You will want to have a tree house that is actually high enough though else you you dont have a large view. Clean. Acces to beach is via beach clubs, public beach ia about 300 meters off.

The location is super convenient—an easy walk to the beach, as well as plenty of nearby restaurants and bars, which made getting around really easy. The room was clean and comfortable, with reliable hot water and air conditioning that worked perfectly (a big plus in Tulum). Despite being surrounded by popular beach clubs and nightlife, my room was surprisingly quiet—I couldn’t hear any music or outside noise at night, which made it easy to relax and sleep well. I didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant during my stay, but they do offer breakfast and lunch on site, which is a nice option to have. Overall, a great spot if you’re looking for a comfortable, well-located, and peaceful place to stay in the middle of everything.

- Hanneke (1/5): Blijf hier weg - De hutjes zien er leuk uit en het is er redelijk schoon. Er wordt geadverteerd dat het een rustige oase is in het drukke Tulum. Niets is minder waar. De hutjes zijn uiteraard niet geïsoleerd en dat betekent dat je ieder geluid kunt horen. De hutjes staan naast een stampende discotheek en aggregaat die tot diep in de nacht zoveel lawaai maakten dat we pas om 5 uur ‘s nachts in slaap vielen. Ik heb dit aangekaart bij het hotel en verzocht onze tweede nacht te annuleren. Hoewel de receptie erg vriendelijk is, kwam “het hoofdkantoor” de volgende dag met het antwoord dat we niet konden uitchecken en misschien een andere kamer konden krijgen (waar de herrie niet minder van wordt). Er werd totaal geen begrip getoond voor de situatie. We zijn direct vertrokken en hebben een ander hotel geboekt. Zonde van het geld. Los hiervan: het matras is klein en keihard, de douche geeft lauw water en de klamboe die je tegen de muggen zou moeten beschermen is te klein en zit vol gaten. Geen aanrader dus dit hotel.

- Giacobbi (10/5): - Quel séjour inoubliable ! Passer la nuit dans cette bulle au cœur de la mangrove mexicaine a été une expérience absolument magique. S’endormir sous les étoiles, entouré par les sons apaisants de la nature, et se réveiller avec la lumière douce du matin filtrant à travers les palétuviers… un vrai rêve. Le lieu est à la fois dépaysant, intime et parfaitement intégré à son environnement. Nous avons également été touchés par l’accueil chaleureux et attentionné que nous avons reçu, qui a rendu cette expérience encore plus spéciale. Une parenthèse hors du temps que je recommande à tous ceux qui cherchent une expérience unique, romantique et ressourçante.

Location was perfect for beach clubs. Would definitely recommend! Bit of a walk to the colorful town up top and street gets dark at night.

Le personnel est très sympathique et répond très rapidement. Nous sommes rester 5 jours et c’était parfait. Le lieu est magnifique. Je recommande la suite.

- Gypsea Wanderer (8/5): A treehouse hut experience in the jungle at the beach! - We loved our stay at Mamasun! It was perfect for the two of us for our first two nights in Tulum! Samantha greeted us upon arrival and was super helpful! The location of Mamasun is great if you are looking to go to the beach clubs and be near the touristy area. We stayed in the lower level treehouse hut and it was super cool to look out and watch the birds that nest in the trees. It was very quaint and romantic. No complaints on staff or location. This doesn't really pertain to Mamasun directly but if you are looking for relaxation at night it is a bit noisy from the surrounding beach clubs/music. We did not notify staff but the light in the bathroom wasn't working behind the mirror. We did feel that maybe the window frames/panes could be cleaned better as with all the moisture there is a build up of black mold. We understand the moisture level at the beach. The shower floor boards probably could be replaced as well.

- katherine (1/5): Not going here again - Honestly nothing. Everything. This place is definitely outdated. Doesn’t look like the pictures. When it rained the water came into the room. My sheets were all wet. No front desk to speak to. I asked for trash bag since I’d didn’t even have a trash can in the room. We ordered breakfast that we paid for and for milk and ketchup they said they didn’t have we had to go buy even though they could of gone two properties over and purchased it since once again we paid for breakfast. There is no pool. Front desk told me in person we can go across the street to use the pool and they were going to charge us, we needed up paying 200$ usd and didn’t even use the pool. They definitely need to upgrade the place pictures do not look like the hotel. When we wanted to order food they had nothing in the menu maybe one or two things.

I stayed in the dome and it was a magical experience, watching the sunset through the window and being surrounded by the jungle was unforgettable. Great water pressure and hot water and the AC is good, clean linens, smelled great! You can hear your neighbors and the window coverings aren’t that great. You can see into the unit easily, it’s an octagon with full windows and drapes but barely. The restaurant is more vegan than anything, maybe 1 meat item.

La nuit le bruit est incessant et ne permet à aucun moment de se reposer avec la musique très très puissante des clubs voisins pendant une grande partie de la nuit et sans répit…bouchons d’oreille obligatoires😒

- Viktorija (7/5): Bigger expectations then reality - The staff were very helpful, excellent. Location is good if you like party as you will find it place for music, dance and drinks for sure. Concept of property is lovely. Quirky We have been placed to the very first bungalow which is fence away from Toxic club, which has banging music all the way until 2/3 am, so be ready to be awake if you don’t party! Then at 7:30 am generator or something gets working loudly, people talking like in the room and in 4 nights we haven’t had much of a sleep. Curtains doesn’t provide much of the privacy, had to bobby pin them. Bungalow smelled bit musky as well as towels and bedding. Nothing was drying inside and nowhere to hand it either after the beach. Rooms could benefit from fridge and bigger bin as there was only one and tiny in the toilet.

- Selen (10/5): Best stay ever ! Super nice rooms and caring stuff and secure - Best hosts ever! We stayed as 2 girls, the stuff was super nice and helped us with all our questions doing checkups on us as well. We felt ourselves super secure and the room was amazing with a hint of romantic vibes :)
- Jessica (3/5): Different to standard accomodation but disappointing. - We liked the idea of what the property would offer at the time of booking and that it was located in a great location. The property is right off the Main Street of clubs/bars and right next to one called Toxic. We were on the highest level and could hear the bass of the music into the night. We didn’t receive any check in experience to understand the property nor the expectations of water usage given this was our first time to Mexico. After experiencing some faults with the room over 48 hour period, we didn’t receive much support regarding solutions and ended up taking the loss of coat and booked alternative accommodation.

The staff were amazing, they were so helpful with ATV rental and anything we needed. The rooms are really cool, the restaurant serves yummy food. Our room was the closest to the road so it was very noisy from both traffic and clubs. There are neighbouring clubs (multiple) which unfortunately is not the fault of the hotel that it’s so loud but it was unbearable that the music was blasting until 2am, so we had to move rooms. This is the noisiest part of the strip for sure. Gabby at the front desk was so lovely about it we couldn’t be angry because she made sure the rest of our stay was amazing. Shout out to the lovely security guard too. If you don’t want to hear noise make sure you book the rooms at the back and not at the front. If you’re partying anyway this won’t be an issue for you.

- Jade (7/5): Enjoyed the location near the beach and the staff were helpful moving rooms due to the noise. - The staff are incredibly friendly and very helpful. The treehouses are really cool and the domes even more so The nightclub next door is quite loud over weekend nights until 1am at least if you are staying in the units closer to the road and we didn’t come to Tulum to party so this was very disturbing on our first night.
- Hanna (10/5): - The view from the room was incredible. The bathtub was relaxing and a great spot to watch the sunset. The location was nice, close to the public access beach, bars, and restaurants. A mini fridge would have been nice but not a deal breaker. The front desk is staffed 24 hrs and everyone on staff were very nice and helpful with recommendations. No mini fridge

- Susanna (6/5): Great location, friendly staff, and good value in Tulum hotel zone - I stayed at MAMASAM Treehouses and Cabins from November 11 to November 25 and had a very positive experience overall. The location is excellent, right on the lively party street in the Tulum hotel zone, while the property itself has a pleasant jungle-style atmosphere. It is within walking distance of the beach, clubs, and restaurants, and there is a 24-hour convenience store nearby, which is very convenient for longer stays. The staff is a clear highlight. Jorge at the reception is kind, dependable, and welcoming. Gabriela is friendly, professional, speaks good English, and manages communication efficiently via WhatsApp. Service feels personal and well organized. I stayed in Dome 4, which had a wonderful view. Breakfast was healthy and homemade, especially the yogurt with granola and berries. Dinner options were good, with the shrimp dishes and empanadas standing out. The staff throughout the property was consistently warm and helpful. The hotel is reasonably priced compared to many other places in the area and works very well for longer stays in the Tulum hotel zone. As with most places in this part of Tulum, mosquitoes can be an issue due to the jungle environment. Guests should come prepared with proper mosquito repellent. Le personnel très agréable et serviable L’emplacement est bonne , à côté de tout Malheureusement c’est situé à côté du club le ‘Toxic’ Si vous ne prenez pas une cabine plus loin et plus chère dans la jungle, la discothèque est dans votre chambre tout simplement. Aucune tranquillité. Malheureusement pour eux :( ils sont tellement sympathiques Sinon tout serait parfait
- Richard (9/5): Got to go here for at least one night if you visit Tulum. - People talk about quirky. Well this is quirky. Right up in the Gods with a view to die for. Amazing place with friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Short walk to the public beach.

Las habitaciones son muy cool, diferentes y con personalidad. Bastante limpia la cabaña que nos tocó, la decoración es estupenda y las vistas a la jungla y el cielo estrellado son maravillosas. Si volvemos en alguna ocasión a Tulum, repetiremos

- Bettina (9/5): Sunset & stars...views from the treetops. - The treehouse suite we had was D6. Our stay was for 2 nights. Such a treat to watch the sunset from our room and then the stars from our bed. Lovely copper bathtub to soak in while watching the sunset. Air conditioning worked well. Shower was good. Great to be surrounded by trees, all we could hear was the birds & sounds of nature. Very peaceful. Staff were very helpful & always available. Thank you Gabriella. Would have benefited from a small fridge and tea/ coffee making facilities.

Stor takk til Gabriela, og resten av teamet Myggen, men det er ikke deres skyld. Jeg er fra Norge, og vant til mygg, men det er annerledes her.
