• Balvin (10/5): Unterkunft mit tollem Ausblick auf die Zipser Burg. - Das selbst gemachte Frühstück konnten wir im Garten des Vermieters mit Blick auf die Zipser Burg einnehmen. Der Vermieter schlug uns viele Unternehmungen vor.Er war zu jederzeit erreichbar. Kostenlos brachte er uns mit seinem Auto zur Werkstatt ca.35 km entfernt, weil unser Auto notrepariert werden musste, um es wieder abzuholen.

Príjemný majiteľ, úžasný výhľad na Spišský hrad priamo z postele, udržiavaná záhrada. Zrekonštruované priestory, čistota bez akýchkoľvek výhrad. Fotografie interiéru zodpovedajú skutočnosti. Bohužiaľ som nemohol ostať dlhšie, bol to služobný pobyt. Určite sa však vrátim a dúfam, že sa mi podarí vyhradiť si aj viac dní. Neďaleko je ikonické miesto na fotenie hradu s Tatrami v pozadí - v obci Dúbrava hľadajte "Pamätný kríž" (pred kostolom doprava), alebo prejdite na konci obce popri futbalovom štadióne. Mne neprialo slnko, možno nabudúce. Parkovanie "na ulici"", vzhľadom na lokalitu však iná možnosť nie je dostupná.

Everything in their room is new and spotless in the balcony is large and amazing.. my stay there is a true trip highlight. The host was very generous answering my questions and showing me around the property.. There’s nothing I didn’t like I just love the place

• Nina (10/5): We will definitely recommend this accomodation! - After a long day of cycling we just needed a place to crash. But we got much more than that. The host is really exceptional, he is friendly and you can tell that he likes working with people. After negative experiences we had in Poland due to lack of communication(since almost no one is using English) it was such a refreshment to speak with a local and even manage to understand eachother by using our mother languages(Slovakian and Serbian). The room was very big and cozy, and the kitchen is fully equipped! Hope to see you again!

• Ken (9/5): The castle view is right in front of you! and host is excellent! - Excellent hospitality! I was arriving on a Sunday so I wouldn't expect staff would be around all the time. Texted the owner my expected arrival time; he was very responsive and and is kind enough to wait for me at the premise with his phone number that I can reach just in case. Room is spacious, clean and tidy. Same as the common kitchen/dining area. The backyard has the unblocked view of castle, also gives a shortcut path to the site too. The whole place is not very soundproof. So if people are using the kitchen or chatting over the dining table, you can hear it.

Room was clean with comfy beds, a small fridge, cook top, microwave and kettle. Basics stocked in the kitchen. Good strong wifi. You need to be able to call the owner to get in. Check in was time consuming and disorganised. Only one room in the house would actually have a view of the castle from the room. Parking wasn't an issue for us but there are other hotels on the street and filled up by morning so if you arrive late you may struggle.

• Jacek (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely spectacular place with the view on the castle (book the right room "with the view" - otherwise use garden house to spend nice evening. Room quite big. Balcony with table and chairs is the key (the view). Kitchen is common and fully equipped. Owner - very helpful and cheerful. Small pub and grocery store not far away. But the castle...!!! Best place to stay here. ;) Renovation is still ongoing on the half of garden so maybe not "perfect view" this season, but it does not make any trouble.
• Yuliia (8/5): Very good - Near the Spissky hrad (old castle), is located at the foot of the castle, from where you can walk or drive up to the castle itself. in good weather you can sit in the courtyard looking at the castle. Very friendly staff, nice for Ukrainians. Small 2-floor houses with 3-4 separate rooms and one kitchen in the common hall on the second floor with fridge, microwave, kettle etc. No reception, no online messenger to write to the staff, only necessity to call when we arrived.

The bedroom and bathroom were clean, the beds comfy and the kitchenette had everything we needed. I don't think I could've chosen a better place for this money.
