• Norma (6/5): - Upon arrival for 3pm check-in I had not received the door code or room number from Expedia. I called the local number on the entrance door and after the person I spoke with, who was very helpful, I received the code and room number. Entering the assigned room, I found it had not been cleaned from the previous guest checkout, was sent to a second room which had not been cleaned, then to a third room which was cleaned but did not have what I requested, which was a room with a sofa. I was informed the housekeeper would come within the hour and prepare the original assigned room. Upon my return the room was cleaned, but hair remained in the bathtub and sink. All else was fine. The kitchen area appears to be cleaned by each guest using it and was well stocked and user friendly. The entrance/deck could use a touchup as it felt like you were entering an apartment building as opposed to the main entrance of a hotel/suite/inn.

• Darla (8/5): Okay, but basic - The entrance was in the back of a building and the sign on the main road was in among other signs, so it was not easy to find. We had reserved three rooms, but only had email confirmations for two of them. I had to call to find out the thrird room and code. The person who answered the phone was responsive and helpful. There is no person at the property, so for any questions-like how to lower the blinds without breaking them -took a phone call. The rooms were spacious, but very basic. There is a communal kitchen. There was coffee for three and we were six people. It was a communal coffee pot and other guests used it early in the morning, so it was unclear whether we could use it since it still had coffee in it. We called to ask for more coffee the night before, but none was delivered. There was plenty of off street convenient parking and all the rooms were on the first floor. The stay was okay for one night, but just be aware of more details if you want to book here.

• Donna (10/5): Clean, tidy and comfortable - We were very impressed with the facility. It is very clean and tidy. The room we stayed in was lovely. I like having a love seat for sitting instead of a chair. The bed was comfortable and we had a good sleep. We will definitely stay again and have already recommended it to others.

• Heather (10/5): - Riverview Suites is a new building featuring a lovely location by the water. There is a shared kitchen and laundry which was very handy on our driving trip driving through Newfoundland. We enjoyed meeting the other guests. Coffee/tea were supplied and grocery shopping was a short drive away. There is a lovely trail we enjoyed across the street. The rooms were clean and well-stocked. The managers were available by phone when needed. We enjoyed our stay very much.

• Gary (8/5): - Good overall, but check-in was terrible. The door code was supposed to arrive the day before but it wasn’t sent until 11:36 the day of check-in. Since we didn’t have wifi yet we didn’t receive the message and that message was the only one with a contact phone number. Fortunately another guest was able to help us but it wasn’t fun at all. Not having a receptionist when the “touchless” system doesn’t work is awful.
• Barbara (10/5): - This is a great property for short or long term stay to explore the area. Well taken care of. I had one little problem that I also had on my last stay at the property …accessing entry code on time. This was easily solved but could be a headache for someone arriving late and not being aware of how to contact someone. Hopefully, they will work out the confusion with this. The staff was excellent to speak with!

• Norman (8/5): - Our 6 night stay was pleasant. We were close to everything we wanted to do while in Clarenville. We knew where the towels were and helped ourselves. Washer and dryer worked good. The waterfront was relaxing and it as nice seeing the birds on the rocks when tide went out. Kitchen could have been a bit cleaner. Guests were not always good cleaning up after themselves.

The common/shared kitchen and laundry were very convenient. The surroundings were so peaceful and serene and the river is so picturesque. It was a very enjoyable stay, I will definitely stay here again!

• Jason (4/5): - Clean property. Good location. Full kitchen but it is shared. This is not a suite, it is a hotel room with access to a kitchen. Rooms do not have deadbolts. I slept late one morning and a maintenance person entered my room. Complained about this but received no response.

• Warren (6/5): - There was no one we could talk when it came to asking fot more towels and supplies. The water pressure in the bathroom was very low and many times it felt like the water was just drippling through the pipes. On the check out day, which we believed was at 11am, the cleaning staff barged on into the room at 9:30am, thinking we were gone, while we were still in bed. Which spooked my partner and I, and we rushed out the door. There was only one lock on the door, which was not a dead bolt. As we were leaving the cleaning crew that intruded into the room, was outside the door in a "No Smoking" area smoking. Overall, its an ok place to stay if i had to work in the area or was stuck looking for a place to stay. But not an idea place to on vacation.

• Lynn (8/5): - We stayed 3 nights, 2 in one room and the 3rd night in a different room. We only had one night stand which was inconvenient for those of us that like to read. Also, in the 2nd room there was a pedestal sink and no counter space or shelf. No coffee maker in the room, and although there was a kitchen, it didn't seem to be any coffee provided for us. The fridge in the first room froze anything we put in there, even after we reduced the temperature. We lost some expensive cheese.

It was the back of some other building; the passcode system would have be okay except they used a 4 digit # that was part of my profile that any idiot could have figured out to get them into the building and my room; there was an outside door to my lower level room which made me feel unsafe; and I didn't know about previously; the room was nothing like the picture. There was NO sofa; not desk; the bed was against the wall so my 77 year old husband had to crawl over me to go to the restroom. There was NOthing walkable near the building; the common kitchen was occupied for hours by people cooking smelly food; and it was right across from our room so we couldn't sleep for the noise or the smell. UNACCEPTABLE IN EVERY WAY
