- chris (8/5): - Beautiful house and in our case a very good location

- Kimberly (10/5): A peaceful oasis were time moves slowly. - Time felt slower here. I didn't want to leave. The breakfast WAS excellent as everyone says, and the atmosphere was peaceful. We were in Brussels for a goth metal concert so the quiet, relaxing atmosphere was extra appreciated. Another thing I loved was the garden around the house. I saw red squirrels running on branches, a Flemish jay, long tailed tits and a lovely lark. And all this for such a good price and a very short walk from a train station. We plan on staying here again. :) I have zero complaints. Aside from that we were promised bottled water but never got any. It's okay because we really didn't need it.
- Nicholas (9/5): Excellent option for an elegant stay in Brussels in a leafy suburb. Extremely friendly and helpful host. - Beautiful villa, well appointed. Nice room, very comfortable. To be clear I loved the property but It is relatively far from the centre and requires tram plus bus. The room I had did not have an en-suite bath but it did have a very nice bathroom which was dedicated to the room across the landing.
- Martin (7/5): Lovely garden very convenient for our visit. We felt price should have included breakfast. - Breakfast was good, but the first morning we whad not ordered in advance. I had assumed 'b and b" included breakfast but we paid 18 euro per person per meal extra. We found the room was too hot and we had no means of making it cooler.
- Osvaldo (10/5): Un soggiorno magico - L’ambiente in generale Nulla
- Martine (10/5): -
- Claudia (10/5): - Great place and perfect communication.

- Maryvonne (8/5): Parfait séjour pour l’Automne à Uccle - Cadre boisé magnifique. Aucun bruit.
- Katia (10/5): - Wonderful breakfast. Warmful reception and service.

- James (9/5): Lovely home and great setting not far from tram and city center yet very quiet in a very wooded spot - Fantastic breakfast.....Eggs cooked to order perfectly, yogurt, fruit, bread and croissants, French press coffee, fresh orange juice An ironing board in the room
- François (4/5): Maison fantôme, charme désuet, aucun équipement - Accueil

- Joanna (10/5): -
- Rita (10/5): Beautiful guesthouse - Beautiful guesthouse in a wonderful location. The breakfast is amazing. All freashly cooked, and prepared on site, with delicious jams and fresh yogurt. Bedroom was spotless and attention to details out of ordinary. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a fully relaxing experience. Everything was perfect!
- Manu (10/5): - It was a lovely break in a green and pleasant area in Brussels, breakfast was incredible, pool clean and amazing garden!!
- Christophe - BESCORED (10/5): -
- Christel (8/5): Beautiful house in the heart of Brussels - A very idyllic, historic and quiet house in a beautiful green environment. We loved the art in all the rooms. Steep stairs, given the age of the house. May be not suited for elderly people.
- Ahmed (3/5): Extremely disappointing stay, not suitable for families! - Quite Extremely disappointing stay not suitable for families
This property is absolutely not suitable for children, and it does not justify the price paid at all. There are no services, guests are not allowed to move freely in the house, and the kitchen is closed and off-limits.
The room is on the second floor with a steep staircase, and there is no assistance with luggage whatsoever. The room has no private bathroom — to access the bathroom, you must climb a dangerous, narrow staircase similar to those on ships.
The bathroom is located inside the kids’ room on the rooftop. It is small, poorly ventilated, smells bad, and only has ineffective liquid soap ,no other toiletries or essentials were provided.
There is also no internet access in the room, which made things even more inconvenient.
Eating in the room is not allowed, and to eat, you must go all the way to the ground floor, which is extremely inconvenient when traveling with children.
Overall, it felt like a tiny prison, not a guesthouse. This was a very disappointing experience and not worth the money paid. I would not return, nor recommend it to anyone especially families.
- Celine (10/5): I would 100% stay here again, no question! La Maison Chantecler is a true gem. - La Maison Chantecler is a stunning historical house set in a beautiful neighbourhood. If you like to be surrounded by a green and leafy environment with a mix of wild and mature gardens then look no further. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room spacious and airy. The on site staff were so friendly and helpful and the garden a true little haven. I needed to stay in the property for a few hours past check out time due to a car arriving to take me on to a business meeting in Antwerp and the on site staff were incredibly accommodating of this, which was greatly appreciated - not all places are so flexible and welcoming. The only thing I would say that is somewhat negative is though the breakfast is delicious, it is on the expensive side for what you get (we had the vegetarian option). But that would not stop me from staying there at all as there are plenty of lovely eateries within walking distance that I would just choose to go to instead.
- Tamás (10/5): Exceptional - A beautiful house in a beautiful surrounding, very friendly staff.
- Francois (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tamas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stella (8/5): A lovely relaxing stay. - The location is excellent for us because our daughter lives nearby. The area is lovely as is the house. An excellent breakfast was freshly cooked, although it is important to realise that this needs to be paid for separately. The main drawback for us is that the rooms are on the second floor and we had to carry our heavy suitcases up a lot of stairs. However, we would be happy to stay there again.
- Caitlin (8/5): Very good -
- Tomislav (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, clean and just overall good value
- Gary (9/5): Charming, we hope to visit in summer when we can enjoy the pool! Thank you. Fully recommend - Charming property beautifully furnished in leafy Uccle. It’s not a ‘didn’t like’ as such, but as an older property not an abundance of plugs. Also we struggled to find the on off switch for our light ( it was just outside the room door )!
- Gokce (10/5): Lovely staff and house - We loved the room, beautiful view of trees from the bed. Amazing staff, Sandra especially was so lovely and welcoming, we felt at home. Breakfast was really nice, super cosy shared living room and warm and comfortable bed. We were very happy. Nothing
- Santiago (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast was great and the house is really beautiful
- Nadia (8/5): Very good -
- Aya (10/5): We had a great stay and we would definitely recommend. - They gave us such warm welcome and the property is decorated in very cute way. It is spacious and very comfortable. We even had a lovely visit by a little squirrel in the terrace. There were some spiders but it’s normal considering the surrounding nature.
- Marc (10/5): - Beautiful facility. Friendly staff and great breakfast.
I wanted to especially call out that the staff accomodated my 83 year old friend by moving us from an upstairs room with a lot of stairs to the cottage.
- Imène (3/5): Poor -
- Michel (8/5): A very nice stylish property in a quiet area and very conveniently located in Uccle. - The room was nicely presented and comfortable. There was plenty of space in the cupboards. The staff was very friendly and provided helpful assistance. The property is nicely secluded when driving through the entrance path. I really liked the style of the house and its perspective on the garden and pool. The bathroom is nice, and the supplies were very good. It may be difficult for a person with walking difficulties to get in and out of the shower. It may be useful to check with potential customers whether they have mobility restrictions. Note: this did not apply to me and I didn't check other bedrooms and bathrooms that may be more accessible.
- Alexandra (10/5): Would recommend - Beautiful little BnB. Staff was very helpful and accommodating about my strange check in time (as I was arriving late due to a work event), and made sure I settled in okay. Nothing
- Barbara (9/5): Great ancient villa in Brussels - A fantastic old villa in Brussels
- Tina (8/5): Great stay with pleasant and serviceminded staff providing over expectatipns in breakfast. - Charming Old style Mansion with a big, old, calm and natural garden. Beautifull, bright and clean furniture, good beds and clean sheets and linen. Best part is the very friendly and servicemninded staff which provided us with an excellent breakfast!!! A bit in need for maintenance, a lamp was missing a bulb, pool was not ready for summer opening… but in all it was not important for our stay, as the wheather was not optimal for swimming.
- Aidan (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The stay was good, we were surprised there was no access to the kitchen like other B&B we have stayed in so we couldn’t hear our food. We couldn’t figure out how to get out and see the back garden, and the bed was very hard. But the room was beautiful and it was an easy walk to the train station.
- Elba (10/5): Recommend to anyone traveling in Brussels - Fantastic location and service
- Ann (7/5): Good - The location was really very nice. The garden is great and because we had really good weather we enjoyed it a lot There was no fridge in the room. It is also a pity that we could not make coffee in the morning in our room.
The bathroom was rather small.
- Nadezhda (10/5): It feels like home - Lovely and very cozy house, you can see and feel that everything is made with love and care. Amazing hosts! Delicious homemade breakfast.
- Stella (9/5): A really good stay. We shall be booking here again. - The location was excellent for us as our daughter lives only 5 minutes walk from the property.
All the staff were very helpful and friendly, even when we thought we might not make it because of Eurostar cancellations.
We had a large bedroom and a separate bathroom for our sole use. The only downside was that our room was on the second floor and there was no lift. However, this is true of most of the places we have stayed in Brussels. You need to be able to carry your cases up 2 flights of stairs.
- Viktor (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent and generous breakfast.
- Jean-louis (9/5): Superb -
- Nigel (8/5): - Really great place, just like the photos. Nice people.
Let down a bit by the staircase to the loft. So narrow and steep, a ladder would be much easier.
- Derren (10/5): - Beautiful house in its own surroundings, very comfortable, very filling breakfasts
- Rolf (8/5): Very good - perfect location in the south of Brussels. Beautiful estate. great rooms,
Breakfast and staff just great.
Rooms beautiful and well arranged. only the Chateclre room has an out of the room bathroom, which at night was a bit strange.
There is no sign at the gate. at night time the estate is really hard to locate.
- Roy (9/5): Very comfortable, aesthetically pleasing and good value-for-money. - Excellent stately home converted into a bed-and-breakfast - comfy rooms, excellent facilities, a solid breakfast (for an extra price of Euro 18). The bed was truly comfortable (I stayed in the Renard room on the 2nd floor). Nothing that comes to mind. Be aware though that there is no elevator/lift, and so people who are physically challenged will have a hard time or find it impossible to walk up to the first or second floors.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Cottage stay - La Maison Chantecler is well-maintained, charming, and comfortable. Staff is very attentive and helpful. Breakfasts are bountiful and delicious. Bus stops are close by and the neighborhood is very pleasant.
- Mattcorn1412 (9/5): Very friendly people, awesome location in Brussels! -
- Ting (9/5): Superb -
- Willem (9/5): Superb -
- Elisabeth (10/5): Exceptional - Great place with friendly staff at good service. Would stay there again!
- Loic (9/5): Superb -
- Stephen (8/5): It was great, despite the staircase to the bathroom. - A beautiful and interesting house. My room was lovely, and I especially liked the balcony overlooking the garden, with its mature trees. I also enjoyed the swimming pool. The owner, Francoise, was friendly and helpful, as were the staff. The shower was also very good. So was the air conditioning. I had to climb a very steep and winding staircase to get to my bathroom, and there wasn't even a sink in the room.
- Dennis (9/5): Very nice stay - Absolutely stunning location. The villa, the garden, the original details, all where perfect. Also very friendly hosts, willing to assist whenever asked. We missed a fridge that we could reach ourselves to have cold drinks, but I understood it was almost about to be installed.
The breakfast was served together with other guests at one table, which might be a surprise for couples who love the intimacy of having their own.
- Nathalie (8/5): Very good -
- Karthik (10/5): Exceptional -
- Oswald (9/5): Superb -
- Tommy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Inken (10/5): - Great place and nice surroundings - just loved it!

- Klaus-g. (9/5): Superb -
- Iris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Isabel (2/5): Sacrifice after a long car journey - Very poor and the only thing as ordered was the fresh orange juice It’s a very old superficially made up home.
Tiny bedrooms and I chose the suite where I stayed one night in spite of having payed 2. Bathroom impossible to reach for a normal shower. I suggest new installations.
- Barbara (8/5): Very good -
- Pierre-cedric (10/5): Exceptional -

- Thomas (9/5): Very nice old Villa, quiet and confortable -
- Andrew (9/5): Superb - Breakfast here is superb - with the best coffee I have tasted in ages. It's a lovely property and if you like a quiet peaceful location on the outskirts of the city you can't do better than this. nothing
- Maxime (4/5): it was alright overall. - the house and rooms were charming. breakfast was good. no easy system to go in and out of the house with one key only to share between 2 people. I was asked a supplement for an additional bed which was not mentioned on my booking. I logically refused to pay
- Cuneyt (9/5): Great place to stay. Sİlent and peaceful.. Helpful and friendly hosts.. Loved it - Great place to stay. Sİlent and peaceful.. Loved it

Good maintained,, the staff was very nice and helpful, as well as the breakfast fresh and tasty.
