You have a wonderful team filled with genuine hospitality and warmth. I would like to sincerely thank Mr. Vu, the buggy driver, who enthusiastically took us around the resort and made the experience very enjoyable. Ms. Thuong at the Front Desk was incredibly helpful and supportive throughout our stay. Ms. Nhan at the Spa gave one of the most relaxing massages I’ve had — she is truly skilled and professional. Special thanks as well to Tu and the two trainees at the swimming pool. They kindly helped us arrange spa appointments and prepare bicycles for us. They were all very friendly and approachable. At the restaurant and lounge, Canh, Uyen, Hanh, and Hiep were exceptionally welcoming and attentive. They always greeted us warmly, proactively checked on us, and made us feel genuinely cared for. I also want to thank the housekeeping team, especially Nhan and Thu, for always keeping our room clean, comfortable, and beautifully arranged. I hope I haven’t missed anyone, because every interaction with the team was wonderful. Thank you so much to the entire team for making our stay such a lovely and unforgettable experience. The staff was outstanding, genuinely kind, attentive, and always willing to help in a way that felt natural and not forced. The grounds are absolutely stunning, beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed in a way that makes you want to slow down and take it all in. The pool area is just as impressive, peaceful, scenic, and the perfect place to relax. Even the gym stands out, well-equipped, clean, and a great space to keep up a routine while traveling. One of the highlights of our trip was the hike to the pagoda and temple with Quang Minh. It was such a special experience, and he made it even better with his knowledge and energy. Our spa experience was also excellent. Lan Hoang was incredibly knowledgeable and intuitive, and it showed in every part of the treatment. I’ve really tried to think of anything that could be improved, and the only small detail would be having something like a bubble bath or mineral salts available for the bathtub in the room. That would be a nice added touch. Overall, it was a beautiful and memorable stay. We will absolutely be recommending this property to our clients, and we truly hope to return one day.

Both were done by Lan Hoang, who did an amazing job. She has the firm hand necessary for a good massage, and is a fast and precise expert at haircare. My hair is 3 feet long, and usually takes 1 hour to blow dry. She washed, rinsed, AND dried my hair in under an hour! I was so satisfied, and happy to report that I'm having two more spa treatments today, which I will review later. (Note: I wrote the same review on Google)

The walk through Ngoc Hoa Stream, the bamboo forest, and the beautiful natural surroundings was peaceful, refreshing, and truly memorable. A special thank you to Hieu, Linh, Huy, and Tu for taking such great care of our group. Their warmth, professionalism, and support made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Through their service, we could truly feel their passion for their work and their pride in the brand and product they deliver. - 279christabelt (10/5): Melia Ba Vi mountain retreat spa - The spa at the mountain retreat is incredible. We have has some amazing masseuses. Hang, Hue and Nuhe are professional and very thorough. This is a must place to visit on your trip to Vietnam. 🇻🇳

Upstairs had a bedroom with two beds and a bathroom. Downstairs had another bedroom and a sitting area and another bathroom. Rooms did not have doors. We liked everything

Although the complimentary tour is just 30 minutes, the guide’s enthusiasm and attention made it exceptional. Stayed for 3 nights with a friend to have a relaxing finish to our busy Hanoi trip Great spa with brilliant massage therapist (Huê was the massage therapist who did my treatment and was fantastic), huge territory to explore. You are surrounded by nature and can do some short hikes The breakfast in the hotel was one of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend

Also Vǔ took us on a tour around the resort to see all of the amazing structures remains of the French. He was patient, explained everything beautifully and was super nice. Thank you for everything!

Our first course for dinner was beautiful with the fabulous fresh flavours we were hoping for. However the main course was a little disappointing. Breakfast was good apart from the quality of the fresh fruit platter / selection. The fruit had been cut and kept refrigerated for too long and was very dry and hard to

Breakfast was very good and had a expansive selection. There was construction during our stay starting at 730am. Also, charging for water seems wrong considering the price.

- 1926yanks (10/5): An Amazing Getaway - This resort is on a mountaintop that has a dense jungle feel to it. Most amazing is that it is only about a 90-minute drive from Hà Nội. This Meliá blends with the ruins of a French retreat from the 1930s & is very understated. The restaurant has a large menu for dinner, which is good because the resort is quite isolated. The meals were excellent. I had the crab rolls twice, fish in the clay pot, among other dishes. The coffee cafe was another great place to hang out. The breakfast buffet is excellent, & the two-story building housing 2 restaurants is very nice. The sleeping room is big. I was actually moved to an even bigger room when mine had some WiFi issues. It’s so peaceful here! The swimming pool is in a stunning jungle location, & the water was kept very warm. I also used the jacuzzi & sauna. (Steam room & massage spa services are here too.) Melia knows how to run hotels. This is the 3rd one I’ve stayed in Việt Nam. I just wish the tour of the ruins had a guide who spoke some English! But the staff is friendly & supportive. The resort is not cheap. But it provides for a memorable stay. The setting is quite amazing.

- H8768OWsarahh (10/5): Sign up for the tour in Meliá with Daniel, great tour guide - The service was lovely, and a special highlight for me was the tour of the hotel grounds with Daniel our young tour guide on 2 nov at 9am. (there are fixed timings for the tour, so do book it in advance with the front counter so they can cater enough space.) Daniel spoke both English and Vietnamese fluently, catering well to both the Vietnamese and English speaking visitors. He was skillful with the buggy despite the wet rainy conditions, and he was able to share about ba vi's history skillfully and able to answer all questions.
