• Elisabeth (8/5): Super Unterkunft mit Check-in ca. 5min entfernt - Das Appartment war sehr schön und groß. Wir waren nur eine Nacht da, aber haben es sehr genossen. Die Ausstattung und Lage ist auch super, wir würden wieder kommen Zum Einchecken muss man zu einem anderen Hotel ca. 5 Gehminuten entfernt gehen. Das haben wir am Anfang nicht verstanden, da zwar bei der Buchung Hinweise zu Schlüsselübergabe stehen, aber dann nur abzuholen ab der und der Adresse, welche dann dort nur in japanischen Schriftzeichen angezeigt wird. Es wäre schön wenn an dieser Stelle noch ein Hinweis eingefügt werden könnte, dass es sich dabei um eine andere Adresse als das Appartment handelt. Trotzdem war unser Aufenthalt sehr schön und das Personal war sehr nett

• Faan Sing (10/5): 不錯!! 95分唄. - 員工服務熱情且細心, 會說明所有需注意事項. 另外房間設施十分新和整潔, 而且所需的日用品一應俱全. 房間空調非常冷!! 十分滿意. 唯一缺點是抽濕和乾衣不足, 雖然房間配有洗衣機, 但洗完後沒法做乾衣, 房間內空調也沒法滿足乾衣要求.

• Sarah (9/5): Gemütliches Wohnen in einer Seitenstraße - Die Unterkunft war für uns in guter Lage. Die Bahnstation war nahe dran. Ein Lebensmittelgeschäft und auch ein Waschsalon war in der nächsten Nähe. Wir haben die Waschmaschine in der Unterkunft benutzt und sind zum Trocknen in den Waschsalon. Die Seitenstraße war schön ruhig, so dass wir mit offenen Fenster schlafen konnten. Die Küche war für unsere Zwecke ausreichend bestückt. Es hätte noch ein Fensterabzieher gefehlt im Bad, dann wären die Wände schneller getrocknet. Ein Bügeleisen hätte alles noch perfekt gemacht. Und eine Anleitung für die Waschmaschine.

• Richard (6/5): - First, I don't think this should be classified as a "hotel." It is more of a vacation rental apartment. Next, I didn't understand the location of the apartment was not the same as the place to check-in, so I had to hike with my luggage 5-10 minutes to a location across from the train station. The staff is difficult to communicate with as they don't understand English very well and are busy cleaning rooms before 3pm, so you will have to call them. If you don't have international calling plan, they do have a What's App number you can call while connected to their internet, which they do respond to, luckily in my case. The other good thing about this place is that it's just around the corner from a nice grocery store and it has a washing machine; although doesn't appear to have a dryer, so you have to hang dry your clothes. Finally, it is convenient to Nijo station, which is convenient for travel to Arashiyama. My suggestion is that this place would be better suited for an extended stay situation rather than a quick visit to Kyoto.

• Vincci (10/5): - Nice property in a residential area a few blocks away from JR Nijo Station. We were able to have our luggage forwarded to the main hotel from our last destination and the front staff were extremely helpful. They have a separate English-speaking staff member for English-speaking guests to communicate with. Room was spacious though wished there was more storage space. Nice to have in-suite laundry but dryer was not very effective so we dried our clothes at the coin laundry nearby. The staff went out of their way to help us forward our luggage to our next destination, which was very nice!

Maybe the part that we have to check in at the main hotel (kyogura bettei nijo) is a lil bit inconvenience, altough it also near the nijo station. Suggest to just email the passcode to enter the building.
• Damjan (10/5): Exceptional - A nice small two-apartment house (we were a group of 5 people so we occupied both apartments) with all you need, and small but spacious enough rooms. Near the Nijo station, so convenient for traveling around. Steep staircase that is not big-suitcase friendly for the apartment B. :)

• Mimi (6/5): Somehow more like a hotel room than an apartment - Exceptionally clean, well equipped (though very dark, even on a sunny day) space with comfortable bed and spacious bath room. Close to Nijo station, making it easy to get in and out of Kyoto with luggage. Felt more like a hotel than having the privacy and independence of an apartment. Staff tried entering the room while I was in the bathroom despite explicitly telling me at check-in that there would be no daily housekeeping. When I ran out to open the door, I found that even though I had bolted my door, the connecting window to a utility closet? had been opened, giving staff access to the hallway. The experience was very intrusive and upsetting - after that, I didn't feel 100% safe or comfortable inside or leaving my belongings during the day.

The receptionist was friendly and it was easy check in process at the main hotel. We used the luggage delivery service from Tokyo and they brought it to the accomodation. Fast response when you sent them message. Recommended No microwave and clothes dryer machine

No microwave, no dryer , no ironing facilities and tried to contact front office in the morning but couldn’t contact them. Heard someone walking from upstairs in the night time. Bed wasn’t comfortable at all.

The room is fully equipped as well as all amenities, even laundry detergent is provided. Only few minutes walk to Nijo (both JR and metro). Already price-worthy but would be more superb if there’s a microwave.
• Mavis (8/5): Good budget homestay for two - Cosy studio unit with basic needs and amenities. Nearby Nijo station, mall, and restaurants. The bathroom has a private hot bath tub, quite relaxing. No clothes dryer and may not have enough hangers. Only normal washing machine is available, but no place to dry the washed clothes.

• Maria (7/5): Nice Japanese apartment - This is a Japanese house, with its pros and cons. Pros: its size, having the toilet in its own room, separate bathtub and shower, a kind of balcony to dry the clothes, silent environment if the neighbors in the other room abide by the rules of the property. Cons: there is only AC/heating in the main room (the bedroom - living room - kitchenette). We went in spring and it was okay, but I would never visit in winter. Also, the mattress was too soft and the bed cover too thick. In spite of this, we slept reasonably well.

We liked having a hot plate and cooking equipment, as well as a washing machine. No microwave or clothes dryer. There is a dryer at the main hotel, about a 5 minute walk away, but we found it faster to walk to the local coin laundry.

Physical location for this building is about 150 meters across the street (North) behind a super market (named - Kyoto Co-op super market). Great space, location, and washing machine for laundry / clothes; limited space to dry / hang laundry.
• soyona (8/5): - 먼지가 눈에 띄기는 했지만 관리가 잘되어 있는 편이었고 침대가 매우 폭신하고 편안했습니다. 체크인 해야하는 본관과 거리가 떨어져있긴 하지만 체크인할 때 맡겨 놓은 짐을 직원이 숙소에 옮겨 주어서 매우 편하게 관광할 수 있었습니다. 세탁기, 주방 등 기본적인 생활에 필요한 것이 모두 구비되어 있어 가족단위로 지내기 좋습니다. 역에서 가깝고 한적한 주택가에 위치해 있어 조용히 보낼 수 있습니다.

It also has a drag store, restaurants, and a super market within the walking distance.The house looks nice and cute. Because of this Japanese style house I felt I was in Kyoto.The room is clean and comfortable. • Siong Loong (10/5): The house is fantastic - We were quite skeptical as there was only one review found prior to our stay. Totally out of my expectation, the accommodation is superb! The location is just less than 5 minutes easy walk from JR Nijo Station, the big supermarket, drug stores and 24-hour convenience store are within 2 minutes of walking. The room is very new and clean, the bathtub, toilet and laundry area are all separated, clean and modern layout. The door lock system is easy and secured also. However, the accommodation has no front desk, the check in has to be done at another near-by hotel. The operator could have done better by simply post a notice in front of this house to inform people about this or write clearly in the fine print or email confirmation. Overall, the stay was excellent but got to be aware of the check in address!
