vbraz (8/5): Lovely stay! - Our hostess was very friendly and helpful. The room is cozy and had all the amenities as advertised - it can get quite chilly in the evening, but we turned the heating on and slept very well. The property is located in a beautiful area near Castellina in Chianti and it's very peaceful, with a great view of the Chianti hills. Breakfast was plentiful with homemade pastries, cakes and jam. The only drawback was that the property is close to a road that is very busy in the morning and the windows are not double glazed, so we were woken up quite early by the sound of cars and trucks driving by - but it was a minor nuisance and didn't take away from the lovely experience of staying at Residenzia del Sogno.

Hansjörg (10/5): Entspannt in Wohlfühlatmosphäre - Das reizende alte Haus mit Charakter liegt gut erreichbar in der Nähe von Castellina in Chianti und ist ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung wie auch nach Florenz,Siena und u.ä,zwischendurch kann man auch mal am Pool faulenzen.Das reizende Gastgeberpaar trug zusätzlich dazu bei,dass man sich sehr wohl fühlt,und ist stets bemüht,Tips und Informationen zu geben.Das Frühstück ist umfangreich und sehr lecker und wird immer wieder durch Selbst gemachtes und Gebackenes ergänzt,kurz-ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen und Wiederkommen!

The property looks outdated but has characteristics of medieval charm. The homemade jam is so good. The property locates next to the main road. But it is not a problem for us as there are not many vehicles especially during the night.

Burnsh (9/5): Friendly family run hotel with apartment suites, parking and a pool - Delightful, traditional, family-run hotel a few kilometres outside Castellina in Chianti. We had a small apartment on the first floor - comfortable bedroom and another small dining/living room and a tiny kitchenette, that had all we needed for our stay. Easy parking outside the door. Friendly, helpful owners and lovely to eat breakfast outside on the terrace. Good restaurant right next door. It was perfect for us - we were attending a dinner in a vineyard a few km further up the road and had a car, so the location worked very well. It is, however, a couple of kilometres to Castellina so you do need transport.

The hosts were exceptional, the rooms were charming and comfortable, and the facilities were great. Breakfast was pretty good, and the hosts clearly put a lot of effort into it. The location is next to a fairly well-trafficked roadway, so there’s some road noise. While the restaurant next door was very good, it’s the only one within walking distance and it’s not open every night. Be aware of that before having some wine by the pool in the afternoon - you might have to drive to find dinner!

Am ersten Frühstück wurden uns Reiseführer zu verschiedensten Städten der näheren Umgebung auf den Tisch gelegt. Das Frühstück war fabelhaft, es gab verschiedene selbst gemachte Dinge wie Marmeladen und Gebäck. Alles in allem würden wir jedes Mal wieder hierher kommen 😊

La bâtisse est en bordure de route, mais il n’y a pas foule sur les routes de Toscane la nuit !
Uwe (10/5): - Eine wunderbare Location in einem charaktervollen typisch toskanischen Haus. Die hübsche Kleinstadt Castellina mit restaurants, cafes und supermarkt ist 2-3 km entfernt und mit Auto in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Nach Siena sind es rund 20 km und nach Florenz ca. 40 km. Also ideal für Tagestouren dahin. Das Haus mit Pool liegt ruhig an einem Hang mitten im Grünen. Es führt eine Landstraße direkt am Haus vorbei, aber das Verkehrsaufkommen ist nicht so hoch und daher auch nicht störend. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die persönliche Beträuung durch die Inhaber, die immer freundlich und hilfsbereit mit Tipps und Infos weitergeholfen haben.

Bailey (10/5): Perfect Stay in Tuscany - This place is a gem in the heart of Tuscany! The owners were so sweet and helpful, offering maps and guides to find wine tasting in the area. The breakfast included is incredible, homemade jams and pastries, along with a lovely meat and cheese spread. It was easy to get to--we drove from Rome and had no issues navigating. The nearby towns are adorable--we highly recommend!
