• ines (10/5): Una estancia realmente maravillosa en un lugar único. - Nos encantó esta casa en Piha. Está situada en pleno bosque, elevada sobre pilares de madera, lo que le da un encanto especial y una sensación de absoluta tranquilidad. La casa estaba impecable y perfectamente equipada, con todo lo necesario para cocinar: utensilios, pequeños electrodomésticos y hasta detalles como sal, pimienta y otros básicos. La cama era muy cómoda, la ducha funcionaba de maravilla y las vistas al mar y a la puesta de sol eran simplemente espectaculares. Además, el pequeño balcón con barbacoa fue un verdadero lujo para disfrutar del entorno. Si algún día volvemos a Piha, sin duda nos alojaremos de nuevo aquí. El acceso en coche es algo estrecho y puede resultar complicado maniobrar para aparcar o dar la vuelta, especialmente por la pendiente y la incorporación a la carretera principal.

• Tamara (9/5): Short, comfortable stay with stunning views. - Romantic Piha is located close to town and the beach and has spectacular views of the water from the balcony. It was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities you might want for a short or longer stay. The fridge, aircon were great to have. There was ramp access to the room which was helpful for me as I have limited mobility. It would be accessible for wheelchair users if your chair isn’t too wide for the ramp. There could be a bit better signage on the main road, as we drove past it the first time. The sign isn’t until you have turned off the main road and driven up towards the property. A sign lower down would be helpful.
• Karen (7/5): Stunning view but difficult access - Beautiful view The driveway and parking. Advice should be given regarding parking and the size of car able to park in the allocated space. The pictures are not representative and favour the larger of the two properties. Romantic Piha is very compact with very little space to store luggage. The whole apartment needs some care and attention. No cereal bowls! Bottom drawer containing lots of left over food needs clearing.

Could happily stay for a week, what a beautiful spot, everything we needed was supplied, everything was clean, bed was super comfy, no complaints! Will bring the tribe with us next 👌❤️

• Judy (9/5): Romantic Piha was our last stop of our 9 week NZ adventure. The view was gorgeous and Piha’s proximity to Auckland made - The view was lovely. There were no soup/cereal bowls. There were a lot of leftovers in the bottom drawer of the kitchen that could have been cleaned out…3 containers of salt and no pepper for example. We would have liked to walk to the village but walking on the road was too dangerous. We found the suite too small for us. We’d been travelling for 9 weeks so had 3 suitcases, 2 daypacks, a cooler bag and a dry food bin. It would be perfect though for a romantic weekend trip.

• JULIE (9/5): Pleasant stay, clean and tidy - The views were nice It was advertised as a beachfront location. It was uo a hill and not beachfront.
• Dominique (9/5): Wunderschöner Ort. Groß und sehr nah zu Piha. - Sehr geräumig, gut ausgestattete Küche, großer TV, schöne Veranda mit wunderschönem Ausblick. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl und möchte am liebsten nicht mehr weg. Wir planen auf jeden Fall wieder zu kommen bei unserer nächsten Reise. Die Eigentümerin ist auch sehr freundlich. Teilweise etwas verstaubt (Babykot im Schrank) - aber nicht schlimm, wird bestimmt äußerst selten verwendet. Und es gab keine Vorhänge im Hauptschlafzimmer - da wars schon sehr hell in der Früh, wir hatten zum Glück unsere Schlafmasken mit.

Well equipped, lovely appliances and comfy bed! Couple of minor maintenance tweaks could be make. A few melted cooking implements, the toilet didn't flush well.

• Kristina (6/5): - Sehr schöne Aussicht In der Spüle lagen noch die Essensreste des Vorgängers. Zudem waren auf dem Bettlaken ein paar Flecken. Die Anfahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich und man sollte sein Auto gut beherrschen. Mit einem Pickup wird man meiner Meinung nach die Unterkunft gar nicht erreichen können, da die Auffahrt extrem eng und die Wendemöglichkeit sehr kurz ist.

• Dobby (9/5): - Uitzicht schitterend, rustig wauw, alles aanwezig en super proper.. ook alles duidelijk aangegeven. Viel niet tegen, maar de oprit ernaar toe is wel steil, en parkeren en draaien ook. Ik had 4x4, dus dat ging nog, maar had ook zeer grote auto en was nipt om te draaien

The place it's self was lovely and clean, with everything you would need and more. The fresh milk in the fridge was a lovely touch as there was only one shop nearby and it closed at 4pm. The best bit is most certainly the view!

• Allan (8/5): Not noteworthy - So the property was well appointed and the view out over the mountain and sea was pretty good I think that what the property was costing the hosts could have supplied tea and coffee. Also the wifi connection was incorrect, but I managed to sort that out. Signage on front door needs updating as do hosts messaging. I guess my biggest gripe was the parking which consisted of a narrow entrance into the parking spot, I was driving a small car (Corolla) but even so it caused problems especially with having to reverse out.

• Ann (10/5): Slice of heaven in Piha - The view = unmatched! WOW. Cute little place; nothing fancy, but extra comfy and cozy inside and out. Did I mention the view? Seriously the best one I had in all of my time in NZ. Quiet, private, clean, equipped! Water and milk! Cookies! Comfy furniture. Roomy bathroom. Loved the robes! We booked a photo shoot in Karekare Beach, which is super convenient to this place. Definitely go see Karekare Falls/Beach! I would t hesitate to stay again and again. It was not easy to reach due to road construction on already winding, curvy, elevated roads! Not a quick or easy trip to/from Auckland no matter the time of day. Parking tricky until we did it a time or two.

• Jan (9/5): - Eine traumhafte Lage und toller Ausblick. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und super ausgestattet. Die Einfahrt ist zwar steil aber mit einem Auto überhaupt kein Problem. Es hätte etwas sauberer sein können. Es war sehr staubig in den Ecken und wir fanden einige Haare im Bett und im Badezimmer.
• Brice 46 (7/5): Séjour agréable dans ce logement / trés belle vue, malgrés certaines prestations un peu déceventes - Une trés belle vue sur l'océan depuis la terrasse et la chambre. Literie confortable et logement cosy. Climatiseur poussiéreux, logement assez petit (impression plus petit que sur les photos booking et moins rescent), absence de café pour la machine expresso, four et certains ustensiles de cuisine sales, trés peu de savon pour les mains.

It was so nice we extended our stay Be careful of access onto Piha Rd. Piha has limited facilities so bring your own food and grog.
• Norman (8/5): Romantic & very isolated. Bring your own food - The location is outstanding but it is hard to find. Must study the instructions very carefully & have good GPS. Must arrive in daytime, otherwise you will not find it. You must buy your own food to cook. No restaurant around unless you reserve & know the town well. It’s a hidden place, good for romance. Very isolated Much difficulty to find despite excellent GPS in my car. Even local taxi driver did not know & pointed us the opposite way. No easy place to buy food to cook or even takeout, especially on weekends and special day . Places close early. Once you check in yourself you would not go out after sunset as the road outside is dangerous

Even though there is another unit on site it feels separate and private due to the layout with the garage between the two units. It was well equipped and clean. The driveway was narrow and parking spots required you to reverse to a turning area. It might be tough with a large vehicle. We soon got used to it and it was worth it to stay somewhere so special.
