The room has everything you need and is very clean. The location is central. The hotel has a restaurant with very tasty food, and breakfast is excellent. Perfect place to start the Camino.

• stwalsh (8/5): A very good hotel let down by their breakfast arrangements - Location was very good being next to the Camino France route. A good restaurant was attached to the hotel providing a reasonable evening meal menu. The breakfast was a little chaotic being supplied by the attached restaurant but not exclusively for hotel guests, who only had the use of a private dining room.

The matras should have been replaced years ago. Also, the water tasted bad. This place was the worst value for money so far on the camino.

Downstairs they have a restaurant/bar where you can both have dinner (great value for money) and breakfast the day after from 6AM (best tostada I had so far). This made the place very very convenient.

Cuenta con muy buenas instalaciones, muy bien equipado, y hasta lavadora secadora en el sótano para los que vamos peregrinando. 100% recomendable Nada

• Christine (10/5): Wonderful start to the Camino! Definitely recommend Hotel Novoa. - This is a lovely place and so happy we chose it for our stop in Sarria, before we started our Camino. Rooms were clean and spacious. Location was excellent, and staff was very friendly and helpful.

• Kevin (8/5): Excellent mid-price hotel when starting the camino - This is a good, modern hotel right beside the camino and includes a café that was hugely popular with peregrinos at breakfast time. It’s also probably the safest hotel in Spain, being directly opposite the police station! The room was generously sized, the beds were comfortable and the shower was excellent. We had breakfast in the café, which was good and very reasonably priced. No negatives
