Salvo por dos personas, el que nos recibió y una chica que nos atendió en un turno en la recepción. Fueron los únicos amables y con información oportuna.

• Maximilian (7/5): Top Lage - Direkt am See gelegen und gleich neben dem Hotel ist ein Steg an dem man baden kann. Leider hat unser Zimmer sehr nach Putzmittel gerochen. Das Hotel Restaurant hatte leider wegen Renovierung geschlossen.

• Simon (7/5): A convenient and friendly place on Flores Island. - Hotel La Union is in a great location looking out over the lake - about 10 mins walk from the bridge over to the island. And the staff were super friendly and helpful. My room, 28, was pretty small and pokey. I guess I didn’t book a sea view. If you are there for any length of time, it’s probably worth having the view.

• Cecilia (9/5): Recomendable - Excelente ubicación, la isla es pequeña por lo que es completamente caminable todo desde el hotel. Esta frente al lago y tiene mini terrazas comunes desde las cuales puedes ver el atardecer con vistas directas al lago Peten Itzá. No habia separación completa entre pieza y baño por lo que se concentraba la humedad y era dificil ventilar la pieza, en mi caso la ventana daba a un espacio interior común y el baño no contaba com ventana propia. Cerca hay un hotel que realiza fiestas muy ruidosas en la terraza superior en la noche, llevar tapones para los oidos. La cama era algo dura.
• Andrea (8/5): - simple pero con todo lo necesario para que sea una muy buena estadia. el único tema es que hacia un frio inimaginado para Petén, por lo que no había mucha disponibildad de abrigo. Igual entiendo que es una situación excepcional. si hay aire y el baño impecable, al igual que la habitacion. me permitieron dejar sin problemas mis bolsos hasta la hora del check in. Tiene una terraza hermosa justo frente al lago! Recomendable si buscas algo sencillo pero en perfectas condiciones.

• Andrew (2/5): Vermin! Name the sort, we had it!!! - Location was good. Cockroaches, mice. The cockroaches on the first night in the bathroom (there were we ignored because we had a trip to Tikal booked and we couldn’t spare the time to raise the issue. But when we returned from Tikal, there was mouse shit on the freshly changed bedding. The person manning reception had to call someone to get authorisation to move us! There was no compensation, no apology – in fact, they said that they were unsurprised because it was a top floor room. So I suppose this is the information for the rest of you: make sure you’re not on the third floor! The bar is shockingly quiet and run down - the neighbouring bars are heaving at sunset because it’s of the westerly view and these guys can’t even afford to replace their severely deteriorated decorations!

PELIGRO!!!! ⚡⚡💀💀💀💀 WHILE STAYING AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT I RECIVED AN ELECTRIC SHOCK FROM THE SHOWER AND THERE WERE SPARKS COMING FROM THE SHOWER, AND MY FRIENDS IN ANOTHER ROOM HAD SMOKE COMING OUT OF A SWITCH WHILE SHOWERING, WHEN I COMPLAINED THE STAFF LAUGHED AND INSINUATED THAT IT WAS OUR FAULT FOR HAVING A HOT SHOWER!!! THEY LIED TO US MULTIPLE TIMES, SAID THEY SENT A TECHNICIAN TO FIX THE ELECTRIC PROBLEM, THEIR SOLUTION? TO JUST CHANGE THE KNOB OF THE SHOWER FROM A METAL ONE TO A PLASTIC ONE, THERE WAS NO-ONE IN CHARGE APPARENTLY WHILE WE STAYED, THEY GAVE ME A NUMBER OF THE ONE IN CHATGE OF THE HOTEL, HE HAST ANSWERED ANY OF MY MESSAGES OR CALLS, AND THE ESTABLISHMENT WOULD NOT GIVE US A REFUND AND LAUGHED WHEN WE ASKED, I'VE ADDED PHOTOS OF THE SHOWER BUT CANT PUBLISH HERE THE VIDEOS OF THE SPARKS COMING OUT OF THE SHOWER

The property is in a good location and close to all the bars/restaurants on Flores island. The property was really quite quiet when we stayed, though it was low season.

Pero seguro porque era fin de semana y festivo

La chambre était très vielle, petite et j’ai eu des doutes sur la propreté. J’ai pas bien dormi mes deux nuits pour ça. On entendait tout ce qui se passait dans la rue. Je pensais que le petit dej était inclus mais finalement non et il fallait sortir pour chercher un café.

There was a bar upstairs and a speaker with loud music just above my room . I learnt to live with it and it stop around 11 pm .
• Tracey (7/5): Clean, friendly staff but stupidly noisy. - Perfect situation especially for the incredible sunsets, however, on an incredibly noisy road, the terrace bar lets the whole hotel down. They pump music out with the bass levels shaking the entire building all day and until 11pm. So if you want a good nights sleep, don’t stay here! Such a shame

• Mario (10/5): Trip to La Isla de Flores - The staff were friendly all the time, the rooms were cleaned every day. Also was placed a small bottle of water every day. The loud noise from outside the hotel but was because of the fair on those days, so I understood the reason of the noises.
