Very convenient location to visit the palace and nearby galleries and museums (strongly recommend MMCA). Clean and warm even for Hanok. The owner was very kind to offer a bigger room for free as it was available for the night. Thank you again!!

- Amanda (8/5): Clean and fun to experience! - I recommend staying at a traditional hanok if you ever visit Seoul for an authentic experience. Stay256 was cozy and clean, with friendly staff who spoke perfect English. It's located in the heart of the Bukchon area, with a nearby shuttle that takes you to the closest metro point (otherwise a 15 min walk). The only downside was that we went during autumn / winter, so the heating was cranked up high. During the day, it was really cozy, but with little air circulation, it got really sweaty and hot in the middle of the night.

- TOSHIE (8/5): 居心地良い宿です - 新しく綺麗で、何より場所が三清洞ど真ん中でとても良いです‼️ 部屋は狭くダブルの部屋でもひとりでも狭く感じました。テレビ、歯ブラシはありません。でもコンセントがUSBも対応のものになっており、布団も寝心地良く家具などもかわいく、エアコン付き&寒い日はオンドルもついてとても居心地が良かったです。共同のリビングとキッチンがあり、朝食はセルフでキッチンのものをご自由にどうぞスタイル。これまた気楽で良かったです。ちなみに私バスルーム付きの部屋に滞在しましたがバスルームも清潔でした。 英語が堪能な男の子が親切に対応してくれます。又機会があれば泊まりたいです。

- GISOOK (8/5): 편안한 한옥집~ - 욕실이 표함된 방이었고. 욕실이 생각보다 많이 작아서 당황스러웠던 기억이~ 하지만 2일 지내다보니 적응이 됐고~ 방이나 욕실이 깨끗했고 매트리스도 푹신푹신해서 편하고 잠도 잘왔습니다~ 예전에 살던 한옥집이 생각 나기도 해서 너무 좋았어요~ 2일동안 조식 잘 챙겨먹었고. 제가 마지막날 체크아웃 늦었는데 너무 죄송했고. 너그럽게 이해해주신 사장님~ 많은 얘기를 나누진 못했지만 친절하게 대해주셔서 정말 감사합니다~ 좋은 숙소에서 엄마와 좋은 추억을 만들었고~ 좋은 결실도 맺게 되어 기쁩니다~^^ 감사합니다~

- Verified traveler (10/5): - This property is a renovated Hanok, it still has a traditional layout with a central courtyard in all the rooms facing the courtyard, but has been upgraded. All the rooms have their own air-conditioning, there are three shared bathrooms, and there is a kitchen that is open 24 seven as needed. The gentleman managing this property, Speaks English very well, and is very helpful. I would highly recommend staying here again.

Palaces, subway station, and dining are all in walking distance. The owner was amazing, so friendly and helpful. He was educated in the US, so his english was perfect. This was great for us, because he spent a lot of time with us answering questions about everything from Korean culture to where to eat. Our room was spotless, the common areas were lovely and the linens and towels were top notch. Stay here!
- ING (10/5): 有特色且舒服的住宿 - Stay256是老韓屋改造成的民宿，非常具有傳統韓國文化風情，年輕老闆Hyun十分親切，見面時總能聊上幾句，也給了我們一下附近店家的建議。我們住的含衛浴兩人房，雖然空間不甚大，但是簡單的佈置和清爽的空間，住起來是舒服的。民宿所在的三清洞充滿質感店家，是個人十分喜愛的區域。

- Daryl (10/5): - Charming little Hanok in the touristy area near many attractions including two palaces and a few museums. Many shops and cafes nearby. Traditional Korean Hanok so expect clean room with futon and some drawers and not much else. Insulated from cold with sliding glass doors over traditional paper/wood ones. Modern amenities like AC and WiFi though. Owner was very friendly and speaks English very well (lived in US). He will help you call a cab or any translating you need.
