JAN (7/5): Overall, we had an okay stay but we were disturbed by other guests. - A warm welcome from the host - she was very nice. Large bathroom and comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room (and biscuits). Free, secure car parking for our car. Very noisy guests arriving late and talking outside of our door and slamming of doors woke us up and made it difficult to sleep again. No ability to have an evening meal or to have a vending machine close to hand. Sharing the one breakfast table with other guests because the eating and relaxation area outside of the bedroom is a communal space. Therefore, there is a dependency on other guests having a sensitivity for communal living in order for everyone to co-exist in a small space.

The pictures used on Booking.com are totally deceptive.The pictures must have been taken ages ago because it doesn’t look the same.The grass was not maintained,there was litter all over the place.The place is run down.The room we were put in was dirty with dirty furniture.

I appreciated how everything was so prepared for my arrival, from fresh towels being laid on my bed for a nice shower coz they knew how long my trip was, to the heater being kept on as it was so cold that night. A tea station was all set up for me to have a late night snack & warm up. Nothing.

Nicole (5/5): Passable - It was close to the venue of a function we were attending. The staff were very friendly. The aircon worked. The rooms were not how they looked on the bookings.com page. The sheets, duvet and pillowcases had marks on them - not sure if they had been changed after the last guests or if they were just old. The shower either had hot water or cold water, but we couldn’t find an in between setting. The curtains were old and coming off the rails. The room just look old and dirty. I didn’t feel comfortable climbing into that bed.
Byliefeldt (5/5): Passable - Shower - blocked drain, no shower doors. Headboards on beds not fixed - very uncomfortable to sit in bed with no back support. No back up lights in room for loadshedding during the night. When we returned form dinner at night we had to enter in the dark, only after we phoned the generator was started.

Anonymous (10/5): It was definitely a beautiful, memorable experience. - The pool! Plus the property is spacious and is perfect for the whole family. Definitely child-friendly. We absolutely adored the host and the staff, and the fact that we got to swim even after we’ve checked out. That was a lovely bonus. I was expecting the couches to be more modern and the channel selection to be broader, but other than that, all was well.
Annelien (9/5): Loved our glamping stay - The bathroom was gorgeous and my mother saw some antilope in the fenced off camp next to the other tent. The sleeping area was also very neat and the beds comfortable! The lady who booked us in was lovely and friendly and quickly got us settled and went above and beyond. There were some scattered bottles and wrappers left in the garden by previous visitors. We also struggled with the mosquitoes in the kitchen area, the living area was perfect though and the mosquitoes didn't bother us thankfully and there was doom provided.

Brent (1/5): The worst Guesthouse we have ever stayed in - The cottage was filthy, and required a thorough cleaning and mopping, while we stood outside after we had booked in. the damaged toilet seat went unrepaired the entire weekend. the bedroom curtains had to be sorted out, the kitchen curtains had to be installed while we waited along with the light fitting. all the dirt from the cottage had for months been swept onto the grass directly in front of the cottage, it was only cleaned after I showed them and ask them to clean it. The area around the cottage was covered in rubbish and was unhygienic.
