• Natsuko (10/5): 最高のロケーション - 彦根城の東隣にあり、エレベーターを上がったところから見る桜と堀、遠くに見える彦根城が最高に美しかったです。スタッフさんは皆さんとても親切でした。お花見の激混みシーズンでも宿泊客に駐車場を確保くださってとても助かりました。 特にありません。

• Michael (9/5): - Liegt sehr schön an Burg Hikone, sogar mit entsprechender Aussicht aus dem Onsen. Abends steht eine Lounge mit Getränken zur Verfügung. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet aus dem angeschlossenem Restaurant (gehobener Standard). Das Onsen beschränkt sich auf zwei Becken. Bei "Resort & Spa" hätte ich noch mit Außenbereich und Sauna gerechnet.

• Michael (10/5): Ein traumhafter Ort, um die Kirschblüte zu erleben - Eine fabelhafte Unterkunft direkt bei der Burg mit schöner Aussicht, umfangreiches japanisches Frühstück und sehr hilfsbereitem, freundlichen Personal. Im heißen Bad mit Blick auf die Burg konnten wir den Tag gut ausklingen lassen. Der Bahnhof in der Nähe ermöglicht einen Tagesausflug nach Kyoto. Wir waren zur Kirschblüte da und es hat sich gelohnt.

• yihsin (10/5): - 地點很好，就正面對彥根城，每天晚上坐在Lounge 喝著酒或飲料，看著彥根城非常愜意。大浴池也是面對彥根城。從JR車站走來大約要10多分鐘，但早上有接駁車送到車站。 房間有點小，行李箱攤不開。

• Keiko (9/5): 日常からの解放 - 彦根城のお堀に面して、遠くにではあるが天守が眺められるロケーションは流石でした。 桜が咲いたら感動的だった事でしょう。 ウエルカムドリンクを頂ける場所からも眺められて、本当にのんびり楽しめたのは良かったと思います。 部屋もシングルでしたが備品も不足なく揃っているので良かったです。 お風呂に沢山タオル類が揃えられていたので、とても便利だと思いました。 朝食もバラエティに富んでいて利用時間の幅が広く、混雑を避けて利用できたのは良かったです。 特に有りませんが、フロントの女性に笑顔が少なく 説明も事務的なので、それが少し残念だったのかと。 温泉旅館のフレンドリーな接客に慣れてしまっているせいかそう感じただけで、他意はありませんのでお気になさらずお願いします。

• Hui Bin (10/5): Fabulous hotel in a historical district, fantastic service and great view! - Love the onsen and terrace bar that faces Hikone castle. Fabulously attentive and helpful staff - I was struggling to walk with their raised slippers that were too large for my feet and they quickly offered me 2 smaller pairs to try and choose from during dinner. I didn't even have to say anything! Nothing really! The parking lots are around the corner and not right at the property, but it's no big deal since the doorman helped to guide us and unloaded our suitcases so we didn't suffer any inconvenience, unless something was left behind in the car.

• susanne (10/5): Komfortables Hotel mit äußerst zuvorkommendem Personal in toller Lage - Super Lage mit Blick auf die Burg. Zimmer waren schöner als auf den Fotos. Großzügige Fahrstühle und kostenlose Parkplätze für Hotelgäste vorhanden. Sehr schöner Badebereich mit 39 und 42 Grad warmem Wasser (zugänglich mit Zimmerkarte) mit Blick auf die Burg, Yukata und Kosmetikartikel werden gestellt. Direkt daneben nettes Soba-Restaurant (auch Hotelrestaurant, aber mit Reservierung bis Vorabend). Loungebereich auf der Ebene des Bads mit kostenlosen Getränken für Hotelgäste am Abend und tollem Blick auf die beleuchtete Burg. Sehr gutes japanisches Frühstück und auch annehmbare westliche Alternative (inkl. Kaffee). Uns hat es super gefallen, Personal ist äußerst zuvorkommend. War alles perfekt

• Ali (8/5): Nothing to eat. - The location is lovely, it's right across the castle and you can see the castle from the hotel which is really nice. You can see the castle from the onsen also which is a nice touch. I liked the onsen and the massage we got - the lady was excellent. The castle was really very lovely so this trip was worth it. We arrived around 3pm, hungry and tired and the hotel could offer us nothing to eat, all restaurants at the hotel were closed and also in town which was quite odd. We asked them to make us a reservation for dinner at the hotel which they also refused. They said they were fully booked which felt odd since it was a Tuesday. No one at the front desk spoke English which made it very difficult to communicate.
• Jennifer (10/5): Amazing! - Perfect location, great view from room, delicious breakfast with many options for everyone (the tempura was my favorite), Library Lounge offers a cool hang out spot, spa was nice, free bike rentals (the bikes were in excellent condition!), and the staff was so helpful throughout my entire stay!

• Kenji (10/5): 最高の冥土の土産になりました笑 - 高齢の母親に対する気遣いが良くて、母親もそれに感動していました。朝、朝食の食卓へ向かうときに、母親の少し歩き方がおかしいのを察知し、下駄のサイズが合っていないことに気づかれて、すぐに小さいものをご提供いただき、母親とても喜んでいました。　2階のライブラリーラウンジで、夕食後にゆったりと過ごすことができ、一生忘れることのない時間を母親と過ごすことができました。ありがとうございました。

• Francis (9/5): A great place to stay in Hikone! - My room was smaller than I expected, (typical Japanese small), but very clean and comfortable. On the other hand, the bathroom was bigger than what you get in a lot of Japanese hotels, which I appreciated. From my room, I didn't have a view of the castle, but rather of the city, which was OK with me. You get a nice view of the castle every time you go to take the elevator, or while enjoying your free drink in the lounge. The public bath also wasn't particularly spacious, but when I went, I was the only one there, and soaking in the bath with the nice view of the castle was a real treat. I give high marks to the staff (front desk & restaurant). They were all very pleasant and helpful. My Japanese is good, and I don't need English from the staff, but the English support here seems sufficient, so if you don't know much or any Japanese, you should still be fine. The breakfast was a real highlight. My favorites were the made-on-the-spot tempura, and the "chef's special curry", but truly everything that I had from the nice variety of options was fresh and very tasty. The hotel's location is perfect, right next to the castle. And the walk from the station, which was only about 6 or 7 minutes, was a little shorter than I thought it would be, which was a blessing because it was the middle of August and very hot. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

• 賀求哉 (8/5): 大変満足です - 立地が最高。彦根城の真横。大浴場は42℃と高めでしたが、室温が低くてすごく気持ちよかったです。昼は併設のレストランでステーキ丼。2500円は周りの店と比べると安め。しかもおばんざいが食べ放題。飲み物もお茶だけでなくジュースもあってフリー。デザートのミニシュークリームやわらび餅も食べ放題。隣のお土産物やさんは品揃えがよく、１０％引きのチケットをチェックイン時にいただけます。 施設のことではありませんが、水曜日に宿泊はおすすめしません。両隣のお店が定休日。キャッスルロードや狙いの夜の食事の店がことごとく定休日。1万円だして千成亭なら問題ないですが、安めに抑えたいなら駅前まで行くのがおすすめ。

• yoshihiko (9/5): よかったと思う。 - 朝食が美味しかったし、彦根城が大浴場から望めることが気に入っている。また、風呂上がりにレストルームで無料の地ビールを飲みながらマッタリ出来る。 駅から歩くにしては遠く、朝に駅へ車で送迎する開始時間が遅すぎて電車に間に合わず、歩くことになった。

• Ali (7/5): Remarkable view - The view, the onsen, the massage were great! The onsen overlooks the castle which is quite lovely. The service is poor. The answer to everything was a no! They couldn’t give us a room with a view or a 2 person table at the restaurant for dinner later that day even though we had had no lunch. Breakfast winds up at 930 and nothing is available after that - very strange we thought. You travel all the way to Hikone and no restaurant feeds you between 3 and 600pm. Not even your hotel …

• David (10/5): Wonderful hotel in a beautiful and historic town. - Service: all staff were gracious, kind, friendly. Free drinks were offered on beautiful space with terrace overlooking the lit-up grounds of Hikone Castle. We were also picked up from the station by the hotel shuttle bus Location: perfect, overlooking the moats of Hikone Castle, and nearby all restaurants, Castle Street, and the castle and gardens. Quiet and beautiful in November. A ten minute walk back to the station, which links directly with Kyoto (45 mins away on train) Breakfast: great variety of Japanese and western-style dishes, continually replenished, and absolutely delicious. First class cooking and presentation. We loved it. Rooms: mostly single rooms. Six of us stayed in a single room each. Clean, comfortable, spacious. Other: super onsen, with views to castle; spacious foyer, lobby, library and waiting areas, again with some superb artwork, objects and views; tremendous value-for-money. On check-out, we stored our luggage and stayed the day in Hikone before picking our bags up again, and we were very grateful for this free service. Summary: an excellent hotel operating to very high standards of hospitality. Perfect location in a lovely and historic town. We only stayed one night, but wished we had stayed more, and we would be delighted to return.

• Junko (10/5): A wonderful stay with beautiful night views of Hikone Castle - The hotel had a quiet and elegant atmosphere, and it was wonderful. I especially enjoyed having the welcome drink while looking at Hikone Castle beautifully lit up at night. I only stayed for one night, but I would love to stay longer next time. • YOKO (9/5): 食べ過ぎOK。部屋は狭いのか？ - 　部屋は狭いが、レイアウトが良いのか、余り狭さは感じず、使いやすかった。 　スタッフの応対、ホスピタリティが神。 　朝食はブッフェで、湖魚の天茶最高に美味し。お代りしてしまった。色々食べ過ぎたと思ったが、消化の良い健康朝食だったようで、１時間〜２時間で、お腹も通常営業に。 大浴場も使いやすく、岩盤ベンチも浴室内にあった。 このお値段でコレは大満足です。 大浴場の化粧品、マーガレットジョセフィン？刺激なくて良いものだが、クレンジングだけは…落ちが悪いので、ビオレで良いからおいて欲しい。 　朝食の牛乳は、前日試飲したよつ葉牛乳の方が美味しかった… 　ベッドのせいか枕のせいかわからないが?、一睡もできなかった。疲れ過ぎで寝落ちしたものの、途中で目が覚めたら、もう完全に眠れず、寝返りばかり。 　今度改装の折には、サータのベッドにしてくださいw

• KAZUKI (8/5): 🏯•🥩•🍶を満喫　IN滋賀 - •大浴場からお城🏯を眺めながら浸かるのは最高に気持ち良かったです。彦根城主の気分を味わえた感じです。 •朝食は、豊富な種類でどれも美味しかったです。プレートに欲張って沢山取ってしまうくらい満足感を味わえました。 •大浴場は湯船に浸かった時、縦幅が少し短かった為、膝を少し曲げた状態になりました。(僕も含めて身長が高い人にとっては…。)欲を言えば、露天風呂も併設してあればなぁと感じました。 •受付ですが、見習い？(研修中)の人が対応されましたが、しょうがないとは言え、ぎこちない対応だったので慣れたスタッフが良かったかなぁ…と思いました。
