Cheryl (9/5): AMAZING THANKS - The location was superb and the grounds of the hotel were amazing! Food in the restaurant tasted absolutely delicious! The pillows on the bed were a little too hard for me so did not sleep that well but okay.
Judith (6/5): An okay hotel - The receptionist on arrival wasn't about but the guy who gave us our key was very nice, cheerful and funny. The room was a nice size, nice and clean. Not enough teabags but in fairness we didn't ask for more. The bathroom needed frosted glass as if we hadnt pulled the blind down even in the daytime we would have been very overlooked. The breakfast was poor at best. Nothing was ready until 8.15. There were about 4 couples waiting. The said hot plates we waited for were actually cold. Eggs and tomatoes almost raw and warm. Nothing was piping hot. I dont eat a cooked breakfast and was dissapointed with the choice. The croissants and pastries arrived as we were leaving around 8.35. The staff seemed flustered and certainly not prepared for breakfast. No one was about when we checked out.

Alicja (6/5): Good - I would recommend this please if it’s about the location. All was good, parking close to the entrance door, lots of space. Big seating area indoor and outdoor, well organised. I would suggest to think of a small fridge in the room and also to arrange for seating area by the window (at least in the room I had there was still space for two small armchairs and round coffee table) otherwise you are left with one chair and beds when in the triple room :) Just an idea. Bigger tv perhaps. No hairdryers.
Annette Lloyd Thomas (10/5): Charming hotel with attentive service. - Friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal in the bar. Many breakfast options for vegetarians. Spacious, free parking. Easy to find, central location. A sign saying 'please seat yourself' or 'please wait to be seated' in the bar/dining room would help people feel at ease when arriving.

Hiren (8/5): Excellent and exceeded expectations - The food, drinks, staff, other locals and the hotel was excellent. I was unsure of the area but we had an amazing time. The only thing was the WiFi slowed down in the Annex during the day.

Very noisy with the bar below us. The breakfast was english breakfast only. As we did not want to gain 20kg during our stay we went elsewhere for breakfast. Some more fruit, ham, slami, cheese or some scones or croissant would have been nice.

Amazing Heating in room inconsistent no control . Very cold. Airfresheners kept discharging and I'm intolerate but put it outside room at night.

Die Mitarbeiter sind alle super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es gibt sehr viele Parkplätze um das Gebäude herum. Wir wollen auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Das WiFi könnte ein bisschen stabiler sein

Couldn't find the Entrance to the hotel initially but we were distracted by the vast size of the car park and so missed it on the left as we entered the lane leading to the hotel.

They would have moved us but we were only staying a couple of nights. Will definitely come back and stay in a quieter room. Everywhere was spotless, great onside bar at reasonable prices. Good bar staff.

Being advised to be patient to wait 5mins for hot water to come through the taps took longer than 5mins Old Hotel . Bed very noisy. Floor boards noisy made the wardrobe doors creek. Shower gel bottle empty. Shower glass door trim fell off. Lack of shelving in bathroom to put toilet wash bag or items on. We could hear noise from room next door and from down stairs in reception. We didn't sleep well at all.We also felt that the breakfast could have had more taste.

Bed was a bit creeky but was the bridal suute i guess. For me all showers need a shower tray for people. Like i say inky kittle things. There was a dig barking at some point dyring the night.
