their beach bar and facilities. We managed to find sunbeds and did not need the ‘fantastic’ Cocoloco which remained anyway ‘empty’ for the entire of our stay at a cost of €140…
Finally, the kids clubs appeared very fun, but only for the Italian speaking kids, so be aware if your kids are not Italian speakers, they would most likely feel left out (ours 13 and 8 did and after the 1st day they didn’t want to go with the groups anymore!!).
To be more specific, the staff is fantastic, young and friendly, some speak English (and most likely other languages), but the way the groups are organised doesn’t ‘allow’ them to entertain in more languages simultaneously and the incidence of Italian speaking kids was in the region of 80%, so it makes sense that Italian was used and the non speakers remained on the side.
So yes, beautiful place, but no way near the ***** they claim!
- Laura (10/5): Perfect holiday!!! - We loved: the cakes and pastries of Fabrizio, the enthusiasm and friendliness of the animation staff (Fabio, Mattia, Michele, Domenico, Luca, Alex, Giulia, Asia), the perfect setting in the nature (wonderful sea & beach and huge & well-maintained green areas), the tasty vegetables and strong drinks, the salentino coffees, the aperos on the beach, the baby dance with our little one
- Yan (8/5): Very good -
- Claudia (9/5): The perfect place for families! - The resort was above our expectations. We had an old but nice room with spacious garden in the front and full privacy, the pools are simply beautiful, two even heated, the gardens are spectacular ( olive trees, lavender, rosemary and lots of flowers), the beach it’s clean and the sea it’s gorgeous (depending on the wind of course can become really flat and crystal clear). The path to reach the beach is beautiful with a huge playground and other spots for different activities. The staff was lovely and food was overall good. SPA absolutely to try and very nice guests around. I’ll definitely go back there and we would have loved to stay there 3 or 4 days longer! If you have kids you’ll be able to relax and really enjoy your vacation! things which can be improved: cleaning of the rooms and avoid to have the whole day music at the beach. Few hours a day it’s nice but sometimes I needed some peace and my baby couldn’t fall asleep because of the volume.
really disappointing point: baby club (which was for us one of the main reasons why we booked). No separated groups by age as mentioned, no proper activities for small children, no qualified staff able to take care of a 2 years old child: young guys who were staying mostly on the phone, playing loud music and the biggest activity was giving to the kids paper and crayons. The hotel guests are international and none of them was able to talk English, German or French. Only alternative of food I saw them giving the kids as afternoon snack was chocolate (cakes or cookies). Nothing healthier. I think they were ok for bigger kids, I saw a couple having fun with them but absolutely not ok for such small children like mine. They didn’t have the right approach and manners. After I complained the loud music disappeared but the trust was gone and my boy didn’t want to stay with them. I talked with other parents and they all agreed, even the few which were sending their older kids to the babyclub daily. They wouldn’t have sent there smaller ones either. Same for German, Swiss, English and French guests I spoke to: they didn’t feel comfortable with those guys and therefore they could not use this service.
- Beata (8/5): Lovely week on an amazing beach - The beach was amazing and the stuff very helpful N/a
- L4wll (9/5): We had a very enjoyable stay and would consider going again - The Resort was idyllic . It ticked many boxes, from the bedrooms , the food , friendliness of the staff as well as the facilities on offer. The only minor complaint is that most of the evening entertainment was in Italian but then again there were mainly Italian families at the resort !😊
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kate (9/5): Superb -
- Hester (7/5): good family hotel for people with children 4 plus. - the facilities for children were amazing - particularly if your children are between the ages of 4 and 10. it was a large spacious resort and you didn’t feel too crammed in.
The food for an inclusive was good but don’t expect anything too fancy. The room was really tired.
It wasn’t clear that the a la carte restaurant was chargeable - the food was basically the same as downstairs but you had to pay 30 euros a head. We didn’t know this until we had eaten.
- Katie (6/5): Hotel overall was nice and food excellent but 2 main things let the hotel down - kids club and room - Food was excellent
Nice swimming pools Balcony was tiny - could only fit one chair
Kids club was terrible - no proper activities/ no proper safeguarding/ kids v unhappy
- Marco (10/5): - Magnificent all-inclusive resort. A must for families, the kids club is active from 10am to 9.45pm even for meals. New activities everyday. Restaurants and bars have amazing food options at zero added cost (real high value all-inclusive). Pricey but worth every penny.
- Richard (10/5): - Absolutely beautiful resort in a picturesque location on the Ionian Sea. Highly recommend this for a relaxing stay!
- Jenny (10/5): - The pool area was incredible, tiered and with a warm spa pool at the top, perfect for relaxing. The beach was nice to walk along, the service was impeccable and the hotel was very peaceful. The rooms were simple but did the trick, and we didn't spend much time in them anyway! Would highly recommend.
- Verified traveler (10/5): simply great - The place is amazing, fabulous beach and large swimming pools and an amazing pine wood. Good food and good entertainment, which was also very discrete and not at all invasive to those who just wanted to relax. ur kids did not want to join the miniclub so I cannot comment on this.
- marco (10/5): Eccellenza - Tutto meraviglioso
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Tutto perfetto animazione relativamente sooft confort bagno scarsa. Solo doccia shampoo niente creme dopo sole o piccoli dettagli come cotonfioc ecc
Bellissimi giardino, piscina, centro benessere. Possibilità di escursioni organizzate.
