• Dace (7/5): Nice bungalow but quite noisy - Friendly staff, nice and comfortable bungalows, close to beach and overall good location. Restaurants nearby One of the nights there was boxing event happening until midnight so if you have to get up early there’ll be no early sleeping, even with earplugs it’s very loud with basses. I didn’t read noice complaints in booking but later found several on Google reviews. The events are happening several times a week. The other night there was a bar with loud music. The sink was leaking

• Tyler (9/5): Great stay, great value. I highly recommend! - The property is well situated just a short walk away from Long Beach and a multitude of great places to eat and drink. The area is a bit more lowkey making it great to relax. We were amazingly taken care of by Wattson! Nothing really negative but you do hear the local muay thai arena and live show bar quite well from your room. It is peacuful, but not quiet.

Well designed, comfortable rooms & beds. Loved the hammock on the terrace. Nice nature around- birds, frogs etc. Helpful staff & manager. Needs a few more towel hooks and shelves to store clothes etc.

• Maria (8/5): - Hotelli oli hyvällä paikalla lähellä rantaa. Huoneet olivat viihtyisät ja terassi pihallepäin oli kiva. Puutarha oli kaunis ja siellä kasvoi mangoja ja passionhedelmiä. Rauhallinen sijainti, pääsääntöisesti ei mitään melua. Yövyimme hotellissa 5 yötä, eikä huonetta siivottu tuon aikana kertaakaan. Saimme kyllä joka aamu 2 pulloa vettä ja uuden wc-paperirullan, mutta henkilökunta ei käynyt huoneessa. Yleensä tämä ei niinkään haittaa mutta 5 päivän aikana roskikset kyllä täyttyvät ja pyyhkeetkin olisi ollut kiva vaihtaa edes kerran. Hotellin vieressä on thai nyrkkeily stadion jossa äänekkäät ottelut muutamana iltana. Tämä ei sinänsä haitannut sillä melu loppui jo klo 23 aikoihin.

• Bo (8/5): - Trevlig värd som gick runt o hörde att allt var ok varje dag, bra städning o skön säng. Nära till restauranger på huvudgatan. så trevliga städerskor alltid med ett leende..Bra wifi o AC. Rent o fin städning. Vi är vana med små ödlor så inga problem för oss. Lite för långt tilll havet. Svårt sitta ute på altanen eftermiddag då solen låg på, ingen skugga. En pool vore fint att hänga på vid eftermiddagen !

• Basak (8/5): Overall a very cosy stay - Our stay was very cosy without any problems. Mr. Watson and his team were very friendly. Rooms were clean and in the middle of the trees and the green. Our room had smart tv and bed was also comfortable. Depending on which side you are staying at, it can get loud in the evening due to the bars in the main street, but this did not bother us.

• Susann (10/5): Clean and modern bungalows in a wonderful garden 5 min from beach. - We stay in bungalow 02 for 10 nights and loved it. Everything was super clean and spacious and the garden is very beautiful. Mr Watson, the owner is super friendly and helps with everything needed. The location is great, as you barely hear the street noise and it’s only 5 min walking to the beach. Restaurants and an amazing food/coffee/pancake stand just around the corner. Yes, there is a Thai-Boxing center close by and 1-2 times per week when they perform a fight, you can hear it a bit but it was over around midnight and not too loud, we had no problems to sleep.

• David (9/5): Hôtel de très bonne qualité - Petit hôtel de 16 bungalows bien situé a 5 mn a pieds de la plage et des restaurants, bar et commerces. Les chambres sont grandes, calmes, très propres et bien équipées. Literie confortable et mise a disposition de serviettes de plages. Le hamac sur la terrasse est bien agréable. Accueil tres aimable du manager qui fait tout pour répondre a nos demandes et faire que le séjour se passe bien. Ils nous a organisé une demi journée (5h)pour faire la tournée des belles plages du sud en taxi privatif pour 6 et lorsque nous avons eu une annulation d'un taxi réservé il nous a organisé en 5 mn le transport pour aller passer 2h a old town avec son pick up. Joli jardin au cœur de l'hôtel. Il serait utile qu'il y ait pendant la journée toujours quelqu'un a la réception pour répondre aux besoins même si le gérant est joignable par whatsapp . C'est un petit plus qui ferait la différence.

Ebenfalls die Speedboat Ticket haben über ihn gebucht. Toller Service. Klimaanlage zieht über ein Bett, was unangenehm ist.

• Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - We had a really lovely stay at ToongYoong, thanks to Mr Watson and his kind family (and their fluffy cat). The grounds they’ve created around the bungalows are beautiful, with lots of fruit trees and greenery, which makes it feel very peaceful and welcoming. When we arrived, we were given a choice of two bungalows. Mr Watson was very honest and explained that the one we chose was close to a reggae bar, so we might hear music at night. We did hear music on one evening, but it didn’t bother us at all and we slept through it. Our room was very comfortable, with a large bed, air conditioning, and a great walk-in shower. The bungalows are close to the main road, with plenty of restaurants nearby within an easy walk, or you can quickly grab a tuk tuk or taxi. There’s also a local shop on the corner for snacks, drinks, and other essentials. The beach is just a three-minute walk away and absolutely incredible. Mr Watson was also extremely helpful with arranging trips and transport for us, which made everything very easy and more affordable. We love Koh Lanta, and when we return we will definitely be staying here again. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. Mr Watson is the man!

Down a quiet alley which was safe, but something I was aware of as a solo female traveller. Could hear locals partying at night during the weekend.

The host, Watson, he's a very nice person, he's very friendly and helping us with anything we need. Water pressure is a little bit weak, but it's ok
• Kevin (4/5): Not worth the money. - Not much Noise from boxing, bars, road etc..etc... Room smelt wierd. Plastic chairs...not at the price this place charges! Just plain wierd cleaning. If you didn't want cleaned you got 2 water that's it. No coffee, no sugar, no nothing. If you wanted cleaned ....they were the slowest cleaners in Thailand and even then did a "meeh" job. Left the room at 0830.....1400 still not done. Max rooms they had to clean while we were there...8 and there were 2 of them. It just is a strange place.

Rooms are spacious and AC works great Soundproofing is not ideal, some bungalow’s share a wall and you can hear (crying children) next door but also in the evening the music from the bars in the area. The mattress and pillows were a little hard but that depends of your personal preference

• Karoline (9/5): Gute, ruhige Lage im Norden - Unglaublich lieber Inhaber, der absolut hilfsbereit bei jedem Problem zur Seite steht. Die Bungalows liegen sehr ruhig. Ich war 7 Tage dort und nur an einem Abend konnte man bis ca 12/1 Uhr von der Bar Musik hören. Jeden Tag gibt es frisches Wasser. Dusche inklusive Warmwasser hat top funktioniert, Klimaanlage ebenso. Fußläufig ist Long Beach erreichbar. (Unbedingt den fruit smoothie auf dem Weg dort hin testen) Ich glaube, man muss seinen Müll selber wegwerfen, denn es gab kein klassisches Zimmerservice jeden Tag. Vor dem Bungalow stehen aber kleine Mülleimer, ich habe nur vergessen zu fragen.

• Brigitte (10/5): Ruhe und Entspannung. - Einfach alles, Watson war super herzlich und nett und hat sich um alles gekümmert. Die Zimmer waren super sauber, mega gemütlich und sehr gut ausgestattet. Wasserkocher, Kaffee und Tee waren vorhanden. Täglich bekam man 2 Flaschen Wasser aufs Zimmer. In 5 Minuten am wunderschönen, langen Sandstrand. In der Umgebung viele Restaurants, Minimarket und ATM. Erwähnen sollte man, dass man hier am Strand wirklich keine Liegen und Sonnenschirme buchen kann. Man muss sich etwas unter den Bäumen suchen oder kann sich Lounges an den Restaurants buchen. Wunderschön ruhig und entspannt. Fällt mir nichts ein.

• Ana Maria (9/5): Recomendable - Parece una tontería, pero fue el hotel de toda mi estancia en Tailandia donde me pude duchar con agua verdaderamente caliente y muy buena presión. Nos ponían agua gratis todos los días en la nevera. El personal es muy atento, puedes alquilar moto allí mismo por 250 bath el día El sitio es algo "cutre" pero realmente tienes todo lo que necesitas y está muy limpio, ten en cuenta que estás en plena naturaleza y tendrás que convivir con mosquitos y alguna pequeña araña en el techo, pero lo normal en un sitio donde hay tanta naturaleza, nada preocupante. No hay secador de pelo, tenlo en cuenta.

• Ursula (8/5): Chill place minutes from Long Beach. - Chill, good location 5 min walk to the beach and to restaurants, etc. The owner and his family take good care of the place and take a lot of pride in it. The serene property has mango trees and passionfruit growing throughout. The bungalow we had (they’re semi-detached, meaning two bungalows share a wall had a mini fridge, ac unit, wardrobe with a little hotel safe (not enough for a laptop, but rather passport, etc.). Overall great value and we’d stay here again! Bugs/flies get inside the second you open the glass sliding door - a mosquito screen would be ideal. Also our bungalow didn’t have the hammock for some reason. Also a table or a bench to put stuff down on under the wall-mounted TV would add a lot of comfort for the guest.

• Melanie (6/5): Find another location. - Nothing. I walked in then checked out. Had to eat the entire reservation cost. Did not look like the pictures. It did not feel island like or homey. Everything. Location wasn’t good. I found another property right down the road for $10/night more (USD) it was like night and day. This place was overpriced for what it was.

• Lexis (10/5): Best place on lanta - This family owned property is beautiful, with flowering bushes and trees throughout, as well as many fruit trees. It’s so peaceful, the perfect place to relax. The bungalows are spacious, clean, and all the furnishings seem new. The bed is comfortable and the shower was the best shower i have had so far in Thailand! The family is so kind, they really go above and beyond for their guests. Highly recommend this stay.
