• Joy (6/5): Clean rooms, need better communication - Room was clean and met expectations. However, we booked the room for my 19 yr old son. When he was checking in the desk mgr (at the La Quinta next door which is where you go to check in?!) told him he would have to pay $100 deposit because he was under 21. It does not state this anywhere on the website . He was also told it had to be cash, little shady there.

• Ricky (6/5): No comment - Easy access to Texas Motorplex. I had placed the do not disturb hanger on my door about 6am, the house keepers were passing in front of my door several times pushing the carts back and forth. I finally had enough and checked out.

We had to move the couch in front of the door because we couldn’t switch rooms. Bugs everywhere. I had beetles falling on me while I went to the bathroom. Holes in walls. Broken doors screwed together. Trim barely hanging on. Sheets were burned and it was a non smoking room.

• Anita (8/5): Good value for a decent stop in the road - This is an older, budget motel. It is clean, safe, has good ac, good shower and a bed that's a little bit hard. The sink is a little loud. It isn't fancy, ans we didn't try breakfast. You need to check in at the Super 8, and they were very nice. It is very functional, easy off/on interstate and a good value.

• Rachel (4/5): You get what you pay for. - It seemed relatively clean for the price. There was no incidental fee. We got a non-smoking room, but the room had an overwhelming scent of Marijuana. I was with my young children. It was only one night so I dealt with it. The blanket and curtains also had burn holes in them. The pillows were the worst I've ever used. They were flat as pancakes and there were only 2 per bed. I was in room 148 which is the same room another reviewer said she was in and said the people above her were smoking weed. They must live there and are allowed to smoke. The owners need to stop putting people who want a non-smoking room in 148.

• Jamie (3/5): It was incredible uncomfortable that they continued to come into my room for no reason. - The hot water was nice I did not like that online I had paid for my pet fee when I got there they said I did not pay my pet pee it's $15 a day per pet I did not have that so that was all okay I took my pets got them somewhere else while I was gone throughout the day they came in my room several times without my acknowledgment nor consent that is my domicile they're not legally allowed to do that they came in so many times that I refuse to leave my things and put all of my stuff in the car to take it with me almost felt completely harassed... Don't leave items or anyone alone in the room.. or travel alone.. the min fridge was leaking and I fell and hit my head... the bathroom light was sparking an dripping water.. over all was very uncomfortable and felt violated..I didn't feel comfortable enough to take a shower until I called someone to come be in the room with me!..

The property had an odour within the room which was as if someone had been smoking heavily during a previous stay. The cleanliness of the property was appalling. Roaches everywhere - dead and alive.

• Thomas (10/5): Amazing personel and great home away from home. - Quiet and secure. I travel with guns but I keep to myself and others did the same. Busy with pipeline workers and such, but never an issue. Kinda not well unkept drive to it from the highway. Flooding roads and city could do more to increase traffic to it.

I spoke to front desk clerk which however he acted as if he didn’t care. I asked to be switched to new room and he refused to move me. He lied and said no more rooms available will no go there anymore The room & bed and staff was rude to me when asked to move
• Page (8/5): It was nice, and I will be returning…as I always do (-: - The property was clean, very well kept. The room itself was super clean, with a wonderfully cozy bed to add to that. I loved the decor of the room as well, very asthetic and colourful. The restroom was nice, clean towels and clean bathtub. All in all, everything was what I expected and I would return!! I always do lol. There is nothing that I did not like about the property, except for one of the front desk receptionist one night that I checked in. She was a little rude, had an attitude and was very judgmental from the looks that she gave me. Not sure if it was my outfit, my race, my hair, Idk but it was an older white lady that wore glasses!! She kept giving me the rudest looks/side-eyes, and I really did not appreciate it being that I am a frequent visitor here!! Other than that, all of my visits have been pretty decent overall (-:
