• Noeline (10/5): Mid-City Peaceful Haven - Everything except I had no partner to share this romantic getaway spot with. Helen is a wonderful hostess in a well designed facility. Her "space" can be used quietly or socially, hence I found a pal with whom to share my next day's taxi tour. Nothing. Only improvement I can think of for price range is a hair dryer.

Het was lekker rustig en er is veel mogelijk als er om gevraagd wordt . De kamers zijn heerlijk ruim en voorzien van muskietennetten , koelkastje en douche .Ubud is ook heerlijk om Rond te slenteren. Geen stortdouche alleen handdouche .

• Colin Thomas (8/5): Good value for a calm place in central Ubud. - The hotel is calm and feels quite secluded, even though you're a short walk from some restaurants and shops, and only about 5-10 minutes walking from the main streets of Ubud. The room was a decent size, bathroom was clean with a large shower, plenty of hot water. Late check in at 21:00 was easy. I ate the smoothie bowl for breakfast every day, a great way to start the day. The pool was refreshing and clean, but the area around it is really not inviting at all. The tables / chairs at the breakfast area are nice, but there is really no comfortable place to relax and sit by the pool, read, etc. They are a couple beanbag chairs but I think a sofa or some cushy chairs would be much more comfortable.

• Wojciech (9/5): Supremely relaxing place to stay - Gorgeous place to stay, with well furnished large doubles and lovely balconies. The pool, with very cool water, is a boon in hot weather. Free water from a dispenser. Owners are very amiable and will help with laundry or scooters. Nice breakfast. Very central–10 mins walk to Ubud Palace, plenty of great bars, restaurants, massage etc. nearby. Off the road, so very quiet. Amazing value for money! The Jl. Bisma street nearby sees heavy traffic and isn't the nicest. Bathroom a bit basic.

My room was huge, the bed was really comfortable and my word - the breakfast what a treat. It’s restaurant quality and yummy! By far the best breakfast, I’ve ever had at a hotel. Helen, and her team are warm, welcoming and genuinely friendly. Helen’s wisdom and insight is remarkable. Highly recommend this wonderful place!

• Gillian (8/5): - The hotel is in a great location, within easy walking distance of the town centre. The bedroom was comfortable, a good size, and very clean, with a lovely balcony. The only downside was the shower — it went cold on the first day, and the next day the water stopped completely. However, the owner had it fixed very quickly, which we appreciated. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was nice. The swimming pool is located close to the entrance, so it’s not very private. We didn’t get the chance to use it as there were some improvement works going on during our stay. These started around 8:30am and lasted for about three days, which we hadn’t been informed about beforehand. Overall, though, it didn’t spoil our stay — we still enjoyed our time there and would consider returning.

Personal sehr freundlich. Komischerweise, wurde mein Zimmer nur 1x gereinigt und Wasser aufgefüllt, sowie der Müll entsorgt. War dennoch ok, da ich nur 3 Nächte dort war. Kann es absolut weiterempfehlen, man hat dort wirklich Alles was man braucht in kurzen Wegen erledigt.

La chambre, simple mais très confortable, était impeccable et d’une propreté irréprochable. Le petit déjeuner fait maison… un pur régal, chaque matin une explosion de saveurs ! 🌺 Le sourire et la gentillesse du personnel rendent le lieu encore plus chaleureux. Un véritable havre de paix en plein centre d’Ubud, mais dans un calme absolu. Une belle découverte que nous recommandons les yeux fermés ! Seul petit bémol : la piscine, très agréable bien que très fraîche, elle reste un peu petite si vous recherchez vraiment de la baignade.

• Paul (8/5): Great stay overall! - The welcome of the host was really great, she was very arranging and helped us find some nice places and gave us tips for our stay in Ubud. It was great, the location of the house is also very handy, in the center of the city but not too close to the noisy area. A lot of great places to go around! We recommend The room wasn’t very clean when we arrived and the room equipments were rather limited.
• Cory (10/5): Incredible stay - Loved staying here and the proximity to cafes and restaurants and mini marts. A short walk into town to the shops, atm, and more restaurants and cafes. Walking distance to everything. Had a personal driver to tourist sites which were either 20 -30 minutes away depending on traffic. The staff were amazing, so kind and very accommodating and friendly. It would be really nice to have a small fridge in the rooms so at least you could keep your water and drinks cold.

The room inside had some bugs and mosquitos, and I had to sleep with the mosquito net around the bed. The bathroom has an open window with mesh wire so it's very hot and humid in the bathroom. The shower had black mould in the silicone and snail in the shower. The toilet and basin smelt like sewage. No silicone at the bottom of the shower, when the water hit the wall it flooded the bathroom floor.

Bed is comfortable. Overall, it was a nice and comfortable stay. The room gets humid with the rain, which is anyway to be expected. I booked a double room on the ground floor, and people are passing by quite often. I believe rooms on the first floor give you more privacy. If it wasn't for this, I would have rated the property a 10. The swimming pool can not really be used.

Very busy in Ubud now, location has massages and convenience store, and good restaurants on the road. Very clean room, nice staff. Nice breakfast. Steep incline to hotel from road - very steep steps to upper room. Very very cold small plunge pool - too cold to swim in, therefore not a space you would lounge around to relax. No fridge in room. I wouuld not stay again as I like a pool area and too many steps.

Here I had the best breakfast in all my stays in Bali. I can recommend the pancakes and the smoothie bowl. The staff was super helpful and friendly. I will definitely come back in my next trip to Bali Nothing to complain, everything went perfect :)

Lovely large room with big comfortable bed and good quality furniture. Great breakfast choice with flexible times. Amazing value for money. Shampoo and soap bars which were a nice touch. Fridge would have been useful.

• Pawel (9/5): Two weeks of serenity..... - Kobe was an excellent host, we were greeted warmly and he made sure that anything we asked for was met with a smile. Breakfasts were superb, we ate breakfast there 14 mornings in a row, tried almost everything on the menu and were never disappointed. We also chose to eat dinner several times and the food was superb.....compliments to the chef and his students. The location is really good, quiet enough to get a good rest but close enough to walk to the hustle and bustle of downtown Ubud. Taking price into consideration, this was a 9/10 stay! There's not much to say here.....it's the jungle so there are some critters, it's humid so be prepared for controlling dampness and the associated issues. The pool could have used some loungers besides the two bean bags offered, but other than that there's little to complain about. It's not a 5 star resort.....manage your expectations and you'll have a LOVELY stay.

• Chris (2/5): Rooms.and cleaning need serious attention - The breakfast was great and staff very nice. Close to centre. I really dont like giving negative reviews, especially when the staff were very friendly, but if we knew how bad this place really was we would.never have booked. We only stayed one night and moved on the next day. The room is unfortunately very dirty, and the mattresses were old, lumpy, and very uncomfortable to sleep on. You could feel the springs in your back. The air-conditioning is too small for the room and it did to effectively cool the room.down.The pillows are old and stained and smelth awful. I sweated all night on the.pillow and it was soaked, so i guess that has happened to plenty of others.There was a foul smell in the bathroom and even rubbish under one bed when we first checked in the room. There area gaps in doors and windows everywhere. One coffee cup was unwashed with residue of something in it.

The guesthouse was not accessible by car so we had to walk for about a minute from the main road but it was okay. It was quiet at night and we had a good rest. The breakfast was amazing. We were very full from the breakfast.

• Jason (8/5): Lovely spot for a few days - The place is a little sanctuary tucked away from busy Bismah Road, and offers spacious rooms and a delicious restaurant (including awesome breakfasts!) courtesy of Kobe, who runs the place. We had a couple of issues with the room, and were very kindly offered an utterly delicious dinner by way of making up for the inconvenience, which was a very kind of thoughtful gesture. If you book here, be clear about whether you're getting an upstairs room (much more private) rather than a downstairs room. Room 1 felt a bit dark and like a goldfish bowl - the only way we could ensure privacy was to keep the curtains closed. Of course, it's not a big and busy resort so it's not a stream of people walking past, but an upstairs room would definitely be preferable.

Especially breakfasts - fruit/smoothie bowls, toasts with egg benedict, toast with avocado - all delicious. When we need to save our luggage, it was no problem. All stuffs very kind and helpfull. Near to the city center, Ubud market and Monkey forest walking around 10 minutes. We can definitelly reccommend!

Couldn't reccomended more for a relaxing couple of days in Ubud. Nothing
• Denisia (10/5): amazing - staff was nice and welcoming, breakfast was delicious, i recommend the avocado toast, room was very clean and we had a nice view from window everything was ok
• Sarah (8/5): Good location, lovely staff, great breakfasts! - Good location but away from the main road so no excess noise. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious. String smell of mould or mustiness in the room and on the towels.

• Miriam (5/5): Passable - Location is very central. Pretty quiet. Lovely breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. No mugs or coffee/tea supplies to go with the kettle. Difficult to access power outlet for kettle (had to pull out desk). Water pressure was very low and took a long time to get warm. Curtains did little to make room darker.

• Vicky (9/5): Overall our stay is great. They provide amazing breakfast and the staff are really helpful. - The location is good, quiet and it is closed to everything. Few minutes walk to the Monkey Forest. The wash basin is outside the shower/toilet. There should be a soap dish right there so that you don’t have to go back in the shower area to get the soap and then go back to the shower area again to return the soap and dry your hands.

• Katherine (9/5): Superb - quiet down a small street. big clean room. comfy bed. breakfast was delicious but allow a reasonable amount of time for it as it’s just the two of them in the kitchen.
• Íñigo (8/5): Very good - Breakfast is amazing. Easily at the same level of the one served at many of the fancy cafes in Ubud Location is in downtown but still quiet Staff is really helpful and always tries to make guests comfortable The bathroom in our first room had an issue with humidities and toilet. The issue was repaired during our stay, so it should be fixed now. The staff did their best to reaccommodate us in another room, but there was a bit of miscommunication between us

• Michael (10/5): A very pleasant stay with lovelyfriendly people for our first visit to Bali - The breakfast was always lovely and a good choice. I enjoyed the fresh fruit juices. My parfai bowl had lovely fruit and I tried Dragoon fruit which I loved. No every thing was lovely.
• Heldania (10/5): it was great - it was comforting and clean
• Annette (7/5): Mediocre stay in Ubud. - Breakfast was phenomenal and the young women serving were friendly and attentive. Quiet, good location but alley very busy and lots of hawkers. Room could have been cleaner. Hair on WC floor, glass in shower filthy, general level of cleanliness could have been better. Pool was disgusting. No one available in the evening if something needed. Staff available by messaging on Booking and responded quickly.
• Thanuja (9/5): Superb - Lovely fresh and very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing.
