Le réveil a 4 h du matin par le camion poubelle…. Mais c’est en pleine ville donc je le comprends
• Eva (10/5): Ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt im Herzen Salernos - Die Unterkunft ist sehr praktisch gelegen: zum Bahnhof, zum Fähranleger und zur Altstadt sind es nur wenige Gehminuten. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und hinreichend geräumig. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit: Er gibt für die jeweilige Tagesplanung hilfreiche Tipps und geht beim Frühstück im Rahmen der Möglichkeiten auf Änderungswünsche ein.

• Mariusz (10/5): Doskonały do zwiedzania wybrzeża Amalfi - Apartament zlokalizowany jest w samym centrum Salerno, sklepy, dworzec, kawiarnie i restauracje znajdują się w odległości kilku minut od pensjonatu. Właściciel jest osoba ciepłą, sympatyczną, pomocną, komunikatywną. Jeżeli masz kłopot, Guido go rozwiąże. Dla podróżujących własnym samochodem - parking prywatny jest minutkę od apartamentu. Śniadanie włoskie jest serwowane rano. Vis a vis apartamentu jest również kawiarnia, w której jest cudowne włoskie espresso !!! Pokój z łazienką bardzo czysty. Właściciel polecił nam kilka wycieczek i wytłumaczył szczegółowo, z których skorzystać. Polecamy Salerno, ponieważ jest tanie, kameralne i idealne jako baza wypadowa na wybrzeże Amalfi. Very friendly and helpful host who gave a lot of useful information on arrival and on his website, also in English. Daily different breakfast with local specialities. Tiene una ubicación sumamente estratégica, cerca de la estación de tren y buses, así como muy cerca del puerto donde embarcan los Ferrys para recorrer la costa, y también del centro histórico. Quizás en las fotos no se aprecie, pero es un lugar con muy buen espacio. Las habitaciones son grandes, luminosas, cuentan con balcón, donde aparte de poder sentarte afuera podes secar la ropa. Lo mejor, y lo que destaca, es su anfitrión, Guido es un profesional. Sumamente amable, y asesorándote para que la experiencia sea excelente. Gracias Guido! Volveremos a Salerno, y a tu alojamiento sin dudas! Nada negativo.

• Hadjer (10/5): Séjour au top ! - Guido est le meilleur hôte que j’ai jamais eu ! Il nous a donné pleins de bons conseils sur comment aller sur la côte almafitaine, les incontournables à visiter, les spécialités culinaires à découvrir…etc. Pour l’appartement il est comme sur les photos avec des chambres et salles de bain spacieuses, très bien situé ( à quelques minutes de la gare,du ferry et du centre historique ). Côté propreté l’appartement est nickel, le manage été fait tous les jours.

The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was great, it had a lovely balcony as well. The room was cleaned everyday which was great after coming back from a long day out. The breakfast was one of the highlights, we always looked forward to it. The absolute best part about our stay was our host Guido, he told us everything we needed to know about the Amalfi Coast and gave us all the little tips and tricks that went a long way with making our daily outings that much easier and enjoyable! One of the best getaways we have had and we will definitely be back!! Nothing that we didn’t like, amazing stay!

• Rosita (10/5): Soggiorno "d'artista"☺️ - Ho soggiornato con mia mamma per un weekend, in occasione dell'evento di "Luci d'artista". Il sig. Guido mi ha contattata il giorno stesso in cui ho effettuato la mia prenotazione per accogliere eventuali necessità e richieste particolari. Mi ha fornito le informazioni utili per raggiungere la struttura dalla stazione centrale. Il giorno dell'arrivo ci ha aspettato in struttura, ci ha calorosamente accolte ed abbiamo condiviso un momento conviviale circa i posti MUST da visitare, ristoranti autentici dove poter cenare e qualche tips utile per un futuro soggiorno, che vorremmo ripetere in altri periodi dell'anno. Per colazione ci ha chiesto di "scegliere" cosa volessimo, dato che avrebbe preso da una sua pasticceria di fiducia qualsiasi prodotto fresco e tipico della zona. Il giorno del checkout ci ha permesso di lasciare i bagagli in struttura e di ritirarli nel tardo pomeriggio, prima della partenza. Definirlo "host" sarebbe decisamente riduttivo. Un gentleman della porta accanto.
• Brian (10/5): Great base for visiting the Amalfi Coast - Apartment was 5-8 walk from the train station, and an easy 8-10 min walk to the ferry terminal. Guido was a very accommodating and friendly host, very helpful with information regarding transport, places to eat and attractions. Breakfast was nice. Bed was comfortable, but was a bit creaky. Shower was excellent. Great place to base yourself for visiting the Amalfi coast.

De gastheer Guido ontvangt je supervriendelijk en geeft je voldoende tips over wat je kan bezoeken, waar je lekker kan gaan eten… in de ruime kamer is er ook een mooie badkamer en alles is voorzien. • M (10/5): Both the room and the host exceeded our expectations for our stay in Salerno. - The breakfast provided was fine. Every day something different. The location is very convenient, since the room is very close to the central train station o Salerno, bus stops and ferry boat dock to the coast of Amalfi. The host provided us extra information about the area, attractions, and best ways to get around, making our stay in the area easier. The room was very clean and has everything you need to stay for a few days.

• Christopher (10/5): Magnifico! - The property itself, whilst perfectly well presented and pleasant is typical for what you would expect in a BnB in a small Italian city. The location was faultless for being in the middle of the old city (but being away from it's noise) and nearer to the station for the walk back to the airport shuttle bus. What was exceptional, and the hidden treasure, was the host Guido, an exceptionally friendly, honest and genuine person who consistently went the extra mile to assist with my trip, including: helping to book taxis, personalised activity recommendations, thoughtfully curated breakfasts, loan of an iron and beach towel. Guido did not impose on my stay but was always just a WhatsApp message away when I needed him. He kept me company over breakfast (solo traveller) with great chat including of our past travels. Breakfast was provided, though sourced from a patisserie over the road, and Guido took pleasure in taking this opportunity to exhibit the products specific to the local region - these were all delicious. Coffee and juice were otherwise provided. I don't usually take the time to write a review, but felt obliged by way of thanks for a service I'd consider well over and above what I paid for. Air con could be cooler but it was honestly adequate whilst I was here and I'm just used to running it very cool at home. Shower didn't drain so well but when informed, Guido made sure this was cleared and this improved. Like in many places, the cleaner did tidy some of my things into drawers etc. which isn't to my preference as I had to locate them, but I know would be a positive for many.

• Alexandru (10/5): SEJUR SUPERB 5 STELE - Ne-a plăcut foarte mult locul, este într-un bloc vechi, reabilitat total, plin de istorie, unde se poate vedea foarte bine cum intri in el si vezi liftul, totul reabilitat si nou, gazda este foarte primitoare! Am călătorit mult in lume dar gazda ca el nu am găsit nicăieri, recomand cu draga inimă încercarea de a prinde loc liber la aceasta cazare. Imediat de la aeroport o sa iei autobuzul si te lasă in Gara Salerno, iar de acolo ai 10min de mers pe jos pana la cazare, ajungi foarte foarte repede. Este aproape de port, ai totul acolo. Gazda este un bun vorbitor de limba engleza, un ghid, si te poate sfătui sa vizitezi orice in zonă. Jos palaria, o sa ne întoarcem de drag aici! Micul dejun este compus din dulciuri, cine este obișnuit să mănânce carne dimineața si alte lucruri sa nu viseze, dulciurile au fost foarte bune si cafeaua.

Large, spacious, with everything you could possibly need. Comfortable and spotlessly clean, even overly meticulously prepared. The information and attention, as well as the directions and suggestions for the vacation were very valuable and really guided us. Thanks to the warm and hospitable approach, we felt like we were at home. The fact that we did not want to leave the room on the last day was the biggest indicator of this. It was a very pleasant, peaceful and unforgettable accommodation experience in every aspect. Definitely a place we would like to come back again.

• Harald (10/5): Super Aufenthalt in toller Lage. - Tolle Lage, unmittelbar im Zentrum und in der Mitte um alle Verkehrsmittel zu erreichen. Das Zimmer war mehr als ausreichend groß, sogar mit einem Balkon im Bad, samt Möglichkeit um nasse Sachen aufzuhängen. Auch ein Kleiderschrank war vorhanden. Zum Frühstück gab es jeden Tag eine andere lokale Spezialität sowie Wahlweise Tee oder Kaffee und Säfte. Unser Gastgeber (Guido) hat sich im Vorfeld sogar um einen Garagenplatz gekümmert, und uns sehr liebevoll und detailliert mit Tipps für Ausflüge und Lokalitäten versorgt.

Guido, una persona fantástica, con una comunicación en Español perfecta. Desayuno excelente. Recomendaciones increíbles.

Además cerca de la estación de tren y del ferry, clave para el que va en plan de moverse en transporte público. También destaco la limpieza, la comodidad, la simpleza y el buen gusto del departamento. Pero lo que nos llevamos es la calidez de Guido, todos los consejos y tips para recorrer la Costa Amalfitana que nos compartió , los ricos desayunos con la clásica pastelería de la zona. • Neil (10/5): Perfect, independently run apartment for exploring the Amalfi Coast, Pompei and Paestum - Lovely apartment in a spot convenient for train station / airlink bus stop / ferry point for Amalfi Coast resorts / Salerno historic old town, all circa 10 mins walk. Guido is a super host, providing a wealth of visitor information to ensure you enjoy the best holiday experience. This is especially useful when visiting busy tourist spots like Positano and Amalfi. Guido goes to a local patisserie to provide fresh local pastries for breakfast each day, which also allows the time to catch up on your plans for the day ahead and take advantage of his local insight. He was also flexible to meet us for check in linked to our flight landing and transfer time and left us with block access for bags on our final day as we had a late evening return flight.

Guido is an extremely friendly and caring host. He recommended the best local restaurants and attractions to visit, including Ravello, which wasn’t initially on our list. All of his suggestions turned out to be amazing! The B&B was super clean and cozy. Breakfast was delicious, and it was a lovely surprise to find fresh pastries packed for us on our last day, so we could enjoy them on the train after checking out. There was a fridge in the kitchen with water available for guests, and we could also store our fruit there. The B&B is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from the train station, just 6 minutes from the ferry station, and close to the main pedestrian street of the city. We highly recommend this place and will definitely stay with Guido again the next time we visit the Amalfi Coast 😍

• Cheryl (10/5): The most wonderful B&B, with a perfect host, in an ideal location. Highly Recommended! - Our stay at Il Ritratto was absolutely wonderful! Guido, our B&B host was so welcoming and helpful. He advised us on all the things we could do locally, and further afield, and helped us with knowing what trains, ferries and buses to get. The room was spacious and airy and the bathroom was lovely, with a large overhead shower. It had a beday which was ideal for washing some clothes which then dried in no time on the balcony airer. The aircon was so welcome after a day out, and our little balcony overlooking the street down to the coast road was a lovely addition. The breakfast each day we were there (5 nights) was a selection of different local speciality pastries - different every day and such a treat! One night we decided to eat in with food from the local supermarket, and Guido set us up a table in the breakfast room before he left for the evening. There is a shared fridge and kitchen area where you can keep things cold, or get a hot drink as and when you like. Location-wise, Salerno is a lovely town, with both new and older quarters. We had some lovely meals out, and there are plenty of shops of all different types. The ferry ports are about 10 minutes walk, as is the station which has direct trains to Pompeii which is a fascinating day out. There is a ferry to Capri which is must if you are in the region, as well as Amalfi, and Ravello, which was probably our most favourite place to visit during our stay. All in all, it couldn't have been better, and we hope to visit again one day. Thank you Guido for making us so welcome. Not Applicable!

• Xiaolu (10/5): Staying here felt just like being at home! - First of all, the location is absolutely perfect—the accommodation is very close to the train station and the ferry terminal, both within a 10-minute walk. Secondly, the room was very clean and spacious, and the mattress was the most comfortable one we’ve slept on during our entire trip in Italy! Additionally, the owner was extremely kind—he paid great attention to details and cared about the guests’ experience. He provided us with detailed guidance on transportation and sightseeing along the Amalfi Coast, helped us check ferry schedules, and even assisted in planning our itinerary. • Jackie (10/5): Comfortable and relaxing - Il Ritratto was a great find. It was very clean and comfortable, quiet at night, with a great shower and lots of little extras. It’s well located for getting around town, shops, restaurants, and is very near the sea front for strolls and the ferry to other towns on the coast. Guido was helpful and kindly. Will definitely recommend! Nothing.

• Heinrich (10/5): Für den ersten Besuch Salernos sollte man bei Guido uchen. - Die tolle Lage in der Altstadt und die Nähe zum Bahnhof. Guido gibt gute Hinweise für Reisende und wenn man vor der Frühstückszeit abreist, gibt es ein tolles take-away Paket. Das Zimmer ist (bei geschlossenen Fenstern) sehr ruhig. Die Treppen (10-15 Stufen) am Eingang muss man hochgehen, danach gibt es einen Lift. Alles so wie man es sich erträumt.

• Stephanie (10/5): Excellent base for exploring the coast, Pompeii, and Pasteum, with an unparalleled host - The location was fantastic, the room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast pastries were delicious. But the real star of this location is the host, Guido, whose tips and recommendations were invaluable. Unfortunately we were not able to visit the Amalfi coast due to weather, but Guido always had suggestions for backup plans.

The location was perfectly placed to allow for travel via the ferry and train. The breakfast pastries were delicious and fresh. There were lots of lovely restaurants within a brief walk, and the recommendations made by Guido helped us to make the most of our stay in Salerno. I really cannot recommend this lovely B&B highly enough.

The room was very nice and clean. We were served a variety of local traditional breakfasts and the location was excelent - about 5 minutes to the train station and 10 to the ferryboat.

• Jose Francisco PS Padua (9/5): OK - Location 500 m from the train station and 1 km from attractions such as the Duomo, close to restaurants, it is in a strategic location, being able to walk carrying luggage and at the same time walking to the attractions. The bed&breakfast is located in a residential building. Big and comfortable room. The very attentive owner sets a continental breakfast to the guest's choice, thus being able to avoid the typical sweet Italian breakfast. It also provides detailed information about all attractions in and around the city. No minibar in room.Very important.

Gerne wieder! - Nach drei Tagen Rom wollten wir die Amalfi-Küsten kennenlernen und hatten dafür diese Unterkunft ausgewählt. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, und die Lage war für uns perfekt: Garage um die Ecke, Fähranleger in 10min zu Fuß erreichbar, Altstadt mit unzähligen Ausgehmöglichkeiten auch in wenigen Gehminuten entfernt. Zimmer war modern, geräumig, gemütlich und sehr sauber. Guido der Besitzer hat uns perfekt mit (Insider-)Tipps versorgt. Unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen! Nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hat.

• Vossi (10/5): Beste B&B-Unterkiunft in Salerno - Guido war ein super Gastgeber. Vom ersten Kontakt an hat alles bestens geklappt. Die Wegbeschreibung zum B&B-Appartement war perfekt und der organisierte private Parkplatz war nur eine Minute entfernt und Guido hat uns hier sogar einen Spezialpreis verhandelt. Wir waren 3 Nächte dort und die Lage des Zimmers war sehr gut. Kurze Wege zur Fähre und den Bussen und nur ein sehr kurzer Spaziergang in die Altstadt von Salerno. Die Zimmer sind sehr gepflegt und waren sehr, sehr sauber. Auch die Restaurantempfehlungen von Guido waren ausgezeichnet. Wir waren 14 Tage lang an der Amalfiküste und diese B&B-Unterkunft war mit Abstand die Beste. Es gab hier echt keinerlei Kritikpunkte!
• MOOYOUNG (10/5): 친절한 호스트,넓고 깨끗한 방,유익한 정보! - 여기서 3박 했어요! 평점이 너무 좋아서 예약했는데 그럴만 합니다. 늦은 체크인에도 호스트가 친절하게 맞아주었고, 아말피,라벨로,포지타노 가는 일정에 도움을 줬어요! 체크인할때 몇시에 페리 탈 수 있는지, 언제 어디로 가야 편한지 일정같은것도 설명해주고, 맛집도 인스타메세지로 다 알려주세요. 방 진짜 넓고,깨끗하고, 아침청소 대박입니다. 겪어봐야 아는 부분.. 조식도 편한시간,좋아하는맛 물어보고 그때 직접 챙겨주시는데 빵도 맛있어유ㅠ 마지막날에는 일찍 가야한다니까 빵이랑 주스 포장까지 해서 방에 둬주시더라구요. +추천해주신 레스토랑이 진짜 맛있어서 눈물날뻔 했습니다. 꼭 추천해주는데로 가세요ㅎㅎ 아무데나 갔다가 후회했어요. 없어요

• Timur (10/5): A perfect stay in Salerno - Our Italy trip started in Rome and ended in Milan. We had several stops, one of which Salerno, and of all the stays B&B Il Ritratto in Salerno was the best! We were warmly met by Guido, who told us where we can eat, where to go and what to do. As for the room, it was so clean, spacious and cozy, and the daily cleaning was just as great. The private bathroom was clean and well-designed. The breakfast was also amazing, and as we left very early in the morning, Guido even put together a huge breakfast bag for us. In general, if you are on the Amalfi coast, you would better choose that B&B! Everything was great
