• Bruce (8/5): - WE HAVE STAYED AT THIS HOTEL MANY TIMES,WE LIKE THE ROOMS,THE BEDS AND THE STAFF ARE GENERALLY GOOD AND RESPOND PROMPTLY IN MOST CASES. Breakfast three different mornings,there was no milk ,no bacon.The times for breakfast were all different and each time there was something that we wanted that was not replenished. ON ANOTHER NOTE,UNFORTUNEATELY THERE WAS ALOT OF NOISE OUTSIDE AROUND THE BUILDING VERY EARLY AND VERY LATE IN THE MORNING.WOKE UP SERVERAL TIMES TO HEAR SOMEONE CURSING AND THROWING UP ,THIS OCCURRED FOR WELL OVER AN HOUR AT A TIME AND NOT JUST ONCE OVER THE PERIOD OF OUR FOUR NIGHT STAY.

• Tessler (1/5): Beware staying at the Thompson Best Value.. disgusting what was found on the bed and room - There was blood, bed bugs and other unknown fluids on the mattress, side of the bed... the room was completely disgusting and dirty.. and nothing like the posted pictures on bookings.com.. 0 stars out of 10... beware
• Jenna (1/5): Horrible - Location was fine, that’s it. It was dirty (not just our room, the entire entrance way etc). It looked like it had really never been cleaned in the lobby, smelled bad, overall very unwelcoming. The room was also dirty, we didn’t even unload our stuff until we went to Walmart to get Lysol wipes to clean the room. The tv only had one channel with sound, the air/heat was also extremely noisy.

• Barrett (1/5): Slightly cheaper price than other hotels is not worth it. - Nothing. Wifi didn't work. Continental breakfast was a joke. Stale cereal, sour milk, toaster didn't work. Cops came most days for one reason or another.

• Kazi (8/5): - The property is old and needs maintenance. The staff were very very nice and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was alright. We found boiled stale eggs that were probably past expiry date. But the staff were nice enough to replace them when asked.

• Mark (8/5): - It was the cheapest bigger hotel in Thompson, of course there will be issues. It was ok. Sketchy part of town, but Thompson is all sketchy. The blackout curtains in the room were a joke. How hard is it to hang curtains properly? Berry hard, apparently.

• Richard (8/5): Nice Independent Hotel - A Little Pricey - This was a nice little hotel. Large room and comfortable bed. A little expensive but this is typical of Thompson hotels in general.

• Violet (1/5): Disgusting - Didn’t eat there very very dirty rundown hotel the young man working when we checked in was helpful he tried to find us a decent room but the ones I looked at were all terrible The rooms I viewed were absolutely filthy. Smell was horrible. Had to get some Lysol spray to try and mask the odor from the filthy carpets. We couldn’t get another hotel for our time there so were forced to stay there. Really bad experience. I will think twice about booking through this site again.

The outside area immediately around the motel had all kinds of homeless people gathering, but did not feel unsafe. Rooms were OK. Breakfast was good (eggs, bacon, bagels, cereal, milk, juices, coffee and tea). Walking distance to shops.

We arrived in the evening and when we unloaded our personal stuff, we noticed quite a few personalities hanging around the parking lot/Hotel, watching us. We didn’t feel like this was a safe place to park a fully loaded truck for moving so we found a different spot in town.
