• Manuela (7/5): Aufenthalt ok - Zimmer riesig und sauber (dafür würde ich 8 Punkte geben, die Betten und das Bad wurden bei 4 Übernachtungen nie geputzt---), direkt davor der Pool und herrlicher Blick aufs Meer. Personal sehr freundlich. Tolle Sonnenaufgänge direkt aus dem Bett zu sehen. In Fußentfernung vereinzelte Restaurants (sehr schwierig wie überall für Vegetarier). In den Ort am besten per Bus oder Scooter, diesen kann man über das Beachhouse ausleihen. The Beachhouse liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße, das kann schon mal sehr laut werden. Der Eingangsbereich ist etwas Besonderes und nicht sehr einladend. Mir hat überhaupt nicht gefallen, dass ein großer und sehr übel riechender Hund überall herumlief, sich immer wieder nah bei mir hinsetzte, überall im Weg lag, vor sich hin stank und leider auch seine Hinterlassenschaften auf der Wiese mit den Liegestühlen hinterließ. Leider gibt es an der großen Bar nachmittags und abends keine Getränke, das ist wohl nur für die Frühstückszeit gedacht. Für den doch vergleichsweise hohen Preis auf Cebu hätte ich mir diese Annehmlichkeiten gewünscht, auch das Frühstück hätte durchaus inklusive sein dürfen. Leider gibt die Lage rundherum nicht viel her, Aufenthalt gut für Pool-Liebhaber geeignet.

• Robert (10/5): Aanrader - Het is een fantastisch hotel. Heel erg schoon en comfortabel. Heerlijke bedden, een grote badkamer en een heel fijn zwembad. Erg leuk is Bleu de bulldog. Een grote kroel baby. Het personeel doet alles om het naar je zin te maken. Het ligt langs de doorgaande weg, het is een kwartier lopen naar het dorp maar eetgelegenheden zijn nabij. Als je een pilsje wilt hebben dan is dat verkrijgbaar en kan je lekker voor je kamer opdrinken. Aanrader.

Adorable chien "Blue" L'absence du patron se faisait sentir, l'ambiance a changé à son arrivée. Nous ont facturé 2 fois la location de 3 jours de scooter. J'ai payé une 1ère fois au loueur (impossible de passer par the Beach House car aucun personnel l'après midi et la soirée pour réserver le scooter). J'ai èté inattentive et hotel m'a à nouveau fait payer la location du scoot au moment du check out.

• Matthias (7/5): - Sehr freundliches Personal. Hinter dem Haus direkt am Meer mit Zugang über eine Treppe. Swimmingpool direkt vor den Zimmern. Eingangsseite des Gebäudes direkt an der Hauptstrasse und nicht sehr einladend. Laute Verkehrsgeräusche. Großer Hund vom Besitzer ist ständig auf dem Grundstück. Er riecht sehr stark und verrichtet seine Bedürfnisse auf dem Rasen neben dem Pool. Niemand kümmert sich um das arme Tier. Aber für die hausgäste ist das nicht einladend.

• Jade (6/5): Great price. Maybe better for backpackers or cheap travellers. - The best thing about this place is how cheap it is. We only used it as a stopover on our way back to the north of the island and it did the job for the very cheap price. The pool was decent. The breakfast was good. The staff was pretty nice and friendly. The pool table and games were good for our kids. We were also able to get the cheapest massages imaginable at our room. The room was pretty big. We had a good dinner in a nearby restaurant that was very cheap and walkable. The place is pretty dingy. Walking around for a few minutes near the pool area without shoes on will leave your feet black. The beds and bedding in the loft area are pretty sad. The layout of the rooms is kinda weird, and it's pretty easy to see into other people's rooms. The area itself doesn't have much to offer. Not really the best place to hang out and relax but better as a quick stopover. I think if I'd been backpacking or on a solo trip, this would've been a more suitable place to stay.

• Charles Bryan (7/5): Good for adults only - The property was ok. The pool was nice. It’s just not ideal for kids, especially little boys because the loft didn’t seem safe for my kid. The loft type is ok for adults - I wouldn’t recommend for kids who are super active. I couldn’t relax because my kid kept running up and down and it was too steep. Not so safe for kids.

Это очень здорово. —классный напор горячей воды в душевой. —плавали в бассейне, понравилось. Видно, что его обслуживают и следят за ним. —в номере было 4 банных полотенца. Очень удобно, что можно вытереться сухим, пока второе сохнет. —у объекта очень удобная парковка (я был на машине) Некоторые моменты, которые причинили дискомфорт: —на проживание на 2 ночи 2 взрослых положили 1 рулон туалетной бумаги. Нам не хватило, и мне не удобно было просить новый. Лучше бы с запасом положили. —в ванне встречали небольших тараканчиков.

• Cheryl (10/5): Perfect short getaway. Will definitely come back. - We get to meet the owner, Tim, he was very accomodating and nice. And we met his beautiful and gentle pitbull, Blu. It’s so refreshing to wake up to a picturesque view with the sea within reach. And you can swim on the pool anytime. Shower is so spacious. If you fancy fresh air, nature and beautiful accomodation- this is the perfect place to stay. Nothing I can think of.

Western feel with pool table and super dig BLUE, large friendly bull dog...little disappointing was low water pressure and no electricity or air conditioning during all day brown out. Mon made excellent breakfast for us to enjoy

The room was lovely and clean and as a bonus a TV with phone connection. I got to work which was actually a pleasure with the sea view and great WiFi. The owner was even kind enough to send a forgotten swimsuit to our next accommodation at lightning speed. Thank you for everything!

• Harold (10/5): - We were a family of 16 (adults and children) staying for 2 nights in June. We all loved it. The owner was on site and responsive to all our needs. The rooms were spotless and perfectly situated to see the pool and ocean through the large sliding glass doors. And the staff was friendly and available. Breakfast to order was delicious. I highly recommend the Beachhouse.

The location is perfect – right on the beach, with a great view and the calming sound of the ocean. The hotel is small but very cozy, and the rooms were well-equipped and clean. What really stood out were the staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The water pressure could be better; showering was a bit of a challenge. It might be helpful to provide a bucket and tabo (a traditional Filipino scoop) for convenience.

• Michael (8/5): Great room and sea view in Dalaguete - Very welcoming host, helped me with parking upon arrival, orientation of the property, and recommendation for places to eat nearby. I was really impressed by the room which exceeded my expectations. Really comfy bed and everything you need for an overnight stay. Just a short walk along the seawall to nice restaurants. I would definitley recommend this property when visiting Dalaguete. Everything was great for my stay!
• Crystal (10/5): - We had the most incredible 3-day stay at Tim's Beachouse Hotel property in Cebu, Philippines! The beachfront location was absolutely perfect, offering a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere with a beautiful pool to unwind in. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable – the ideal place to come back to after a day of adventures. Breakfast was available to order, and nothing beats enjoying a traditional Filipino breakfast with breathtaking beach views. It truly set the tone for each of our mornings. The small, intimate vibe of the property made us feel like we were part of the family, which made our stay even more special. We spent our days on amazing day trips to Oslob and Moalboal, went swimming with whale sharks, explored the sardine run, and even went canyoneering at the waterfalls. After such exciting days, the massages every night were a perfect way to relax and recover. We rented scooters to explore the province life, which was fantastic, and the local guides made everything even more enjoyable. While the property is close to the road and you can hear the bus passing by, the sound becomes background noise after a day full of adventure. With the right mindset, you'll have the best sleep you've ever had. Tim and Anne were such wonderful hosts, making us feel like family from the moment we arrived. Their hospitality made our stay unforgettable, and we can't wait to return. This was a truly relaxing and memorable experience, and we wish we could have stayed longer!!

• Verified traveler (6/5): Dalaguete Weekend Getaway - Overall experience could have been great except that we personally don't like is that the property was beside/across or near cemetery and a funeral parlor/home. Another, the In-property parking is only good for 3 cars. The fourth car has to move in and out when the other 3 cars has/have to get out. Also, the bathroom shower needs to improve its water volume and pressure. We had the experience where the receptionist still collected us a cash payment even if we already fully paid the accomodation during booking. On the good side, the room was nicely designed and well cleaned and maintained, good ACU performance.

• Carina (7/5): Hotel is good but location isn't great for tourists. - The hotel itself is nice, the swimming pool and the view from the sea is very relaxing, the room is very big and comfortable and the wifi is good. There was 2 bulldogs around from the owner who lives beside, but they were very friendly and not dangerous at all, although it is very intimidating to see them at first, some people might not feel comfortable with it, but we were fine. It's very far from all the cities where you can do touristic things and it's a very local area with no tourists around. It's one hour driving to Oslob the nearest location to do some tours, but you would have to hire a car or organize a tour in advance because there is nothing near by. The owner lives beside it but he did not help much on organising tours so we had to do everything by ourselves.
• Chris (10/5): Hidden Gem in Cebu - This is a hidden gem in the heart of Cebu. Easy access to busses as they stop literally in front of the hotel, but not where it's noisy where you hear them, but it's very easy to hop on and go towards your designation. In addition, the pool is super clean, the room, very spacious, and the 2 pups are the best doggies ever! Anne was a great host and the place is one where we will be back later. The weather could have been better, but that's no one's fault

• Robert (7/5): Well worth staying. - Plenty of local eating spots available, from street bbq to local restaurants in Dalaguete. Just left via the entrance gate and plenty of tricycles available. The staff were superb.. friendly and helpful. We also met the owner who was always willing to chat. Swimming pool and beach just outside the room.. Staff provided guests with a large container of purified water in the room, at no additional charge. Would I stay here again? Most definitely 👍 TV wasnt connecting. However, we went to relax so this was not a major issue. No breakfast or food available, and we were told this was due to the last typhoon causing damage. The room was basic, however it had a good shower and was spotlessly clean. Very comfortable. It was a bit expensive, however we enjoyed our time there and extended for another 3 days. The owner had 2 American Pit Bull dogs. Beautiful animals, however to some guests these can be quite an intimidating breed and so shouldn't really be allowed to roam loose on the grounds with guests.
• Eliton (10/5): Perfect stay to go to see the whale sharks - Beach House is a great place to stay. 40 minutes to whale shark. The room is very comfortable. The owner Tim helps in everything you need. Parking is available. We loved this place.
• Elaine (10/5): - The Beachhouse is conveniently just beside the Ceres bus stop and after our journey from Cebu city, we were able to check into an oasis for three days. Tim and Ann made us very welcome to their resort with four modern, luxury rooms overlooking a swimming pool and the sea beyond. Tim arranged for habal habal drivers to take us for a day out in the hills on the back of motorbikes where we visited a fabulous waterfall where we could swim as well as Osmena Peak. Tim chatted each day about options for dinner that night and was able to come up with three deliciously different veggie options for Chris and we ate at a shared table with the other guests. It was a perfect place for some downtime during our travels and we’ll recommended.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - You get a spectacular view of the ocean from your room. Check in was smooth. Rooms are updated and clean. Tim the owner was very welcoming and informative. He answered any questions we may have regarding day trips and beaches to visit. There is a complimentary water jug for all guests. The mini fridge are full of drinks from alcohol to juices. The owner Tim is quite a good cook, so he made us breakfast and supper at different occasion. You just tell him ahead of time what you wish for food. Dalaguete was a small town but only 1 hour bus ride to Oslob and 1.5 hours motorbike to Kawasan Falls. The bus stops is directly beside the resort.

Tim is a passionate chef who plays with the local ingredients and international tastes, so we never had dinner outside.. Also with >20 yrs experience in hospitality and in the island, you can count on them for recommendations of what to do; so whether you want to relax or have fun, they’ve covered! We are looking forward to go back!

It’s a very clean and well maintained place, with the most comfortable room I’ve stayed in during my time in the phillipines, with a nice bed, plenty of room and a very efficient AC system. I really enjoyed the food also, it was delicious! The hosts were helpful in recommending nearby activities and advising on transport. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you both!

Tim is an amazing chef! We enjoyed every meal he cooked for us especially the BBQ shrimps. Tim's knowledge of Cebu is fantastic, he took time to sit with us to ensure we had all the advice we needed. Tim also rented us his van (for a very good price!) which gave us the ability to explore the island independently! Highly recommended.

Man kan med bus nemt komme til Oslob og se hvalhajer, eller man kan tage tværs hen over øen til Kawasan Falls på motorcykel. Værtsparret er flinke og snaksagelige, og maden er simpel men god, da manden er uddannet kok.
• William (8/5): Nice gem in developing area - We took a family trip to view the whale sharks. I wasn't able to find anything reasonable and comfortable in Oslob and decided to try the Beach House. The place is very well done. Tim and Ann are great hosts. The bed is comfortable, the rooms are very spacious and clean. We had a great time there.
• ghel (10/5): - The owners were really accommodating & friendly. Our needs were provided. They got a huge & tidy rooms.
• Michael (10/5): Friendly Hotel Staff - The hotel staff/owner is friendly. There is no food menu in the hotel but you can order anything you want. They will cook for you.
• Clive (8/5): Nice easy going resort - The hotel lent me snorkeling gear to go and see the reef and turtles
