Guest Reviews
- Alice (10/5): - Good stay
- Tracie (10/5): - Cam was amazing and made me feel very welcome.
The room is for 1 or a couple and had everything you need.
The is no restaurant but the Nags head was a 5 min walk away.
Breakfast was very relaxing and delicious.
Bow the new poodle was adorable and very entertaining.
- anita (10/5): - Spacious, private accommodation with own outdoor seating area. Large bathroom with great rainfall shower and heated towel rail. Bed is very comfortable. We had a very warm welcome by Camille and her cute dog Bo. Fabulous breakfast with fresh fruit and yoghurt beautifullly presented followed by an excellent cooked breakfast. Camille was also very helpful with local attractions. Great gastro pub a 4 minute walk down the hill. Would thoroughly recommend staying at the B&B.
- Sara (10/5): Home from home - Loved the garden suite. Home from home. We & our two dogs were made to feel very welcome. Complete privacy & our very own terraced garden. Camile our host was so very friendly & little Beau the poodle too ❤️
- Ross (10/5): - Excellent service, room and breakfast. Can definitely recommend
- Ross (10/5): Overall excellent - Excellent accommodation, service and food.
Would definitely recommend this place.
- Suzanne (10/5): Dog friendly high quality B & B - A wonderful high quality service at Highbury Garden Suite B &B. The owner was a fabulous hostess, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was superb, a beautiful plate of fresh fruit followed by a full welsh breakfast with fruit juice toast and fresh coffee. A huge plus for us too is it's properly dog friendly; a safe, private courtyard garden area and the owner's pup was absolutely adorable! We will definitely come here again .
- Adrian (10/5): Little Gem - We stayed 1 night and were so impressed. We were met by the host on arrival and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely room and bathroom, comfortable bed. The breakfast table as amazing, attention to detail excellent. We will be returning.
- Jason (10/5): - The suite is private, comfy and a little oasis of calm, which is exactly what we needed on a stressful house hunting trip. Camille is super sweet, helpful with tips and fixes an amazing breakfast that will keep you going well into lunch time. We appreciated everything she had to offer, and we particularly were thankful we could have our dog with us who was welcomed just as much as we were.
- Gillian (10/5): Awesome B&B - We had a wonderful overnight stay at the Highbury, we couldn't have wished for better. It's in a lovely location and everything about it was awesome from check in through to check out and Camille was the perfect hostess. Presentation and attention to detail was 2nd to none and it was spotlessly clean. My husband and I were made very welcome and would like to return there sometime in the future.
- Craig (10/5): Perfect spot for a relaxing break. - We had a lovely, relaxing 3 night stay at the Highbury Garden Suite.
Everything about it was just perfect.
A beautiful house in a gorgeous spot close to the river.
The owners, Camille and Dave pay so much attention to detail and were so charming.
Thank you.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Friendly welcome. Peaceful location. On site parking. Lovely breakfast. Good pub food within about 200m. Comfy bed. Nice little “courtyard” area. Close to coast and inland. Overall, great location to use as a base to explore from.
- Anthony (10/5): Don't hesitate, book it! - This was a great experience! Camille has a single suite and is a delightful host and very accommodating. The room is very comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous. My favorite moment was when it started to rain and she knew we were going out to the local restaurant, Camille appeared at the door with umbrellas! Also very dog friendly!
- Toni (10/5): Lovely B&B - What a lovely, comfy, welcoming B&B. Camille was very welcoming, going out of her way to provide a very comfortable stay. The little private garden was great for an evening glass of wine..
- Julie (10/5): Fabulous B & B! - Our host was so welcoming. We enjoyed a beautiful bedroom, private living room and garden. The breakfast was delicious and was accompanied by Welsh harp music. The location is superb for a getaway to the lovely Welsh countryside. We appreciated the kindness and friendliness of our host. Definitely recommended!
- Tracy (10/5): Fabulous room with private courtyard - Cam and Dave couldn’t have made us more welcome. The room was lovely with a courtyard to enjoy the weather. It even had a cover in case of rain. The breakfast was fabulous as Cam only uses top quality food. If we go back to the area we wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
- martyn (10/5): excellent - quick stop over as in area with work. place was very comfortable and quiet. very good welcome and service. Excellent breakfast. good wifi. really good pub with good food a couple of hundred metres away.
