When I checked out on 3/7/2026, the property said all were good and my pre-authorisation deposit of A$200 would be reversed shortly. It's now 5 days and I still have not received my deposit back. • Fiona (10/5): I was really happy with everything having booked online from other side of country. - The reception checking in after very long trip was so accommodating & understanding. Room was perfect for my needs. Having growing up in WA yet haven't been back for 22yrs I loved to see old memories from my balcony, I long ago worked just a few blocks down Murray St. Remote control & tv outdated to what I'm use to. I'm not technology savvy like many may be. Perhaps some meal options like You Foods or similar, microwavable but hot nourishes small meal, far more desirable than cup noodles.

• Letton (7/5): Good quality and value accomodation close to city. - We didn't make the most of all the facilities, but the room was clean, well-appointed and tastefully decorated. Location very handy 10-15 minute walk to city. Parking (as for all city-based accommodation). Its offered but at a cost.

• Luke (8/5): Great facilities and location but needs some maintenance - The staff are very friendly and helpful the upstairs gym, pool and bbq are my favourite places to hide The king bed was two singles pushed together with a sheet over the top. The furniture and carpet had stains, the fly screen sliding mesh was ripped at the bottom. Toilet bottles were empty in the bathroom. Tv had no signal and wasn't usable

• Michael (9/5): Good base for a short Perth stay if don’t need to be too central - Good size twin room with ample space in the galley kitchen. Laundry facilities in room. Pool and gym looked great but didn’t have time to use them. Quiet area with not much going on. But at least convenient for buses into city centre and trains.
• Karyn (3/5): My experience at the Sebel Perth was possibly the worst hotel experience I have ever had in over 40 - The footpath at the Main Entrance was littered with large and dangerous shards of broken glass. I pointed it out to the reception desk twice ... about 12 hours apart ... and no steps were taken to clean up the broken glass. In my room, I.stepped in chunks of plastic in 3 different locations, suggesting the floor had not been vacuumed. Also there was no free to air TV. The only free news option was cable American news ( and other awful American cable tv shows). Without a Netflix or Paramount account (that you need to faff about logging into) there is effectively no TV.

• Judith (8/5): Good location in apartments which are adequate for two people. - The location is good and easy to find. The receptionist was helpful. The room was clean and spacious enough. The beds were comfortable and the pillows adequate. The kitchenette was well equipped. We couldn't find any ABC chanels on the TV. The receptionist couldn't help us either.

• Rudi (7/5): Ruhiges Hotel mit wesentlichen Problemen - Bett ok, aber Bettdecke unbrauchbar, zu warm. Dusche ok, Schwimmbad gross. Tisch und Stuehle zum Essen fehlen, Feuermelder ist inaktiviert, Balkontuer nicht verschliessbar, die Chipkarte fuer den Aufzug/Zimmerzugang geht nicht und muss immer wieder neu freigegeben werden, Geschirrhandtuch fehlt. Boden um den Pool sehr sehr rutschig, ungewöhnlich für die Poolumgebungsbefliesung, die eine höhere Rutschklasse benötigt.

• Amyn (9/5): Good location, great rooms and excellent staff!!! - The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and as a result will definitely look to stay there on my next visit. I think they can be more transparent about the cost of parking; it says parking is chargeable but I believe it should be complimentary. If parking needs to be charged AUS$ 25 is steep.

• Mark (4/5): It served its purpose, we will not be staying there again. - The Sebel was easy to find and the staff were very friendly and accomodating. Our first room smell awful, they were able to change us but it wasn't a great start. The beds and pillows are very cheap and uncomfortable. The facilities are old and tired.

I was left isolated and very frustrated - Pool was great and as expected Bed was comfortable Shower was excellent Washing and Drying machines were very good and easy to use Room was not ready when I arrived Waited 45 mins only to find a towel in the fridge - being defrosted - front staff confirmed that was the case, even after they went up to check the room to ensure it was ready for me enter the room. No one advised that they had turned the fridge to the coolest setting therefore when I brought my food back to the room, the next day all items were frozen uneatable food, waste of time and money Extremely disappointing, hence the ratings Photos on Booking.com showed the room would have a view, definitely not the case - extremely disappointing - room was on the first floor Furniture was very worn Lights would flicker The pool was the only reason I continued to stay for the duration of my booking

• D'mello (4/5): - No bottled water in fridge. No coffee pods with limited sugar. I booked online via booking .com . 1 room for myself and older son. I requested and booked 1 studio room with 2 single beds. Upon arrival receptionist stayed twin bed request did not come through on my booking so I would have to pay an extra 50 dollars for a room that had a single bed.. not happy as specifically requested 2 beds when booked.
