- Verified traveler (2/5): - We booked through Expedia with no problem and received the usual confirmation email. When we turned up we found that the hotel was closed for the season. Nothing else was open in the area. We had to drive over 2 hours to Toulouse, arriving minutes before the 6pm curfew. Luckily the first hotel we found was open and accepted pets. I called Expedia and was told that hotels are meant to notify them if they are closed, even for one day.
