The little home was perfect in every way, from the lounge room and fireplace, beautiful bathroom, modern and well appointed kitchen and hidden laundry with all you need for a comfy stay. The bed was so comfortable with an ocean view to die for as you go to bed and then wake up to…… did I not mention the view also from the lounge room ? Snow capped mountain peaks that are literally on the back door step. Thankyou so much to our hosts, you have done a fantastic job in setting up this lovely retreat. Whenever we are back in the neighbourhood we will be sure to stay again, maybe a bit longer. Thankyou again Gus & Kerry.

We were happy to stay there. It is spacious and comfortable with beautiful views. Living in Europe, you get used to seeing people everywhere, so I did feel a bit nervous out on a walk/run by myself.

The location is just outside the town of Kaikōura with both an unobstructed ocean view and a gorgeous Mountain View depending on where you are in the cottage. The cottage was spotlessly clean. This cottage was amazing, the facilities were very high end and the view on either side of the cottage was just breathtaking! Beautiful location, very secluded, which was also desired on our part, as we wanted to relax here for 5 days / 4 nights before our return journey. The furnishings are very high quality, kitchen well equipped, TV with app function. The bathtub is amazing. Saw dolphins twice from the bed with the telescope (also available in the house). The terrace at the back is quite sheltered from the wind, I could even sunbathe at 16 degrees and I wasn't cold. A clear recommendation!

- Sarah (10/5): Absolutely stunning. The views were amazing. The property itself was so luxurious, heated bathroom floors, faux gas fire - The privacy. We were naked the entire time there. Completely carefree was great The rainfall shower head. As females we don’t always want to get our hair wet.

- Dena (10/5): Luxurious stay! - Stunning, modern cottage with the sea in your front yard and mountains in the back! The unit is extremely well-equipped, the bed is comfortable and the gas fireplace is just lovely. This is a luxurious retreat and I’m sorry our visit was only one night! N/A

- Olga (10/5): Exceptional - One of the best accomondations I have ever stayed in. The view from both sides is spectacular. Also it was very clean and comfortable. Owner even left us binoculars to watch wild animals in the ocean. We are 100% pleased with our stay.

- Martha (10/5): Perfect in every way - We enjoyed being there so much we asked if we could extend our stay. Sadly, they were booked so we were unable to. However, due to how much we enjoyed our time there, we are hoping to come back next year and stay again. The cottage is so comfortable that we cancelled our dinner reservations and grabbed food at the local grocery and ate in both nights. With the ocean on one side, mtns on the other, why would you want to be anywhere else? Extremely well equipped with everything you could need. Comfortable, relaxing, and beautiful setting all rolled up in one. Thank you for all the special touches included in your cottage. Our favorite place in NZ so far. Nothing!
