- Juan Pablo (8/5): Great location, friendly staff, great room and great breakfast. - Silvana was very friendly and the room was exactly what we expected. Nice space, nice view and balcony, good bed, good bathroom. Breakfast was very good too. The property is also located in a busy road, so buses and transport all very near. We felt there was a small language barrier, as Silvana mainly spoke italian only. We had some questions that couldn't be answered, but it didn't really affect our stay that much.

- Julia (4/5): Muss man mögen. - Betten waren bequem. Wir haben uns als Eindringlinge in der Wohnung dieser Frau gefühlt. Sie war immer direkt nebenan. Spricht nur italienisch und kein englisch. Frühstück besser außerhalb essen. Weit ab vom Schuss.

- David (9/5): Offering the comforts of a "home-away-from-home", Silvana is a warm and responsive hostess. - With ongoing interest in visiting local friends and continued exploration of the city, this is a most welcome second stay for me. As such, "A Casa di Silvana" provides the best of three essentials: short walking distance to the nearby residence of friends; close proximity to bus and tram connections to locations of interest; and, at day's end, a quiet and refreshing sanctuary.

- David (9/5): Indeed, it was Silvana's hospitality and thoughtful attention to detail that proved so welcoming. - We chose "A Cassa di Silvana" because of its walking-distance-proximity to the home of friends in the neighborhood. As a plus, Via Portuense is a busy thoroughfare serving as means of connecting bus routes to other means of transit and thus broadening access to the city's cultural and commercial destinations. And in contrast, it was the quieter, often tree-lined side-streets that offered both pleasant walking and on-foot discovery of local area shops and services. "What could have been better?" . . . certainly, our Italian ! . . . a matter that - with Silvana's patience, willingness, and the use of a simple "type, read, speak" translation function - turned our breakfasts into shared discoveries of family, of interests, and histories past and present.

D & S No matter our adjustments - new times, new places, new nights and days - one could hardly do better than to wake each new morning with the French doors opening to an inviting third story balcony !
- Mba (10/5): Nice and comfortable room - The room was comfortable and super clean ! Breakfast was very complete too. Even though the apartment was not in the city center, there are plenty of bus stops and it only took me 30 min. The area is very quiet and secure I was travel alone and I felt pretty safe. I would totally recommend it ! Plus Silvana, the owner, was very nice and helpful. Overall I had a great experience 😊 Nothing, everything was perfect.

The room and the bathroom are very clean, and the breakfast is good and can be served at different times. The location is quiet and close to public transport to the center and the airport. I recommend with confidence!

- Apostol (10/5): Exceptional - Silvana was a superb host . We came in much earlier than the check in hours , she welcomed us and fastly made a room clean . She let us leave the luggage as our flight was later that day . She helped us with any info or problem we faced . Our flight was even canceled and she let us stay till we figured a way to solve it . And she prepared homemade cookies ! Much appreciated. We even broke her shower head and she said it wasn't any problem . The rooms were clean and the balcony was full of flowers . Bed was comfy and the height was just right . The bus let's you right in front of the house . It was a little hard to get the water temperature right as it was either too hot or too cold . Shower was small but manageable .

- Sara (9/5): 4 days in Rome - The host was really nice, and the free breakfast was pretty good to have (the host was flexible about the time she served breakfast as well). The bus station is right infront of the apartment but you have to catch 2 buses to the city centre. Try to have the city tax money in cash, it's possible to pay by card but it's much preferable to do it by cash. We had to share the bathroom with other residents but it was always available and clean.
