The restaurant the Summit was good but maybe a bit overpriced and the atmosphere, sitting in the same local as the breakfast, felt more like a school restaurant than a fancy restaurant. I preferred the local restaurants in Champoluc and Frachey.

Swimming pool and hot tub too. The early evening dining options for family’s. The food is too rich and expensive in the Summit and Japanese and the bar menu is tiny between 5-7 when children want to eat. This became an issue for what, when and how to feed our children. Local restaurants were fully booked as busy season.

La posizione è ottima: si trova vicino a un sentiero pedonale che porta direttamente in centro, soluzione perfetta per una passeggiata. Molto comodo anche il servizio navetta, sia per raggiungere il centro sia per gli impianti di risalita. Ho apprezzato molto anche la cucina del ristorante, davvero ottima e di qualità. Il personale è sempre stato attento, gentile e disponibile, facendoci sentire accolti in ogni momento. Un gesto particolarmente gradito è stato l’aperitivo di benvenuto e la bottiglia offerta per festeggiare il mio compleanno: un’attenzione che abbiamo davvero apprezzato. Unico piccolo aspetto migliorabile: la spa interna, piccolina e utilizzabile solo per un’ora e su prenotazione. Sarebbe ancora più piacevole poterla utilizzare con maggiore flessibilità. La piscina esterna invece aveva una temperatura di 20 gradi quindi troppo fredda per goderne in inverno.

The staff were clueless and the management of the front of house and the kitchen was horrendous. They had to give us dinner free twice with a value around 800 euros because they were so late and incompetent with the meals. One night they even told us our meals were 2 hour late because they were too busy looking after the owner of the hotel and that we were not important enough!! They have recently appointed a new GM - he has to work very hard to fix this place. Do not go as it is awful value for money and the experience is not great.

guendac (9/5): Siamo stati benissimo, ma esperienza un po' inferiore a CampZero (complici i lavori in corso) - Colazione fantastica, family room bellissima (su due piani) e pulitissima, ottime amenities. Struttura di design molto curata nei dettagli. Apprezzata la parete da arrampicata per lezione con la famiglia. Ottima posizione per escursioni a piedi e in bici. I lavori in corso limitano i servizi (Spa, parcheggio) e rendono il panorama meno piacevole. La Spa, a causa dei lavori in corso (prevista fine entro dicembre, dicono) e' limitata agli spazi interni (peccato!), che sono piuttosto affollati nell'orario serale (18-19). Siamo stati al Camp Zero con la precedente gestione e la Spa era prenotabile ad uso esclusivo della famiglia. Ora e' sempre prenotabile (in teoria con max 10 persone, solo noi eravamo 4), ma c'era sempre più gente, con un effetto "affollato" e non esclusivo (es. non c'erano sdraio disponibili per rilassarsi a leggere un libro e fuori faceva troppo freddo). Il massaggio di mio marito e' stato buono ma non eccezionale. Inoltre, mi e' dispiaciuto molto che il resort abbia perso la sua vocazione marcatamente "active" con le Guide "resident" che davano consigli nella gestione CampZero. Per me era un valore aggiunto che e' un peccato si sia perso, suggerisco alla Gestione di ripristinare.

Gianluca (7/5): Discreto - Larchitettura La cena è stata una delusione, discreta da un punto di vista della qualità , ma eccessivamente costosa. Il personale frettoloso toglievano i piatti mentre stavamo ancora mangiando. Hanno versato il vino senza farli assaggiare.

Andrea (10/5): Lusso, confort e passeggiate. - Camera spaziosissima, pulitissima, arredata con gusto un po' archistar milanese, ma tutto sommato accogliente. La vista dalla camera era straordinaria, l'insonorizzazione perfetta: non abbiamo mai sentito gli altri ospiti o il personale. Il personale è estremamente professionale ma disponibile e cordiale. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene al ristorante, grande qualità. La colazione a buffet è molto varia, gradita la presenza di prodotti locali oltre alle solite cose da ristorante internazionale. La posizione è estremamente comoda, e permette di raggiungere a piedi, seguendo un sentiero parallelo alla strada e immersi nel verde, sia Champoluc, sia Saint-Jacques-des-Allemands. Sono chiaramente gusti personali, ma non ho apprezzato l'aspetto ipercontemporaneo dell'esterno e degli spazi comuni. L'impressione è straniante: ambienti con soffitti molto alti, superfici spigolose, ampio uso di metallo ossidato. Il posto non sembra immaginato per accogliere, ma per stupire e sfidare il visitatore. Questa impressione è bilanciata dal verde e dai boschi bellissimi che circondano l'hotel. Ripeto: gusti personali. A mia moglie è piaciuto.

Laura (8/5): Buon soggiorno - Struttura molto bella, colazione ottima preparata sul momento, camera con vista sul bosco adiacente l’hotel. Molto comodo anche il parcheggio incluso nel garage con accesso diretto tramite ascensore. Il giardino è impraticabile causa lavori in corso che ostruiscono anche la visuale da praticamente ovunque. Sicuramente avvisare i clienti al momento della prenotazione sarebbe opportuno.

Très bon resto Chambre confortable Le niveau du SPA en terme de confort : chaises longues très basiques, horaires trop restreints : du lundi au vendredi ouverture que l’après-midi en plein août. Alex (9/5): Beautiful Champoluc - The hotel is in a beautiful location in Champoluc. The rooms are spacious, super comfortable with great amenities and beautiful views of the mountains.The spa is excellent and the food was very good. I had a wonderful stay and I will return. I enquired about extending my stay directly through the hotel although I could have easily done it via this platform. I was offered a family suite although the deluxe suite was available and the price was 5 times higher!. I wonder why and I feel disappointed as it reflects badly on the hotel which is very good.
