Important Information
Please be informed that Nyepi (Silent) Day is observed annually in Bali as a prelude to Balinese New Year. It is a day of absolute silence throughout the island when noises and lights are kept to the minimum, and no outdoor activities (including check-in and check-out from the hotel) are allowed. The upcoming celebration will be held on 25 March 2020. Please contact the hotel directly for more information.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE that there is ongoing construction next door (as is common in many areas of Bali right now). Adjacent to our villa, there is an ongoing construction project scheduled between 8 AM and 5 PM. We want to be upfront about the potential noise during these hours. While we understand that tranquility is a crucial part of any vacation, we've taken steps to offer you an amazing deal during this period. As a result of the construction, we are offering significantly reduced villa rates per night(-50%). But that's not all! We are pleased to include complimentary breakfast for everyone each morning, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of our villa and its surroundings at an unbeatable value. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

- KOMALA (5/5): - Nice pool, spacious villa, It's just beautiful It would be great to text a night before asking if we would like breakfast the following day.
- fahad (10/5): -
- Grace (10/5): - My family had a really comfortable stay here. Really enjoyed the location and the hospitality of the staff
- Leanne (10/5): Fab Villa - Komang and all the staff were excellent, the breakfast every day was delicious and Komang was always so accommodating , they cooked dinner aswel a few nights for us and it was great value for money and as good as any restaurant, highly recommend
The villa is very spacious and clean lots of
Lovely restaurants nearby especially Gente around the corner it was excellent
I would definitely return here again we had a great holiday.
- Ricky (7/5): A lovely villa that needs some refurbishment to ensure it retains its lustre - Komang, the housekeeper was lovely and could not do enough to help us, including sorting out a lovely birthday breakfast. Rooms were well cooled and beds firm but comfy.
Villa is tucked away down a quiet and narrow side street, but still only a short walk to Changgu centre. There were only a couple of villas around it.
No building work took place whilst we were there, so there was hardly any noise. Excellent pool which is surprisingly long for a private pool. Also a lovely secluded garden. Pool and garden were both well maintained. Rooms were clean. Furniture in property (outside and sitting room is tired or past it, with seats outside needing urgent replacement. They are unsafe as the wood is rotting. The seats in the living room need new cushions.
We stayed over Nyepi, which meant we had to cook. We had serious problems with the gas oven which would not turn off after we used it. This was bizarre. Since it was Nyepi, no one could come out. We ended up disconnecting the gas cylinder.
Then we lost all water to the property for 24 hrs. Lucky we had a good drinking water supply, but again, no one could come out and we couldn’t wash.
We also discovered that the fridge was not working properly when some of our food had spoiled in one day. Maybe time for a new one.
Finally we lost internet access for 12 hrs.
All of these problems were passed to the housekeeper who did her best to resolve them. We asked her to ensure the owners/ property managers were made aware of the multiple issues we had faced (and that should not be the case in a villa of this type). Surprisingly we never heard back from them at any point.
This is a lovely villa which now needs some proper TLC. The interior is lovely, but tired, especially the external wooden furniture. I accept that few cook in their villa in Bali, but if they do, the appliances should all be working and safe.
I am genuinely surprised that we did not hear from anyone regarding the issues we had faced, and were not offered some sort of compensation for the considerable discomfort we suffered during the early part of our stay.
- Kylie (10/5): The team made us feel very welcome 🙏🏻 - Villa Daya was clean and comfortable. Was great for the family. Everyone had their own space. The pool was a great size and always kept clean.
Breakfast was lovely each morning.
- Tamai (8/5): Great location - Great location, large bedrooms with bathrooms and good communal space. Needs a little TLC
- Sara (10/5): Thank you Komang for a lovely stay, I would recommend it to anybody. - The atmosphere; the open Indonesian architecture; the size of the place; the location; the great Italian seafood place across from the gang; the warungs all around; the peace and quiet; Komang and her awesome service and presence.
- Neha (8/5): Very good - The rooms are large and the common areas are well spaced to make it comfortable for all.
The staff on premises is amazing! And made a great breakfast even in days we had to leave early in the morning.
- Taylah (10/5): Amazing for the most part - The pool was fantastic and it’s close to the shops. Komang was a great host too and made the yummiest breakfast. The water was cold in showers for the last 3 days of our trip.
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, great breakfast & staff were lovely. The property has no sign out the front so it was hard to find. Beds were a little hard.
- Kashya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Romain (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matthew (10/5): Definitely recommend!! - Staff were great and cleaned the villa everyday and made us a lovely breakfast!! Good location and easy to get around. Villa faculties great.
- Dorne (7/5): We enjoyed it - A beautiful house Nothing I did not like but the location… was hoping it was closer to the beach
- Peter (8/5): Very good - Construction is happening on both sides of the villa, especially on one side where there is no privacy, especially uncomfortable for our young teen girls to relax. And we weren't told about when we booked! And I think it needs a little maintenance around the villa. The pool is a bit cloudy, doors, glass doors, taps.
- Cassie (9/5): Loved our stay! - We got cooked breakfast every day if we wanted it at no extra charge and if we didn’t feel like breakfast that morning they cooked us a dinner instead which was delish. It was our friends birthday whilst we were over there and they organised decorations for the villa for us. They were all very polite and accommodating. Location - is a little bit out of the main area of Canggu where we spent most of our time. Not a lot of walking distance pubs/clubs/cafes around.
- Marko (9/5): Very nice Balinese experience - Traditional architecture. Layout of the Villa is very smart, dividing the living and sleeping part. Very comfortable. Location is in the heart of Canggu, but you don’t hear the crowds from the street. And Komang Koko was extremely friendly. She prepared excellent Balinese dinner for us 😋 Maybe Villa need some refurbishment.
- Kumetis (10/5): Exceptional - The location was great! Very near from the ocean and our favourite coffee shop.
The pool was the right size, always under the sun, so water in it - always good temperature.
- Lidia (8/5): Very good -
- Riri (7/5): Great pool and good size for large groups but needs some serious refurbishments or renovations. - Fantastic location. Lots of conveniences just a short stroll from the villa.
Great size for a big group (hard to find villas this size in Canggu location).
Huge pool with lots of outdoor space. - Needs some updating and refurbishments. Because of all the wear and tare, it never feel felt clean (there’s a lot of broken taps, lights, tiles and doors).
- The bathrooms are open air garden bathrooms, which is nice in theory, but it rained a lot so they were pretty much unusable (wet toilets, showers, towels, everything).
- rooms are all a good size with king beds, but be good to have a ceiling fan and more hanging space (there’s nowhere to hang towels or clothes to dry ).
- Breakfast served daily generally around 9 to 930. As we have a toddler who was up very early we requested an earlier breakfast, but this didn’t seem to be possible.
- for family staying longer than say three days it would be good to have washing machine facilities available.
- when we checked in (after check-in time), the housekeepers were still cleaning up after the previous guests. Maybe it was a garbage collection issue but there was still a lot of their rubbish left like beer bottles, and old food. It wasn’t great to see that still hanging around by the end of our stay.
- Angus (10/5): Exceptional - Loved our stay, great breakfast, responsive host. Komeng is an awesome lady very friendly. 10/10
- Angus (10/5): Exceptional - Komeng was an absolute legend. We all loved her breakfast and she was so nice to us. 10/10 want to go back nothing - perfect
