• Paul (5/5): Für 1Nacht gerade OK,mehr aber auch nicht. - Unkompliziertes CheckIn/ CheckOut. Größe des Zimmers ,Balkon. Helllhörig von der Straße, Boden nicht gesaugt,Zimmer staubig. Federkernmatratze! Frühstück MEHR als enttäuschend für 14€ p.person.

• Nauwerck-Feirle (3/5): - Gutes Bett Sehr schade, selten so eine lieblose und schmutzige Unterkunft erlebt. Abgesehen von einem guten und sauberen Bett, war die gesamte Unterkunft nicht gepflegt - Spinnweben im Treppenhaus, schimmlige Fugen, Krümel und Dreck am Boden, ekliger Läufer vor dem Bett, Klo mit unpassender Klobrille und eindeutigen Vorgängerspuren, Spiegel komplett verschmiert, Schmutzwäsche und Putzlappen im Gang abgelegt, schlechte Beleuchtung, Balkonpflanzen verwelkt und gammelig vom letzten Sommer. Ohne Frühstück dafür 100 € zu verlangen ist nicht ok und daher nicht weiterzuempfehlen.

• Peter (2/5): Nie wieder dieses Hotel, überteuert, 100 € die Nacht ohne Frühstück ist übertrieben. - Restaurant war geschlossen, Urlaub, daher kein Frühstück, Treppenhaus nicht beleuchtet, am besten eine Taschenlampe mitnehmen. Reception war nicht besetzt, auch nicht morgens. Siehe oben.

• Roland (5/5): Hotel run by ghosts - Reasonable price. No hotel personell available even during times somebody was supposed to be there. Restaurant was independently run and did not accept credit cards.

• Anne (5/5): Déçu - La propreté, le parking gratuit, le sourire de la patronne quand elle était là… Tout gratuit pour les enfants Personne dans l’hôtel à notre arrivé à 19h30, code de la Keybox en défectueux, personne ne pouvait nous donner la clef. La patronne prévenue par téléphone est venue nous ouvrir 30 min après. Puis repart, aucun personnel pendant la nuit. Pas de clim dans la chambre, dommage ça aurait été plus confortable par ces fortes chaleurs… Balcon impraticable couverte de fientes d’oiseaux.Bruit dans la rue. Déjeuner très cher pour ce qu’il y avait 13,5€ par adulte, petit déjeuner rationner un morceau de pain par personne surtout du salée, pas de possibilité de se resservir car il n’y avait plus rien. Pourtant il était 8h et juste une table de 4 en plus de nous 3. Notre enfant de 5 ans n’a pas eu de boisson chaude ce n’était pas prévu. Pour le deuxième jours nous avons préféré faire un déjeuner nous meme plutôt que de payer 27€ de déjeuner. Franchement même dans un Formule 1 on est mieux reçu.

• Chris (7/5): We waren op doorreis van vakantie naar huis, prima hotelkamer voor een nachtje! - Ruime kamer Hoewel het midden in het dorp ligt ging er ‘s nachts veel verkeer langs dat erg hard reed.
• Henk (7/5): Nette kamer met goede bedden. Jammer dat het hotel geen restaurant en ontbijtservice heeft. - De kamer was keurig, het bed prima. Rustige omgeving. Het hotel had geen restaurant meer en voor het ontbijt werden we verwezen naar de bakker naast het hotel.

• Trevor (5/5): Overnight stay while passing through. Not the best experience. - The beds were comfortable and the room was generally clean. Never saw a member of staff the whole time we were there and no contact numbers left in case of any issues/problems. No indication of where was appropriate to park the car. There was a car park next door with lots of no parking signs near the building, so a complete guess if it was ok or not. The worst bit was no hot water in the evening (even for washing hands) and after my wife had a cold shower ninth morning, it suddenly sprang into almost boiling at 7am on the dot. I got the impression the supply had been turned off and was turned on in the morning at 7 such was the immediate difference in temperature. Not the best location to find food in the evening either. No breakfast / evening meals offered, but were guided towards the bakery next door for breakfast (which we didn't try out). Glad it was only for one night and we'd probably go somewhere else as an alternative in the future.
• Anne (1/5): Very Disappointed! - Nice building No staff on premises during duration of stay (no staff for checkin, check out so if there had been a medical emergency / accident / safety/ security / fire evacuation / lift breakdown then we would have to find our own way out and ring the emergency services ourselves, as a guest this felt really unsafe. Advertised with a restaurant open on that day, but not open so had to go out and find alternative meals after a late arrival Informed an hour before we got on the ferry from England that the staff would not be present in an email in German language that we couldnt translate on the move which was too late to cancel as we'd already paid. We then had to translate via Google translate on arrival to work out how to access our room via a key box on the wall and access code (Previous correspondence in the run up had been in English) The message said they would be unavailable Monday so we assumed back in the premises on Tuesday. By the time we left on Tuesday they still hadn't turned up. Areas of the hotel were also in darkness for the duration

• Paul (8/5): Nice place to stay close to Offenburg - Very convenient end nice place to stay We arrived around 19h30 on Sunday evening, and were told that the kitchen of the rstaurant was already closed. No other place to have convenient dinner closeby.

• Huw (9/5): A delightful hotel and good value for money. - A traditional German hotel. The evening meal was a delight and I would recommend the steak as it was the best I have had for a long time. The staff were helpful and catered for my wife as she is gluten and lactose intolerant. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. A small hamlet so only found one other bar. N/a

• Lianne (5/5): Passable - Location was nice. Lots of space for parking. Spacious and clean rooms. Staff not very welcoming. Room and building was a bit outdated and not well maintained. Restaurant was closed on a Friday evening, no notion received. Very dark outside, entrance looked closed. Also for breakfast. Payment for an additional crappy folding bed, which should have been there according to the description. No bed for the 4th person, because a 4 year old can sleep with his parents.

• Stephanie (9/5): Perfect for one nights stay while passing through, next to nice bakery. - The restaurant was great and parking was abundant. Due to its proximity to the road traffic was loud. I’m sure that wouldn’t be an issue in winter when windows don’t need to be open.

• petersW1320BU (10/5): A very good choice - Supposing one has a reduction from Booking.com. At an excellent location on the German side for visiting Strasbourg in France. Very nice old building and restaurant, but the food prices are a bit on the expensive side. However, the quality is excellent. Staff is friendly and there's the occasional person able to speak EN (but not alway available). Some noise was sometimes heard from neighbours at night. My single room was huge, guessing from distances between doors, double rooms must be even bigger, so no lack of space. Practically everything is provided.
• vl0z (6/5): Quick overnight - Clean but dated. Dinner was super overpriced. Breakfast was ok. They had a meeting room connected to it and we could hear the meeting and they could hear us. Only stayed here because our other hotel fell though.
• favoriter (8/5): Very good kitchen - We stayed for one night driving home from Switzerland. The room was quite ordinary, but with a new bathroom. It was quiet outside. We had a very good dinner in the cosy restaurant and nice staff to serve the dinner. The breakfast was the usual German gasthof type with fresh bread and additional eggs and bacon
• Ndakwar (8/5): Very good, a little bit secluded. - We stayed there for one night during our trip in the black forest, and it was very good. The room was clean, the beds were arranged, a large room with a large clean bathroom. It was very comfortable. The place is located in a small village, which makes it very unique and calm, but on the other hand, a little bit secluded. The breakfast was basic. It was good and tasty, but very basic with little ingredients. To sum it up, the place is very good, but not excellent. I would definitely go back there!!
• rickh653 (10/5): Great Hotel-Great Food-Great Beer - The rooms were cleaned up while we ate breakfast. Dinner party one night for 7 people and the food and drinks very great. I liked the fact you can get Beer or food very close to the room you sleep in without having to drive car or walk in rain . I cannot say enough about the owner and staff how friendly and helpful they are ! We will go back the next time we are in town.
• 197stevee (6/5): Perfect Weekend - We stayed at Hotel Roessle while we went to Europa park for the weekend. The hotel itself was "generally" nice. Well kept on the outside, good restaurant and the rooms looked reasonably good. The big complaints that I had was that the mattresses were very thin and not comfortable at all, and the shower head in the bathroom was encrusted with lime scale so wasn't working very well. The restaurant at the hotel was absolutely fantastic. The food came out hot, fresh ad delicious. The staff was friendly and pleasant and helped make the stay pleasant. Overall I'd say the hotel was OK, but I probably wouldn't' stay there again. But I would definitely hit up the restaurant again! Safe Travels!
