• Tegwen (8/5): - The team here are so friendly and have amazing activities you can book through them. The cafe has delicious food and drinks. The beds are comfortable and there is hot water. Try to stay on the garden side of the building since the back wall gets damp during wet weather.

• Julia (7/5): - Super kind owners and staff, great cafe in front and comfy beds, great WiFi, good walkability to shops, Main Street and lake aswell as nice yoga spot next door on rooftop of cafe. Unfortunately the bathroom was pretty dirty and uninviting, I don’t mind a good price ratio as the place is rather cheap in comparison, but a clean bathroom is important which can definitely be improved here

• Olivia (10/5): Wonderful stay at Nepali Cottage Guest House. - Lovely stay, comfy and spacious room. The shower was great and hot. Really helpful staff and great location. Would definitely recommend. :) View of a concrete wall from the window but think it was a new building next door so not the fault of the accommodation.

• Alexander (9/5): lovely little guest house with helpful staff and great food - This lovely little guest house is located in a quieter road and backyard to provide less noise. At the same time, all the hustle and bustle of Lakeside is easily walkable. Furthermore, one gets lots of sun directly at the guest house and attached cafe to enjoy the wonderful weather. Wendy's Café works as the guest house' reception while the helpful staff assists with useful information and there is even an office to organise tours and travel tickets. The food at the cafe is really good and well prepared. Our pick: Take the buckwheat avocado toast with egg! For dinner, the Buddha Bowl is a real treat. If you stay longer: There is a wide range of English and French books awailable providing you with enjoyable stories and food for thought. The bathroom was rather chilly because there was no proper window but just a hole with a grid/cloth cover.

Le petit déjeuner et toute la carte du café attenant à l’hôtel sont excellents. La chambre est d’un bon rapport qualité/prix, propre, avec douche chaude et très bien située dans le centre de Pokhara.

• Amandine (9/5): - My parents and I really enjoyed our stay at Nepali Cottage Guest House. The place is peaceful, the garden is lovely, and the rooms are clean and cozy. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, and the location is great, close to Lakeside but still quiet. A perfect spot to relax in Pokhara!

Central, inviting location in Lakeside, beautifully designed. Very clean house with all the equipment you could wish for - fully functional, including warm shower. Well, a bedside lamp would have made the offer perfect.

• Broer (8/5): Good place stay - Management and staff was polite and kind. Pleasant environment with small garden. . A lot of high rise building going on in the city, which can disturb the peace during the day in the hotel. Is also a problem for the management .
• Alice (9/5): A lovely stay in Pokhara, very friendly and helpful staff. - Very nice property in Pokhara, the cafe was a lovely addition to the stay. The staff were extremely helpful and I was able to borrow a set of walking poles for free for a 5 day trek. They helped with our trekking permits and made sure we had a comfortable stay. We stayed in quite a basic but nonetheless comfortable room. There was an ant issue in the bathroom but we weren’t too bothered - I guess we felt closer to nature 😅

The adorable cafe has delicious food but most of all the owners and staff were so kind. They even surprised me with a homemade cake and birthday hats for my birthday while we were there. I have never felt so welcome in a stay. I can't wait to return!! Thank you Tripti, Dev, Dipa and Parabi for the most amazing experience in your beautiful guest house ❤️ There was some construction behind the building but the workers didn't start work until after 8am.

Daarnaast is het rustig gelegen en hadden we geen last van lawaai (zoals in eerdere recente comments wordt aangegeven)

Oltre alla Guest House gestiscono un bar dove è possibile fare colazione o altri pasti Ogni tanto non funzionavo le prese e il ventilatore (salvata la corrente?). Inoltre il letto dispone soltanto di una coperta pesante, quindi se non si vuole dormire scoperti si deve tenere quella e fa molto caldo. Ma penso che sia usanza in Nepal di fare il letto così

• Serenius (6/5): Pleasant - Ground floor room felt like a basement. End of winter cool and wet combined to make this a very cold, damp experience. The shower was only hot in the morning because they have solar heat the rest of the day, a great idea until you get three rainy days in a row and can't shower off the hiking sweat. Cafe was decent. Ladies working were lovely.

Rooms are quiet and clean, and for the price you can’t beat it. The cafe attached serves great food throughout the day. Thank you for a lovely stay, I hope I can return soon!

They had very nice cats It was not as organized as it should have been. They could not find the booking when we first arrived, we received no proof of payment and when we checked out, they couldn’t find a note that we paid. It just could’ve been more organized.

Well located in the middle of Lakeside but in a calmed street. Do not miss the terrasse above Wendy Juice and their amazing fruit smoothies for breakfast.

• Emily (9/5): Superb - A very friendly hotel and the cafe is superb! My favourite mint lemonade and brownie in town. Some net curtains would mean I would not use as much electricity as the room overlooked the neighbouring swimming pool and I had to keep the curtains closed and lights on.

• Annika (7/5): Good - The staff is very nice and helpful. We could store our luggage here during a trekking. The location is great We had a room with fan which was so hot we could barely sleep. Thr fan was loud and almost felled down. Bathroom was not very clean but ok. Ok for a short stay. The neighbour hotel was so close our windows where very close so therfore it was loud and we needed to close the window so they can not see inside.

• Charlotte (9/5): Nepali cottage is the best place to stay! - The setting of the guest house was great, its slightly set back from the road making the rooms super quiet and with a lovely little courtyard for space to chill in. The staff were so kind and helpful, they ensured they could help in any which way! Absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommend to anyone. Great juice shop at the front of the house, lovely breakfast and really yummy juices!! There was a slight damp smell in the rooms from the bathroom but this totally couldnt be helped.

• Katja (7/5): Good - Very helpful staff!! Nice location. There weren't any air ventilation in the bathroom so it smells moldy. If one took shower in the evening, toilet floor was still super wet in the morning. Wouldn't stay longer because of the air quality problems.

• Zdenek (10/5): Great and affordable place to stay in the centre of Pokhara! - Everything was very clean and tidy. Welcoming and helpful owner and there is also a little cafe that is a part of the hostel where we could get very good breakfast and many other things.

The host is super helpful and provided us help with activities, bus tickets and even organized a place we could be for a job interview. Highly recommended!
• Ilaria (10/5): Just like home! - Me and my friend Maria stayed at Nepali Cottage Guest House for many days during the last month and we loved it. The atmosphere is cozy and familiar, and the owner has been very helpful with us, like family! Also, breakfasts and lunch at Wendy's Juice Shop, connected to the guest house, are just amazing and the staff there is always friendly and welcoming. The guest house is our safe place in Pokhara, so we really suggest to spend some time there!
