Guest Reviews
- Karen (8/5): -
- Ma Florentina (5/5): - very poor breakfast The room was to hot, the air conditioner only turn on when the guest is in
- enrique (8/5): Reconfortante - Reconfortante y limpió Elevador descompuesto, me tocó mal momento
- JOSE (8/5): -
- Karen (7/5): - I like this place. Great sleep over for shopping at Costco the next day.
- Ortiz (9/5): -
- Zain (6/5): - I was charged 500 pesos and this wasn’t standard practice in most places I have been for a deposit
- Ilda (4/5): -
- Salman (10/5): Ruby was an excellent host - Centrally located
- Claudia (10/5): Bueno!! - ---------------------------- --------------------------
- Raul (8/5): - Buen servicio
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Tamara (10/5): Exceptional - It was very clean and the air conditioner was very strong. It’s nice to have the breakfast included. No issues.
- Traci (10/5): Nice quiet boutique hotel, comfortable bed, good breakfast. - Friendly staff, nice breakfast, comfortable & quiet room at a great price. All good.
- Luis (8/5): Good - Very good
- Burak (7/5): Good - The room was clean , you can always find someone on lobby and they are ready to help It was breakfast included but dont expect too much.
If you wanna be close to seaside and beach its not correct location for you.
- Joyce (6/5): - The staff was friendly, but overall the experience could’ve been better. The hotel wasn’t very clean — while the sheets were clean, the walls, floor, and bathroom were not. The balcony door handle was broken and just taped over, which didn’t feel secure at all. The main door also didn’t seem very safe. The pool was out of service during our stay, and the breakfast was limited to just chilaquiles and eggs. The TV never worked, and the Wi-Fi signal was very weak. Definitely not what I expected.
- Mauricio (10/5): Buen hotel. - Excelente atención de la Sra. Ruby Rodriguez.
- Olivia (7/5): Good - The staff was really nice and the bed was comfy Bathroom had a funky smell, I didn’t really like the breakfast, the roof pool was dirty looking and we didn’t get any towels or rags even after I asked for them we had one towel to use between me and my baby son which was unethical. It’s also far walking distance from the beaches (1+ hour)
- Steven (8/5): Very good -
- Ludmila (8/5): Very good -
- Sara (6/5): - 1 night stay ahead of our next day flight, room was big with a minibar that was convenient, staff friendly, but amenities and cleanliness was not there. Only 2 bath towels in room, no hand towels or washclothes. Cleanliness was ok-ish, loads of crusted in grime and garbage bin was all rusty, giving super sketch vibes tbh. For one night was ok, good restos around, walked to a steakhouse that was delish and is acctoss the street from Costc0 if you fancy snopping into one.
- Mihaela (1/5): Very old, dirty and maintenance needed hotel. - The location Very dirty, very old, needs maintenance, there was no toilet paper i had to ask at the reception, there where only to towels very old and ripped the pool its more like tub in the bathroom u cant call it pool and also dirty. There was not even signage to use for not disturbe or cleaning needed .
- Sandra (7/5): Good for 1night stay! - The hotel is just a 20 minutes drive from the airport and was perfect for us since we arrive late evening. Good for 1 night stay.
Some restaurants nearby and a good grocery store just in front. Close to a main road and disturbed by the car passing. The rooms/windows are not well isolated.
- Maria (8/5): Very good - Personal was very nice to us and very helpful - Miguel £ Ruby are so sweet! location is amazing, shops and restaurants are walking distance, even mercado 28. Bed was very comfortable too, we had a great night sleep. Pool on the roof needs some attention and cleaning. Curtains in the roof had holes in them which were painted over, not sure why?
- Ilce (7/5): Good - It's located in a very central convenient place, close to everything by car. It has parking. And it's very clean. It has a small gym There is a noise in the hotel. All day and night, the room is too bright the shade of the windows don't close. There is a coffee machine in the room, but not coffee. No face towel. At arriving, they request a deposit for the room.
- Jose Alejandro (8/5): Nice Hotel with friendly staff - Nice Hotel, friendly staff
- Jon (8/5): Very good -
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Wuraola (1/5): We didn’t enjoy our stay, the room was dusty and the water wasn’t running well. It wasn’t pleasant at all - Nothing The curtains were dusty and now I am very sick cos I have an allergy and can’t resume work
- Olivia (8/5): Very good - The room was good, though, I first book a room with a Queen room (because we were 2 people staying) and it turned out that the bed was not Queen size but single. Apparently the size of the beds are smaller, so 2 people do not fit. Fortunately the staff was super generous and kind and could change us to a room with 2 beds. The person in the front desk that was in charge was extremely aware and could do the change of room. Excellent service. The breakfast is perfect, and the pool in the rooftop is nice. The size of the queen room just fits one person.
- Tobias (6/5): Good choice aslong as you don’t get a room facing the street - Clean rooms and friendly staff. We booked 2 nights, the first one we got a room facing the street which was rough to say the least. It had large glass facades which didn’t help with the noise coming from the street. Also the room got heated up pretty badly. For the second night we got a free room change and that did make all the difference not facing the main road.
- Hilary (8/5): Very good - It was cute and quaint. The staff was impeccable. Half of the lights in my room didn't work 😂
- Nishant (8/5): Clean, affordable and comfortable stay. - Affordable, clean and nice place to stay. They had breakfast included and it was good to have as first meal. Not many options but decent enough. They have a gym though I didnt use it. The location is a bit away from most of the things you would like to see. However, you can get taxi easily.
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional - Only stayed here one night, but, very friendly and helpful staff, good restaurants nearby, has parking and nice big rooms. Would highly recommend.
- Roxana (8/5): - YES
- Lyra (10/5): Exceptional - Love the location across from the park. The gym is small but has everything I need for a good workout. Breakfast is free and yummy. Rooms are clean and beautiful.
- PERRY (10/5): - First off...our stay was great! We found Kabah to be a great find. Very well located for our needs of Dr appointments in Cancun. Easy access to Uber. Room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, served fresh and hot...not a self serve buffet. Didn't particularly like the coffee but adequate. Fresh OJ was great along with my omelet. Everyone was friendly and polite from start to finish! Thank you...will definitely stay again!
- roberto (8/5): - Ubicada
- Maryoricolina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Markos (7/5): Just in front of the park - It is well located, just in front of Kabah Park. There are good restaurants in the area. The breakfast was a bit simple. The taxi service to the airport offered by the hotel doubled the price of the ones that you can get from Uber, so just use the app.
- Paulette (2/5): Good for desperate - Nothing Old, rooms not as clean as they should be , curtains have balding spots where light comes through, patches on walls , bathroom drain full of hair, room looks not as good as pictures on website ,no coffee in room they try to sell you pods so you can use the coffee machine that’s in the room, it’s basically a bad dream
- Huanita (8/5): Very good - the hotel is a new modern base as in the pictures it is very far, 10-20 km from the beach and the hotel area. Didi transport is ok, but there is nothing in the vicinity that can drive directly to the beach.
- Jana (6/5): - I would not call this a “boutique” hotel—it’s more like a motel located right next to a very busy, noisy highway. The windows didn’t close properly, so you could hear every car and truck passing by as if they were in the room with you - all night. After a 20-hour travel journey, you might want to rest and relax, but unfortunately, this was not the right place for that. If peace and quiet are what you’re looking for, I would recommend considering other options. Also there was a constant smell of mold in the room and on the hallway.
Although the staff working at the reception was very nice! You can park your car very safe here with a security guard.
- Jessika (6/5): Pleasant - Bed was comfortable and we had an option to check in early for a cost. Staff at the hotel were lovely Location very far out from the city and from the beach. Restaurants however to close to the accomodation. Pool was dirty and unkept, and hotel in general is quite run down.
- Treacy (6/5): Would have been perfect except for that recommendation of desk clerk. - Great roomy rooms, clean, convenient location, brkfst available Where things went very bad is, the woman desk person, on the last night we arrived before going home, assured us, that for 25$,she would have a taxi pick us up at 4 am, for 6 am flight out of Cancún. She said it was a reliable company that they always used. So at 4am we were outside waiting, asked the night shift guy where the cab was, he checked and said 30 min ! Needless to say, we started to call an uber when the night shift guy came downstairs and said the cab was on its way. Ended up getting to the airport, but dropped at wrong terminal, so ended up beyond 1 hr final chk I time and couldn’t get boarding pass for the Cancún to mex city leg of trip. Had to rebook flights costing $$
- Katrine (6/5): Shoprt pitstop away from ‘party-Cancun’ - Really nice and helpfull staff Location just off large roads. Rooftop area in poor condition. The building in so-so shape. No furniture on the balcony. Not very cosy, but its fine for a few nights.
- Janie (7/5): Needs some TLC - The bed was AWESOME! The staff were very kind and helpful. The water dripping from the ceiling, dirty wet towels strewn across the floor, and puddles of water on the floor - mostly in and around the elevator.
- Melissa (10/5): - bien
- Karen (7/5): Good -
- Arturo (8/5): - Me gustó todo el complejo
- Renee (8/5): Good place to see - Clean, good location, friendly staff , great value
- Jorge (9/5): Superb - Good clean rooms,good price
- Lyra (10/5): Great stay! - The room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast was good. Small gym with free weights, and It’s located right across the street from a beautiful park and grocery store. Great value! I was happy with everything
- Melissa (8/5): - Lovely quick stay near the airport. The lack of functioning locks on all 4 of the patio doors was a significant concern.
- Lori-ann (4/5): Disappointing - Breakfast was mid location was good Balcony doors couldn’t close and when it rained my room was basically flooded
- Ernest (6/5): Pleasant -
- Delara (8/5): Very good -
- HENRY (8/5): - The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of various grocery stores and restaurants. The building is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly.
- Gustavo (6/5): - Me hicieron doble cargo a mi tarjeta de crédito
- Nava (6/5): Not bad but could be better - The location was perfect! Quiet place!! The A/C didn’t work!! And the “orange juice” at the breakfast is not real orange juice!
- Hilda (10/5): Great hotel I stay at every year I visit. - The place was very nice. I've been staying at Kabah hotel each visit over the past 5 years. Excellent shower, comfy beds, Easy parking, great breakfast included. Hands down my fave hotel in Cancun. Very good area. Lots of shopping options and local restaurants.
- Liz (6/5): Pleasant - Great location with 24HR lobby staff. The elevator is broken. Flight of stairs to go from sidewalk to lobby, then more stairs to get to the room. It was hard with luggage.
- Kate (8/5): Great for a short stay in Cancun. - Lovely stay, we only stayed for one night but it was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly. We really enjoyed the restaurant that was on site and the breakfast was nice. Slight downside if you wanted to use the gym the treadmill was broken.
- Karen (9/5): Superb -
- Pryszlak (10/5): I am very pleased with my stay! Thank you - Cozy hotel in a quiet location. It had everything I needed for one night. Great staff! They gave me a room where I could shower before my flight, which was in the evening after I checked out.
- Darragh (8/5): Very good -
- Arianna (7/5): Good -
- Friederike (5/5): Acceptable for the price but they could do a lot better with a few simple adaptations - Nothing was particularly well (nor bad), we chose the hotel because of the location. The internet was basically not working, it was impossible to use because it was so slow. The breakfast was also taking a very long time, for toast with Marmelade we waited nearly 45 minutes. It’s a bit of a weird setup in the hotel with tour operators and shop as well
- Vijaykumar (10/5): Exceptional - Close to everything, the staff were helpful and engaging..
No request too much trouble. I'd like a buffet breakfast
- Taivanbat (3/5): Poor - generally unclean
- Fernando (1/5): We spent an ugly stay. - Nothing The elevator did not work. So there is a large stair from the street to the lobby and our room was in the 3rd floor. So can you imagine. The restroom had only 2 towels. No small towels and when we claimed they told us that we have to wait until the next day.
- Jose (8/5): Good hotel, great value for the money. - We really liked how clean the hotel was. Also, the location. It's far away from the hotels zone and yet close enough to many convenient places. The value for the money you pay, it's hard to beat. It could used some updates .
- Vladimir (8/5): Reasonable hotel in not so touristy parts of Cancun. - The room is pretty good and the beds are comfy. Not too far from the city center. For the three days we were there, the lift did not work. There was a coffee machine in the room, but no coffee or tea.
- Greg (8/5): Not recommended - Nice person to check in Is nice stay but not is clean
- theatlanticviewns (4/5): Basic - needs work - Single traveller booked for 3 nights and paid 60$ US a night. At that price the hotel is ok even though the hotel needs major upkeep.. Check in was quick, the elevator worked, there was no AC in the lobby, hallways or the gym but the room did. It was turned off when I got in so had to turn it on and get it going. Room is pretty basic with little upkeep. Stains on walls, curtain with rips, some stains on sheets, found a long hair in the sheets, some stains, but checked the mattress and no bugs so again at that price it’s fine for me. The room has a mini fridge, a safe (both worked) a coffee pod system (no coffee they apparently ran out, and a balcony. The TV worked fine with a couple English channels. There isn’t much to do around here - I went to Costco and got a hot dog haha. There is also a regular grocery store / department store next to it. There is a gas station the other direction from Costco I’m sure you can buy drinks and smokes there. I also walked around the Kabah park it was decent - lots of animals. After all that, I was looking forward to the rooftop and cool jacuzzi on it but the water was gross looking and the patio was all busted up and run down looking. Very sad looking and not very appealing. I didn’t go in, would rather have a cold shower than hang up there. The no coffee in the room sucks. I had to wait until 8am for the free breakfast to get coffee or walk 5 min to McDonald’s. Breakfast is simple but good including coffee, juice, fruit and eggs. It’s not a buffet, they bring it you.
I would definitely not stay here again or recommend it. There are no reasons to stay here when there are so many better places, with a nice pool, and coffee in the room, at this price.
- M13k (8/5): Very good - Clean room and comfortable bed . No A/C outside of the room ...
There is a gym in the hotel, but it's impossible to use it when temperature hot.....
