• Laurent (10/5): Fantastic place - Nice, clean and confortable place. The owners are really helpful. And the location in the heart of the village is perfect.
• Laura (8/5): - De locatie lag op loopafstand van het centrum van Ella op een korte steile heuvel, waardoor je wel in de rust zit. De kamer was erg groot evenals het balkon. Het balkon heeft tevens mooi uitzicht op Ella rock en fijne zitjes. Het ontbijt wat optioneel is bij te bestellen is erg uitgebreid en lekker. De was kan hier worden gedaan en de familie denkt met je mee als je vragen hebt of vervoer nodig hebt. De douche was de beste die we in Sri Lanka hebben gehad en de kamer was schoon. Het bed was erg hard. Verder hebben we de familie niet veel gezien, ze zochten ons niet proactief op maar als wij een vraag hadden reageerden ze vrijwel direct en ze dachten in alle opzichten met ons mee.

• Norbert (10/5): Sehr schöne und freundliche Unterkunft in guter Lage mit super Frühstück - Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, die sich bemühen, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Wir hatten ein SEHR großzügiges und sehr sauberes Zimmer mit einem tollen Blick auf Ella Rock von unserem Balkon. Die Lage fanden wir auch sehr gut: Etwas abseits am Hang gelegen aber man ist in wenigen Minuten den Berg runter mitten im Zentrum. Außergewöhnlich reichhaltig und lecker war das Frühstück und wir konnten uns das Essen, das wir nicht mehr geschafft haben, einpacken und mitnehmen.

We liked the location because it's a bit removed from the busy main street. The staff was always friendly and responsive. Overall we had a very good stay.
• Lena (10/5): Sofort wieder - alles ausgezeichnet! - Wie waren 3 Nächte da. Das Zimmer war sehr groß mit einem tollen Balkon mit Blick auf den Ella Rock. Auch das Badezimmer war sehr groß. Es war alles sehr schön gemacht und sehr sauber. Die Familie war super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir mieteten einen Roller in der Unterkunft und für die Weiterfahrt wurde uns ein Fahrer organisiert. Dass Frühstück war klasse, typisch sri-lankisch mit frischem Obst, Saft, Kaffee usw.. es war so ausreichend dass wir uns jedes Mal den Rest einpacken ließen, für unsere Ausflüge. Wäsche waschen hat auch sehr gut funktioniert. Würden sofort wieder hier übernachten.

The host family is the sweetest and most welcoming – they all met us upon arrival to help carry the luggage up the street, and they also arranged taxi service for us both to and from Ella. They were also super responsive in our communication. And don’t get me started on the breakfast – I am still dreaming about it! All in all an amazing stay, I would without a doubt stay here again if I ever return to Ella. Nothing

• Alyssa (10/5): Wonderful owners, beautiful room and great shower! - We stayed in a few different spots in Ella and we booked Little Paradise our last night to be closer to town and we are so glad we did. The family is so lovely, the room was great and the shower was the absolute best we’ve had on the trip!! Hot shower with lots of water pressure. Breakfast was plentiful and the host even gave us takeout containers to bring the rest of our food on our drive with us. Quick walk to town, a bit uphill but that was totally fine with us. Would highly recommend booking this place!

• Sebastian (8/5): Hat gepasst. - Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich, die Terrasse hat mit schönen Ausblick überzeugt. Die Gastgeber waren freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist am Hang und normalerweise mit dem Tuktuk zu erreichen. Das Frühstück ist üppig und gut gewesen. Das Zimmer ist sehr kahl und wirkt nicht so gemütlich wie wir es bisher von anderen Unterkunften kennengelernt haben. Um das Haus herum haben viele Bauarbeiten stattgefunden und es war generell einfach morgens sehr laut.
• Florian (10/5): Die beste Wahl, um in Ella zu übernachten - Der homestay wird von einer Familie betrieben, die wirklich sehr herzlich ist. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Der Balkon und der Ausblick in die nächstgelegenen Berge war genial und das Zimmer mit dem tollen queensize Bett sehr gemütlich. Es war der perfekte Ort, um auszuruhen!
• Dipankar (9/5): Best Home stay and great food - Amazing hosts, basic but well thought of facilities which we didn't really expected in a homestay. Shaneela, her mom and other family members were very warm and accommodating. We wanted to have authentic Lankan dinner and they happily fed us with a small charge. Breakfast too was good. They have a small but well equipped kitchen which we used to cook baby food. We really had a great stay! Location is little steep and difficult to reach.

It was like home away from home. The family that run the place have to be some of the nicest people I’ve met in Sri Lanka, they went above and beyond, nothing was too difficult. The room (deluxe double) was super specious and clean, and the balcony with the view just phenomenal! Walking distance to all restaurants and cafes. The hosts were the most friendliest and accommodating people ever! They made sure we had everything we needed, made a fantastic and huge breakfast every morning. They even helped us out when we had a small tuktuk accident and organised someone to pick us up immediately. Would stay here again and can 100% recommend to anyone!!! Nothing really. A bit hard to find/ pretty steep hill to get to the accommodation, but nothing that can’t be managed.

• Yvonne carole (9/5): A caring family environment - The location is out of town and very quiet. The family are very kind and helpful. The breakfast was very generous and, as I'd not been well they made me a special bland breakfast. From my patio I could see lots of beautiful birds and cheeky chipmunks tight rope walking along the wires. The shower was very sci fi with lots of hot water. Lovely clean and fresh sheets and towels and a fan if you feel hot. The only small point for me was the lighting in the bedroom, it's a very pretty blue/pink light but I found it difficult to see.

What really made the stay special was the kindness of the staff – always welcoming, smiling, and ready to help with anything. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, enjoyed with a beautiful view. It really felt like home away from home, and we would love to return one day.

Tienen la terraza con vistas a Ella Rock. Esta muy cerca del centro, perfecta ubicación no necesitas el tuck tuck. Zona bastante tranquila. Tiens que subir una cuesta bastante empinada, pero sino tienes problemas de movilidad, no hay problema.

Das Bett ist groß und gemütlich, die Lage und Aussicht ist perfekt, es ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Frühstück ist lecker und die Portion ist so groß, dass die Gastgeber es für uns immer für später eingepackt haben. Außerdem haben uns die Gastgeber Tipps gegeben und uns zu fairen Preisen z.B. zu einer Teeplantage gefragt. Wir waren rundum zufrieden
• Elizabeth (9/5): If you want to be near the centre and not have to get Tuk Tuks to your accommodation, this is a great choice. The rooms - Lovely spacious family room with a balcony and a great view of Ella Rock. Comfortable beds, big bathroom and all very clean. Huge breakfast and a friendly helpful family who will offer advice on travel and suggestions of where to go. The steep hill to walk up is a challenge if you’re not very fit, but it is close enough to walk into town and far enough out not to be noisy, so well worth a bit of puffing! Nothing to dislike.

• olivia (10/5): Best stay in Sri Lanka! - This was our favourite place on our travels through Sri Lanka! The host family were incredible and so welcoming. The rooms were large, comfy and really clean. It's a short walk to the main road of Ella with lots of restaurants, bars and shops but its far enough away so you get some peace and quiet! This didn't change our opinion and we would give it 10/10 regardless but the walk from the main road to the accommodation is steep and its not a particularly good road for unfamiliar cars. We were fine with it and tuk tuk drivers could get up it easily but just be warned if you're walking from the station with lots of luggage!

Would highly recommend the cooking class suggested by host (Lanka). Shame we didn't have a room with a view. Short walk from town but very steady hill.

Everything we asked for they helped with great joy! Really close to the center of Ella, but very quiet and pleasant. Highly recommend If you have a lot of luggage, you should note that there is a difficult climb to the house, but the owner helped us with the tuktuk and brought all the luggage.

• hillvanderkooij (8/5): Fijn verblijf voor bezoek aan alle highlights. - Het personeel van deze locatie is erg lief en zeer behulpzaam. De kamer was brandschoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Prachtig uitzicht over de omliggende omgeving. De locatie ligt zeer centraal in Ella en op loopafstand van de hoofdstraat met alle restaurants. Wel een pittige klim op de terugweg (en met de hitte valt dat niet mee). Helaas werden we 's nachts wakker van blaffende honden. Daar kan de accommodatie denk ik weinig aan doen, maar dat verpest wel je nachtrust.
• Robin (10/5): Perfect - Beautiful, recently built spacious rooms with a stunning view of Ella Peak. Very tastefully decorated and the nicest of bathrooms. Great water pressure and hot water. Eating breakfast on the balcony was a real treat. The family who run the room are delightful. Friendly, kind and informative. The homestay is at the top of a steep hill but you can easily get a tuktuk up if you have mobility issues. We stayed at 10 different places in Sri Lanka and this was the best. Impeccably clean. I wish I could have their Sri Lankan breakfast every day for the rest of my life. The location is really good for Little Adam's Peak and the Nine arch bridge. Absolutely nothing. I cannot recommend this homestay enough. Good value.

• Nikky (10/5): Mooie locatie, dichtbij het centrum van Ella. - Je loopt zo het centrum van Ella in, maar zit toch op een mooie, rustige plek met uitzicht op de natuur. Vanuit de locatie kun je ook makkelijk naar Little Adam's peak en de 9 arch bridge wandelen. Als je naar beneden loopt, zit er ook een heerlijk koffietentje 'Çrefals' ook een absolute aanrader! Geen bijzonderheden.

Breakfast was huge and delicious, perfect to start the day. Plus, the owner’s husband with his tuk-tuk was awesome, helping us with great local trips. Felt like home but with all the comforts. Die Lage war für uns optimal. Ruhig am Ortsrand von Ella gelegen konnten wir von dort aus alles zu Fuß erreichen.

The staff went above and beyond with the added touch of decorating our room to celebrate our honeymoon. Our room was newly decorated and had a beautiful view of Ella rock from the balcony on the top floor. Great central location, within walking distance of many points of interest. Tucked away so it is peaceful at night. Staff are incredibly helpful, offering tips on places to visit and local knowledge. They organised Tuktuks trips when needed too. Everything was great!

• Azeez (10/5): An Excellent Homestay, Beyond Expectations - Little Paradise Homestay is really a paradise due to the family friendliness, unbelievable level of hygiene, the facilities availability and quality as well as the tasty big breakfast. It is the best homestay I have stayed in Sri Lanka in, during my vacation. The room and bashroom are spontaneously clean. The bed smells clean and it is comfortable. It has a mosquito net. There are sockets close to the bed for charging. All amenities from fridge, new hear dryer, new kettle, clothes hanger and nail cutter were available in the room. My room (in the ground floor) had a small space in front of it with chairs and table for enjoying the cool fresh air during the night and the morning ( to enjoy breakfast even more). The breakfast was big and with lots of variety to keep you full for a long time.The hosts speak good English and are very informative. I really enjoyed talking to the family and they were really helpful in answering my questions and arranging transportation at reasonable price. Nothing, all was beyond expectation.

Een paar minuten lopen naar het levendige centrum en op loopafstand van de Nine arches bridge en Little Adams Peak. Het was een van onze fijnste overnachtingsplekken. Zoals op veel plekken in Sri Lanka was de directe omgeving niet heel aantrekkelijk: onafgebouwde gebouwen, viezigheid en honden die ook ' s nachts van zich laten horen. Maar goed, dat is zo'n beetje overal zo.
• Marta (8/5): Very clean place with attentive host. - This place is located walking distance to the restaurants and main street, but still in the quiet neighbourhood. Please notice that you have to climb a few minutes to access the place. It is steep. Not a big deal, but if you are with kids, have stroller or a lot of bags I recommend calling them and owner will come with the tuk-tuk. It is very clean and the owners are attentive. Breakfast offer is good including fruits, tea, local dish and European. The view is on the green hill, and you can hear all the ''jungle noise :)'', but before making the reservation check which room you will get. Prior to the trip in some comments I have read about room with the view on some trash field. It is true, although this side of the balcony is covered. This looks nice, but sometimes the smell of burning trash ( and plastic) was keeping us from enjoying the balcony and the view. I know it is not the owners fault, and we were there only 2 nights, but it could be disturbing. I am writing that, believing that maybe the owners can talk to the neighbour. Otherwise this place is really good. The smell of the burning trash from the neighbours.

• Patricia (7/5): Prima! - De ligging was erg goed tov het centrum van Ella. De eigenaren zijn erg aardig en hij heeft ons nog een lift Bas heet station gegeven. Het was super schoon. Het uitzicht aan de zijkant viel echt tegen. Je keek tegen een vervallen gebouw aan.

• Annika (9/5): - Super lieve mensen! Bereid om je met alles te helpen. Schone kamers en een super fijne plek. Je eigen kleine zitplekje. De locatie licht op een super fijne plek! Zeker een aanrader. Het enige minpuntje was dat het snachts bij naar het toilet gaan. Het stonk naar afvoer in de badkamer.
• David (10/5): Wie es der Name verspricht: wirklich ein kleines Paradis in mitten von Ella! - Nachdem unser letztes Hotel eine echte Katastrophe war, konnten wir unser Glück mit dieser Unterkunft nicht fassen. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar. Die Zimmer waren so sauber und alles wirkte sehr neu und renoviert. Wir hatten aus unserem Zimmer eine wunderbare Aussicht um das wirklich leckere Frühstück zu genießen. Die Familie, war so unfassbar freundlich und herzlich nett. Wir fühlten uns extrem wohl und wünschten wir hätten mehr Nächte gebucht gehabt! wirklich Nichts!

Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl - es war einfach perfekt! Obwohl in Gehdistanz zur Mainroad sehr ruhig und erholsam WLAN vorhanden aber sehr schwach
