• russell (9/5): As a traveller the staff were super helpful , went above what was expected , excellent ! - Breakfast was all freshly prepared , great coffee, fresh hot pastries , good tasty selection and hot eggs . Variety of cakes were also more that expected . Great start to the day !! I’m fussy , but at this price point I cannot say anything negative .

• Kelly (10/5): We would definitely stay here again :) - We loved Lecce SO much and what made it even more amazing was the hospitality of the owners of the most beautiful Palazzo Bignami. The location, parking and amenities could not be more perfect but it was the attention to detail in every aspect of this beautiful home and for the guest to enjoy that sets it apart. It truly is a gift to be guest in thier home. They were helpful yet we had our space and privacy. We were even served dinner on the most spacious roof terrace and it was phenomenal. The breakfast menu and dining area were the nicest of our most wonderful two and a half weeks in Southern Italy. I will forever be dreaming on many of thier special dishes and recipes. The staff members were most gracious and respectful. It truly felt like we were very special guest. The accommodations themselves were perfect and the decor and art work, a true surprise. The standards are high and our trip was blessed as were we by our stay at Palazzo Bignami. It would be the only place to consider and we hope to return.

• Lesley (10/5): Beautiful, peaceful stay with wonderful views of Matera - This is a beautiful former monastery that offers a wonderful view of Matera in a perfect location. The owner Massimo is lovely and was helpful in providing ideas for exploration of the area. The breakfast was fabulous and the rooms are full of beauty and character. A lovely place to stay during a trip to Matera.

La décoration est digne d’un magazine de décoration. C’est magnifique. Le petit déjeuner est top et très varié. On se sent accueillis comme chez des amis. Notre chambre était grande et très bien équipée. La difficulté pour trouver une place de parking. Même si l’établissement n’est pas dans la vielle ville, c’est assez compliqué pour trouver une place.

• Mark (9/5): A beautiful and well located place to enjoy a stay in Lecce and quite perfect train travellers. - Everything important about our stay here was excellent. The room was spacious and delightful, great breakfast catering for gluten free needs and the owners and staff lovely. The decor of every room is filled with intersting pieces and art so it all feels very first class and luxurious. Plus "Mini" the tiny maltese terrier was simply gorgeous and entertaining. The location close to the station but on the very edge of the old historic centre of Lecce was perfect for us, quiet but convenient. The roof terrace as a feature seemd to be sparse and undergoing some maintenance with little amenity at present, so we did not take advantage of that.

Freundliches und hilfsbereites Besitzerehepaar. Ganzes B&B mit viel Charme und Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Grosse, für alle zugängliche Terrasse mit Lounges, Stühlen, Schirmen, Liegen und wunderbarer Aussicht. Parkplatz: Man muss sich in der Strasse selber einen weissen Parkplatz suchen. Je nach Tageszeit ein zeitintensives Vorhaben.

Riesengrosse und wunderschöne Terrasse im DG. Das Frühstück wurde mit viel Liebe zubereitet und war das BESTE, dass ich je in Italien geniessen durfte. Im Frühstückraum steht ein grosser Kühlschrank mit diversen verschieden Bier Sorten, Weinen und Mineralwasser zur Selbstbedienung. Den Betrag legt man einfach in die Kasse (wo gibt es sowas noch...). Der Palazzo Bignami verdient glatt eine 10+ Da gibt es nichts zu meckern.....

• Ddurda (10/5): Great place to stay for comfort with an amazing breakfast and parking - Nice big room, comfortable bed, black outs and everything required for a comfortable sleep. The hosts were very nice and took the time to explain place to eat and see. The breakfast was very good with a wide array of things to eat. Street parking can be found around the property. Although the place was well located, it wasn't in the heart of tourist center and some walking was required to get there. Although this was not an issue for a couple like us, single women may find it a little more intimidating. Regardless, we preferred this location as street parking was available around the hotel, which would not be the case in the historic center.

Our room was very well furnished and equipped. The breakfast buffet was a very generous and the owners were very helpful. Curb side parking is easily available and free. I was surprised to understand that this is a BnB and not a hotel with a staffed front desk.

The breakfast was outstanding with everything you could possibly want including 3-4 homemade cakes The aircon in the room was adequate but struggled a little in the heat

• Nicola (9/5): Relaxing place with very friendly hosts. - Lovely property with spacious rooms and large rooftop terrace. The breakfast was served in a lovely dining room and had plenty of choice. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The location is very close, easy walking distance, to the old town. Free parking is available in the nearby streets. Everything was great, there wasn’t anything not to like.
• Sherene (10/5): Look no further as there is nothing better. - This property was exceptional. The location, the rooms, the cleanliness and the owner were amazing. The owners are interior designers from Milan and it shows, there is nothing I could fault. The breakfast was the best I have had at any Airbnb in the world. Look no further as there will be nothing better. That I couldn’t stay longer
• Tina (9/5): Beautiful property with an elaborate breakfast and short distance to train and historic center - Beautifully decorated, well appointed, spotless and roomy bed and bath. Wonderful breakfast, fabulous roof deck for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The owners thought of everything to make your stay special. Rather inflexible check-in time - an additional fee if you hope to check in before the set time of 4pm.
• John (10/5): An excellent base in Lecce. - Palazzo Bignami is well located just outside the old town, no more than a 10 minute walk to the Piazza Duomo. Liana and Enzo provide an excellent breakfast buffet which is included in the room rate. We also enjoyed spending time relaxing on the roof terrace. There was little that could be improved.
• Kamila (3/5): Poor - Location - just next to old town. Big, comfortable room, comfortable bed, clean, elevator for the 2nd floor, Nice terrace on the 3rd floor with sunbeds, showers. Generally ,,highly restricted area,,. IT seems that everything is ok but it doesn't. The atmosphere is tense. One card to the room, the second available only to use air condotion when you are outside for a fee 15 euro per day. Watch if you will loose your card it costs 50 euro - maybe 20 EUR would be ok but 50? O and quoting instructions ,,,it is absolutely forbidden to consume food in the rooms. For this reason, the breakfast room and the terrace on the 3rd floor are available to you until 20.00.,, so when you are back from the sightseeing after 20.00 and you would like to eat anything be descrete or go to sleep hungry 😁🤣 if you like when the owner closly watches you eating breakfast it's place for you. And if you want an orange juice for breakfast pay 2,5 euro. And I forgot one more thing ,, if you get dirty bedspread or decorative cushions you will be charged 20 EUR. Lack of minibar or refigerator. So all these restrictions makes you feell uncomfortable and you can 't feel welcome.
• Christine (9/5): This is a wonderful place to stay while in Lecce! - Beautiful accommodations, extremely clean and very hospitable host. Walkable from the train station and to the old town. Coffee before breakfast would be wonderful

The location of the hotel is between the center and the train station. So it was very easy to walk to the center and the train. It is a boutique hotel. Their dogs are very cute :) Nothing
