Guest Reviews
Danke!
- peter (10/5): Wonderful - Quintessential Irish hospitality with excellent food Nothing everything was perfect
- marion (10/5): A perfect stay, thank you Hannah. - My 2nd stay and just as perfect as the first time. A beautiful home and gardens with a warm welcome, lovely atmosphere and incredibly delicious food. Always great company at the dinner table. Absolutely nothing.
- Aisling (10/5): Beautiful old country house! - Such a beautiful place to stay. I stayed here between working and it was so comfortable and charming. It is a 1700s country house and its character is still felt. Thank you to Hannah and Marie who I met. The breakfast was so beautiful. The atmosphere; quaint. I would love to return!

- Jennifer (10/5): Beautiful manor/grounds and gracious owner/staff - Roundhouse was wonderful! Gorgeous grounds, beautifully maintained old manor, delicious and generous breakfast. The owner and her husband were gracious and so friendly as well as their staff. We checked in a bit late (8pm) and were greeted with lovely tea in the drawing room before going to bed. Don't miss a visit to the beautiful library on the property that the owner's father built! Rooms very spacious and comfortable. They have the cutest dog that greeted us upon arrival as well! I am a travel advisor and plan to book clients here when booking Ireland travel. Nothing!! Just the fact that we didn't plan better to be able to stay 2 nights OR at least have arrived earlier to enjoy the grounds and a walk.
- Friedrich (8/5): Tolle Erfahrung in einem alten Herrenhaus. Man muss jedoch Abstriche beim Komfort machen. -
- Timothy (10/5): It is, by far, the best B&B I have ever stayed at in Ireland in over 14 years of visiting - You can not ask for a more idyllic setting for a manor house. Perfect in every way

- Colm (10/5): - Great welcome . Beautiful house in lovely setting
- Mike Gibbs (8/5): - friendly staff and good food
- Sandra (10/5): Magical, extraordinary! You are missing out if you don’t stay here! - The Roundwood House is the most magical place! You become immersed in the history of the time in this beautiful manor because the old home is filled with so many historical paintings, furniture and books. The library is something to be experienced! The drawing room with the fire in the fireplace was so cozy. Hannah and Paddy are wonderful . The dinner was incredible. We met the most interesting fellow travelers. This stay has become perhaps the best one on our three week trip. I didn’t want to leave!
- Graham (10/5): -
- richie (10/5): Excellent stay, with great hospitality and unique old feel of grandure - Excellent full Irish breakfast -coeliac friendly , classic old world charm
- maribé (9/5): - Old world atmosphere, lovingly cared for by owners. Lots of books to browse and lovely welcome with tea and homemade flapjacks. The dinner was excellent too.

- Romain (10/5): Travel back in time at roundwood house - Roundwood House is truly exceptional, a gorgeous historic property that is beautifully maintained and decorated with impeccable taste. From the moment you step inside, you feel as though you’ve been transported back in time.
What truly elevates the experience is the warmth and graciousness of Hannah and Paddy, who welcomed us into their estate with genuine kindness and hospitality. Their passion for the house and its history shines through in every detail.
The food surpassed all expectations, every dish was carefully prepared, delicious, and memorable. The grounds are breathtaking and an absolute pleasure to wander; calm, quiet, and full of charm at every turn. It is the perfect place to disconnect, relax, and soak in a truly magical atmosphere.
We left already dreaming of our return and without a doubt we will be back again.

We loved meeting other guests and taking walks on the grounds with Fauna, the puppy. Breakfast was delicious—you can really tell how much care goes into preparing the food. Family group on a tour of Ireland. The kids loved roaming the property, chasing the chickens. The food was fabulous. We had a private dinner which everyone loved. The owners were attentive to various food allergies. The breakfast was yogurt with granola and then full Irish breakfast if you wanted. Good Irish tea
