I totally had confidence in booking.com as I have booked loads of reservations through them recently and in the past. I feel l so let down and humiliated on arrival as no one answered my calls or messages. My money was taken and no where to stay from Friday night. I had to look for accommodation for me and my family last minute.com and spent more money in two different resorts. It was most important to be in this area from Friday till Sunday in order to assist with the baptism of my grand son. I now want my refund but will find it so difficult to trust booking.com in future.
• Yasser (7/5): A good quality place, some improvement needed but generally fine for a short stay - Good location 10 minutes from Woolwich station and Plumstead (easy access to central London - Zone 4) The flat is generally clean, and nicely furnished (except the sofa can be improved) 3 TV screens with Amazon Video, Iplayer and Freeview (one TV was not working) clean 2 bathrooms Internet- generally good well-lit Kitchen needs more cutlery - the number of spoons, forks etc, is not enough at all. one of the Bedroom's TV was not working No Netflex (expired subscription) Communication with host was a struggle. I did not meet him, often responded once and then did not respond for a while. Parking facility was unclear. It seems the property does not come with a parking, but you can park in areas around. The host was not very clear about that. The sofa bed is a bit old Not enough toilet paper, given that the host asks for the number of people coming to the flat when booking communication with the host can be improved, (not responding to messages on Booking, but responding to the phone number given)

• Louisa (5/5): Not the apartment we booked but the second option was ok. - We arrived at the address of the Apartment however there was a problem. We were taken to another property that had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms Merbury Road Woolwich. The apartment was clean and tidy and we were given fresh towels. The apartment had everything we needed but needs some TLC. No internet but we could park the car. The owner apologised and was very helpful. If you make a booking please check it is available and make sure you call ahead before you arrive. The apartment was walking distance to Plumstead railway station. We didn’t cook in the apartment we just used it as a base while visiting the O2 and a day out in London. The apartment we stayed in was fine but it does need some redecorating.

• Consolata (8/5): Excellent property in an excellent location. Close to public transport and market. - The WiFi was not working and we to use our own phone Internet. Beside this, everything else was perfect.
• Ratika (5/5): would not recommend - property was good size for a family of 6. cozy flat host was helpful in sorting out toiletries and stuff upon arrival. it seemed like the property was not lived in for a long time. it wasn’t cleaned thoroughly and was by no means ready for guests to stay in. the sofa bed was filthy and completely useless. it was broken from one side and one could not sleep on it without having a sore back. you would not want that especially when on holiday. we ended up not using it all. the kitchen was barely equipped with utensils and the ones there were really dirty and we had to clean them before using them.
