- Salina (10/5): Everything about this property exceeded expectations! - Beautiful decorated and appointed. Not a thing - it was perfect!!!
- Erin (10/5): Peaceful, cozy & beautiful! đź©· - The host and the facilities were EXCELLENT! So hospitable in a glorious country setting!!!!! Nothing!
- Jennifer (10/5): Perfect for a short stay in Carlow, perfect for a family and visiting the countryside - We had a lovely two day stay at Lorum Old Rectory while visiting friends in Borris. The owner, Rebecca, was very communicative and flexible on meeting us when we arrived and showed us around the property. The set up at the Stables was perfect for our family of 4 - comfortable, cute and clean. We didn't get to take advantage of the well appointed kitchen, but the hosts left us delicious homemade jam for toast as well as tea and coffee with milk. We also loved getting to see the baby lambs on the property and the beautiful gardens. Next time we visit, we would stay longer!
- Karen (10/5): Best accommodation we've booked in a very long time. - Everything about this place was perfect. The hosts put a lot of care into making The Stables warm, comfortable and welcoming. Instructions to get there were easy to follow, the kitchen was well equipped to prepare meals for the 4 of us and towels were luxurious.
We went on road trips during our week and at the end of the day it felt like coming home. NOTHING!
- Fiona (10/5): Perfect in every way! - Everything!
Beautiful, cosy, clean and welcoming….
This is such a fantastic place to stay.
Very comfortable and warm. A great welcome and lots of thoughtful touches…we wanted for nothing and can’t wait to come back. Nothing at all.
- Dennis (10/5): - Warm, comfortable and very clean rooms, very spacious with all the amenities. The kitchen area was wonderful and completely set up. The WiFi signal was strong and the TV was great. The setting is not only historic but absolutely beautiful. A great place to stay, I highly recommend it!
- Beth (10/5): A perfect quiet location to enjoy with friends and I would stay here again. Highly Recommend!! - The space was perfect with the kitchen, living room, washer and dryer. Rebecca and Bobbie provided bread and homemade jam that was wonderful and they were so helpful. We also enjoyed seeing the animals on property. We had a perfect stay! The only helpful thing would have been to have some shelving in both upper bathrooms to put our toiletries on as there was room for that (Large bathrooms :-))
- andrew (10/5): Perfection - Great property beautiful setting
- Bruno (10/5): Exceptional - Upon our arrival we received a warm welcome, the house was charming, well-equipped and quiet, a truly relaxing place where you feel good. The +: Arriving on a Sunday, our host had planned everything needed for breakfast the next day, thanks to Rebecca
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional - Rebecca and Bobbie were absolutely amazing! Recommendations from them were great and perfect for us. Rebecca even went out if her way to take us to the next town dir our evening out. The cottage was beautiful! Perfect spot for 4 of us to have our own space and common spaces to get together. The gardens were beautiful and the courtyard area was wonderful for a late afternoon drink or read a book. Babs, the cat, was a sweetie! Listening to the sheep was relaxing. I can't say enough good about the place and the owners. It was the BEST place we stayed on our 30 day trip to Ireland. Thank you Rebeccaand Bobbie!!! It was all great. No negatives from us!
