• Orzech55 (6/5): nie wrócę - widok z tarasu, ogród nie można zaparkować samochodu pomimo że jest dużo miejsca na terenie a okolica jest brudna, zaśmiecona i wygląda trochę nieprzyjemnie po zmroku ,zawracanie głowy przez właściciela i podsuwanie co chwile do czytania informacji na telefonie , z basenu nie można korzystać pomiędzy 13-16:30 dziwne bo to najlepszy czas i chyba celowo na ten czas ustawiono filtracje, zimna woda w basenie bo oczywiście na podgrzewanie szkoda pieniędzy, właściciel kilka razy dziennie podjeżdża pod apartament skuterem zobaczyć co się dzieje, trochę to irytujące, żeby zejść do miasta trzeba pokonać 460 schodów w dół często zabrudzonych fekaliami.
• Kristina (10/5): We would go back! - The view was wonderful and the pool was excellent. There was plant of outdoor space for each apartment. The garden that was over 100 years old was beautiful. We had a rental car so it was easy to get around to Pompeii, Neapel, Amalfi. It was a little bit cold due to the weather.

• QuangNgugu (5/5): Great spot on the hill of Castellammare but we did not like the humidity in the apartment - The location is in a middle of a large and beautiful garden, well maintained. The Apartment is located on the hill with an exceptional view on Castellamare di Stabia. The appartement is large and functional. We announced our arrival to the owner 1 hour upfront but did wait more than one hour in front of the residency's door. We were welcome by the uncle of the owner. High humidity in the apartment (#3) with the corresponding smelling. The shower head on the ceiling is flawed. We spent 4 days there but were all days long on the road visiting the spots nearby, therefore we did not make the most of the apartment and its utilities.
• Lita (8/5): - The view is excellent, the hosts are wonderful, and in this regard everything was perfect. The apartment was missing a dishwasher and a washing machine. There are no windows, only doors. In summer this might be an advantage, as it keeps the place cool, but we stayed in October and it was a drawback. The area where the apartment is located is historic, beautiful, and seemingly safe; however, going down to the city in the evening is not recommended, as it is unsafe (you can reach the city via the old path, which is both a challenge and an experience at the same time).
• Willy (10/5): In alle opzichten een aanrader voor wie de baai van Napels wil verkennen! - We hebben zo genoten van de rust en het prachtige uitzicht op de baai van Napels! Het appartement met groot terras is prima gelegen voor uitstappen naar Napels, Herculaneum, Pompeï, Sorrento.Ook Caserta en Amalfi zijn op een uur met de auto te bereiken. We namen de boot in Castellamare naar Capri. Prima en warm ontvangst en het appartement is prima in orde. Het nabijgelegen restaurant , op wandelafstand, Don Mimi, is zeker ook een echte aanrader. Een klein detail : wij miste een broodrooster omdat er dichtbij geen winkels zijn.
• Monica (10/5): Beautiful stay with panoramic Vesuvius views and convenient location - My husband and I had an amazing stay here for a week in September 2025! We didn’t hire a car, as we’ve never driven on the continent and were a little nervous about driving on the opposite side of the road, but we found it very easy to explore the surrounding areas from the Villa without one. It was about a 15-minute walk to the station (with a steep walk back, though we enjoy walking so this was fine) and from there we took wonderful day trips to Sorrento, Positano, Capri, Pompeii and Herculaneum. A ferry from Capri and Sorrento even came directly back to the port at Castellamare, which was such a bonus and saved us some train rides. It was also only about a 15-minute walk to Castellamare lungomare, where we consistently enjoyed affordable and delicious dinners, drinks, and even swims in the sea. Staying here was an amazing alternative to staying in Sorrento itself—much more affordable while still allowing us to see all the sights and eat delicious food with wonderful panoramic views. The apartment was clean, modern, well-equipped, and had a lovely pool. The view was absolutely unbelievable. Special mention to the gentleman who checked us in and out (sadly we didn’t catch his name)—he was possibly the nicest man we have ever met. We couldn’t recommend Poggio Miramare more highly. Nothing
• Nadège (7/5): Bel emplacement avec vue et calme - La vue sur le golf de Naples est splendide et le cadre de vie dans un parc luxuriant est superbe. C’est très calme en général, et très bien entretenu par un jardinier très discret. Si vous venez en voiture, prenez un petit modèle, il y a très peu de places de parc et la rue devient très étroite. La piscine est petite mais a le mérite d’exister, elle rafraîchit bien après une journée de visites ! Notre hôte nous a accueilli avec gentillesse et disponibilité. Humidité récurrente. Présence de moustiques tigres (rayés, présents la journée et de taille inférieure à 5 mm), malgré les sprays répulsifs et dispositifs à brûler que nous avons acheté, nous avons été abondamment piqués. La bougie à la citronnelle fournie par notre hôte n’a pas été d’un grand secours. La gestion des déchets n’est pas idéale, qui plus est quand notre hôte passe trier son verre vide à 23h45 à côté de l’appartement en scooter…c’est très bruyant. Nous sommes sensés suivre le planning de ramassage dans la rue qui ne correspond pas aux jours de séjour. Des conteneurs destinés aux clients seraient donc bienvenus. Ne voulant pas tout mettre dans la rue à même le sol au début d’un week-end par 30 degrés, nous n’avons pas eu d’autres choix que de tout laisser dans l’appartement.

• Peggy (8/5): Ruhige Unterkunft mit traumhaften Ausblick! - Wer Ruhe im Urlaub mag und ein Auto zur Verfügung hat oder gut zu Fuß ist, ist hier genau richtig! Traumhafte Lage am Berg mit Blick auf die Bucht bis Neapel, Vesuv und Pompeji. Der Abstieg/ Aufstieg in den Ort dauert 1/2 Stunde und ist im Sommer sehr sportlich, aber machbar. Da ist der Pool im Garten Gold wert. Wir sind vom Bahnhof abgeholt und bei der Abreise auch wieder dorthin zurück gebracht worden, das war toll. Ebenso war der Vermieter sehr schnell tätig bei einem defekten Tisch und verstopftem Abfluss. Ca 500m entfernt gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt mit allem Notwendigen, ausreichend. Insgesamt schöne Unterkunft. Die Waschmaschine war nicht wie vermerkt in der Küche bzw. Wohnung direkt, sondern in einem separaten Raum, der auch für Reinigungsmittel etc. dient und der verschlossen war. Auf Nachfrage haben wir aber sofort den Schlüssel erhalten, war also auch kein Problem.
• Fernando (8/5): - Las vistas y la conexión a sorrento. Es importante destacar que sin auto estas lejos de todo. La cocina no contaba con todos los elementos. Además para usar la lavadora debía dejar la ropa para que la laven porque estaba bajo llave. La pileta tenía horario reducido y el colchón del sofá debería actualizarse. El parking que ofrecieron no es tal. Hay que dejar el auto en la calle
• Thorsten (8/5): - Die Anlage war sehr gepflegt und hatte eine unglaubliche Aussicht. Der Ort Castellamare ist kein sehr schoener Ort. Demnach habrn wir uns hauptsaechlich in der Anlage aufgehalten. Wir haben weder Supermaerkte noch Restaurants in naeherer Umgebung gesehen. Das Parken in der Strasse gestaltet sich sehr schwierig, da die Straßen dort sehr eng sind.
• Marina (10/5): Tolle Unterkunft - Die Lage zwischen Neapel und Amalfi und Aussicht auf die Bucht und den Vesuv war traumhaft, auch der Pool war perfekt um sich nach einem Ausflugstag zu entspannen und abzukühlen. Das Appartement war super ausgestattet und wir wurden vom Besitzer sehr herzlich empfangen. Alles super! Die Zimmer hatten einen leicht muffigen Geruch aufgrund von Feuchtigkeit. War aber nicht weiter schlimm.
• Tiina (9/5): Stunning views! - The location was amazing! The views from the terrace over the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius were absolutely stunning. The garden, full of flowers, was very beautiful and well maintained. The apartment was clean and modern, with everything we needed. We also enjoyed the small pool — a nice touch on warm days. Communication was excellent, with very fast replies to our messages. Pool hours were limited — there was a midday ”siesta” break, and the pool closed already at 7 PM in the evening. Also good to know: The washing machine is not in the apartment itself.

• Lavinia-maria (9/5): Good - The view was amazing. With a beautiful garden/terrace. All the facilities were good. We like that we had just 2 neighbours, the "vila" has just 3 apartments so was very quiet. Our apartment was in the middle, and it had one bedroom, one bathroom, and an open space kitchen with a living room. In the living room it is an extandable couch good for sleeping. The apartment is very well equipped. The pool was relaxing, just the timing wasn't the perfect one. Between 13:00-16:00 and after 19:00 you are not aloud to use it. The "Vila" was up on the hill, so if you don't enjoy walking on vacations, you should consider renting a car. The owner is very hospitable. Even he wasn't speaking english. He asked us almost every day how we enjoyed our stay. We didn't rent a car and he was so nice that he drove us for free at the train station. The apartment hadn't windows, just doors, so it was a little bit of mould.
• Hussain (7/5): Pleasant - Amazing mountain view (worth 10/10). Outdoors seating. Pool Beautiful lush garden. Staff responsive and friendly. Private and secured property. Walking distance to the city centre and sea shore (but lots of stairs to climb). Central location to go to Naples, Vesuvius, Pompeii, the south coast No parking on property so we parked on street and had to walk to the property with our luggage about 90-100 meters. The parking spaces on the street were limited so we had the anxiety if space will be available every time we were out by car but we got lucky every time. From main gate to the apartment there is another 40-50 m walking down steep hill so little exhausting with luggage down or up. Pool overground type with very limited access time and gets crowded easily due to its size. Shower drain very slow so water collects around your foot while showering.

• Shirley (10/5): Exceptional - Although we only stayed shortly at the accommodation from Ottavio’s uncle, if we had to visit the area again, will definitely come back. We have been welcomed very warmly by the oncle. Despite the langage barrier, google translation has been our good friend. And it was absolutely no problem to understand each other. Yes you would need a car to join at easiest the beautiful apartment with its comfy terrace and the amazing view day and night from it. At the same time to visit around the Amalfi Coast the best way we think is also by car. In the apartment you will find all the basics you need to make yourself confortable during the holiday. All in all we would further recommande this accommodation :)

It would be nice if have a dehumidifier in future

• Adrian (2/5): Left after 1 night - The view is nice. You can park on the street, a bit difficult, or pay for reserved parking. We left after 1 night even though we payed for 4 nights. It was probably the first rental of the season and so the walls were very cold. The room only has air-conditioning, no radiators. The air-conditioning did not manage to make it warm enough to be able to turn it off during the night. The child bed we received had a strong smell of mould so we did not use it and put it outside. The room itself and the blankets that were in the wardrobes smelled of mould.

Fantastic apartment, modern, clean and fully equipped. Beautiful huge garden around the house. Very friendly host. Thank you everything Uncle Ottavio :) Literally nothing.
• Károly (8/5): Great place, great view, bad location - The host and his uncle were extremely helpful and hospitable. The view is amazing! The apartment is nicely renovated and pretty stylish. You need a car or taxi due to the location. We were by foot and it was really exhausting to get there.

To be expected but very helpful - Property was nice clean and modern with beautiful views would highly recommend for a romantic get away Booking.com said it was a 10 minute walk from the wedding we were there to attend but instead it cost 300€ per day in taxis which ate into funds and restricted us from doing activities for the children

• Coralie (10/5): A marvellous view - Our host kept our luggage while the house was cleaned up and available so that we could enjoy our arrival in Castellamare. Check-in and communication is very easy when you need something or informations. He was really helpful and kind to us, he indicated everything we can visit in the area! The house was perfect and the view from the terrace incredible! We went to visit Sorrento, Pompéi, Capri by boat from Castellammare. A very nice place to go on holidays! I recommend! Nothing!

• Kerry (9/5): Magnificent View and Exceptional Hosts - The apartments have a magnificent view over the Bay of Naples to Vesuvius. Best suited for those travelling in a car. The hosts were exceptional and picked us up from the station and organised a taxi for our departure. It is a great way to understand the Vesuvius-Pompeii connection and a good base to explore the Amalfi Coast.

• Cowan (9/5): Superb - Nice host and location. Host brought us everything we needed! Really nice flats but not really designed for more than 2 people to stay, the sofa beds weren’t very comfortable and the hot water ran out at the 4th shower. Otherwise everything was perfect
