• Brandon (10/5): All depends on the property owner you rent from. - The condo I was in, was in an okay condition, the door was old so you have to lift up to close it or slam it. I was not able to wash my clothes since the washer did not operate, once you turn on the water, it's spraying everywhere. The TV was an old one so it only had cable in Thai, lastly it had roaches, and I had to borrow bug spray from a friend since her condo had multiple bottles, so I'm assuming that might be an issue in other rooms. I had two other friends who stayed at this property as well, who had Netflix, and just overall better rooms, in a better condition. They also had an easier check in, where their agent left the key card in mailbox, as to when I arrived, during the proper time stated in the instructions, I had to wait for like 30 minutes to get my key card. I enjoyed the location, and the Base is nice, just wish I had a better condo. Good cleaning crew, nice pools, and the gym was okay.
• Derek (2/5): - The building was nice and clean but I was unable to get into my hotel the first night I was there and had to rent another hotel for the night and had to pay for it and would like to be re inburst asap.
• David (8/5): - The Base Central Pattaya is a condo building so you are not staying in a hotel room but a short term rental on a private condo. The property is composed of two buildings. Building A has the roof top pool, while Building B has a 3rd floor pool, as well as, a fitness room, a children's’ room and a roof top common area. All of the common areas like the lobby, elevators and halls are not air conditioned, so the only AC is in your room. Check In is very different. The owner will contact you and have his housekeeper or agent meet you to let you in. There is a guardhouse that you cannot pass until the housekeeper/agent has you processed with security. This means the property is off limits to non-guests so it makes it very safe. My owner, Mr. Peng was most gracious and helpful. His unit was comfortable and clean. It included separate AC units in the living room and bedroom, so it was very comfortable. There is a washer on the patio and places to hang dry your clothes. This was very helpful as it was Songkran. If you don’t mind the lack of a reception desk and restaurant/bar amenities, it is a good option to stay comfortably and at a great value. Finally, the property is short distances from the beach, a shopping mall, plenty of restaurants, bars, massages and convenience stores. It’s a partying part of town, so be prepared. The great thing about the property is that it is sheltered enough so your unit will be quiet and you won’t be assaulted by street sounds all day.
• Vincent (8/5): - Great condo. 2 towels provided with shampoo and shower gel. Not much of a sea view. The curtain in the kitchen was broken. There is no TV is the living room. Saw a Gecko in the condo. Apart from this, the condo is fit for purpose.
• jenning (8/5): - Nice condo in center of actions, yet quite enough to sleep. Definitely good option for longer stay. 31st floor roof deck and infinity pool awesome! Finally able to do some laps. Only complaint is very hard bed, personal preference. Told owner to have a mattress topper in closet so people who like softer bed can just put it on. Next time a month long stay and can definitely see myself in that condo again.

• Mark (10/5): - The location is as good as it gets in Pattaya. The Base is right in the middle of all the action. The property is a condo style with no front reception or daily cleaning in the price. We stayed for a week and I'd stay again. Organising the key and the return was an easy process.

Lack of communication prior to check in unacceptable. Had to chase through hotels.com. Condo is clean but needs full upgrade. No TV in either bedroom. No iron. No furniture on the small balcony. Curtain in main bedroom only a partial blind. Needs a proper curtain for privacy and block out sunlight. Not enough cups and glasses. Only one glass… bed mattress in second bedroom very hard. Only one keycard provided which means when you leave room aircon goes off as keycard needed on entry to power them. Internet worked well.

• Emmanuel (2/5): - Property has no reception, owned by Chinese people only contact through whatsapp. Waited an hour for reply, like so many others in same predicament. Room floors still wet on arrival, small cloth lounge smelt like a dogs bed stunk. Beware travellers avoid this place only money making scheme no standards.

L’hôte est très réactif via WhatsApp’s et répond à toute nos demandes. Vous disposez d’une wifi avec fibre rien qu’à vous donc idéal pour travailler à distance. RAPPORT QUALITÉ\PRIX IMBATTABLE. • Edward (4/5): - Given, this property is not a hotel, it is a high turnover condo rental in a busy entertainment area in Pattaya. However, for a property that is only 6 years old, the unit maintenance and quality is well below expectation. Leaky air conditioning wall units, peeling wall paper, poor condition appliances, old fashion lock and key on the unit door, ants in the kitchen and rooms, holes in the bathroom door, dry rot from water damage in the cabinetry, etc. are some of the issues encountered. Communication with the host staff was challenging, with no English or Thai spoken by the Chinese housekeepers. Finally, on a positive note, the view from this 20th floor unit is spectacular. The location of The Base is perfect for shopping and entertainment. In spite of this, would not stay again.

• Zack (8/5): - It was short stay at The Base Condo, However I was very impressed the property to compare with price and location with well-known Hotels, such as Hard Rock, Mercure, Grand Mercure, Amari , Holiday Inn etc. I have got a very good rate which is on Saturday only 1500 baht (include vat). The owner of room was very kind, even we communicate via google due to the barrier of language. Thank you to you Owner. However, please avoid the weekend due to Many tourists such as Chineses, Indians and Rusian. Only 3 evalators...It's jammmmmmmmmmmmm Thank you.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - This is not a hotel, it’s a private property that is rented out. For example, there was only one roll of toilet paper for the whole stay. I had to ask for the place to come get clean. It does not look like the pictures. No extra stuff is provided like a hotel.
• Raphael (4/5): Good location but - (1) Check in was outside McDonalds where i was handled the key and told to go in that direction. No address or help getting there. (2) Upon arrival, saw the sign indicating the rental i just paid for is illegal. But many other guests coming in and out with their luggage. (3) Room safe is not working/available to use. Told as fact, no reason or alternative given. Was not able to lock up my passport or laptop. (4) TV and Cable has many channels but only in Thia, Chinese and Korean. (5) Both Pillows have very little fill left. Not good to sleep on. (6) Toilet has a lot of mold, room smells musty. (7) Toilet has slow leak, puddle in corner. (8) Building alarm rang at 0400 hours on day 1 and 0030 hours on day 2 etc. (9) Photos in listing is combination of 2 units. There are 2 towers in the complex. (10) Wifi in room and air conditioning works well.

• Derek (8/5): Good stay but some suggested mprovements - Over all the stay was fine although there could be a few improvements regarding the stay. The check in could be improved and better arranged. When I arrived at the apartment I was told to return at 14:00 which was fine at part of the check in policy. I went to eat and spent the day at the beach and returned at 14:: as requeated. I was sent to macdonalds 100 meter down the road where i just came from so it would have been better to meet at the apartment security barriers and never at a macdonalds restuarant. Once i go the key for the room everything was fine with the apartment. The only other improvement would have been to have a second key and key card for the apartment which is easier if couples separate and go back to the room easily. We had the daughter with us so when i returned later she had to go down and let me thought the security door and key card the lift. On the positives the room was fine and had everything required for the stay. The apartment block was clean and well presented and good level of security.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Room was fine, bedroom A/C leaks, balcony is tiny. - The Base Central Pattaya is well located, However there are signs everywhere around the property saying that short term rentals are illegal! Also these signgs say that the person staying in a short term rental will be prosecuted!! I would estimate that over 50% of the units are rented short term judging by the volume of people entering and leaving with luggage! Around 90% of the short term visitors are Chinese ans the owner of the unit in which we stayed (Building B, 10th floor room 764) was Chinese. I had to pick up the keys at a McDonalds close to the Base. The TV in the room was all in Chinese so useless to my wife and I.
• Stany (4/5): 位置近極佳，但軟件極差！ - 楼主裝有小米盒子，極貼心！ 不足是主人房窗鎖斷掉，消燈，窗簾破爛！ 水力細，沒有換毛巾服務請註明，如果我住一個月呢？ 泳池職員不友善，可能岐視我們不是住客！原因是有小朋友在嬉水發生笑声，但遭到職員呼叫！但當時環境只有有十數人，之後還想用手電拍照！ 本人十分反感及不滿！
