Nicola (10/5): Superb! - The team at Il San Christoforo were so wonderful and helpful. Especially Giuseppe on the front desk. Excellent breakfast, beautiful gardens, a real oasis. The pool is a lovely added extra too. A real treat. The free shuttle service down to Ercolano Station was such a bonus and makes it easy to visit Herculaneum, Vesuvius and access the frequent trains to Naples. Would recommend without hesitation. Yui Man (9/5): - Il San Cristoforo was a delightful surprise as we arrived from the Napoli airport. It is on the slopes and our balcony opened to Mt Vesuvio. Breakfast was served in its restaurant right in its large garden. Room is not fancy, but clean, spacious and practical. Hotel team helped ferry our luggage from guest carpark to hotel lobby by a golf cart. A convenient base to explore Herculaneum in the following morning before leaving for Amalfi.
Nadezhda (9/5): Beautiful venue and very friendly staff - We stayed in a small apartment with two bedrooms, very convenient for families. The rooms were nice, very clean and beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, while we were resting from our trip they managed our reservation and took our luggage to the room. The venue itself is very beautiful and safe but the areas around did not look that safe - recommend moving around by car or taxi. We only had a problem with the drainage in the bathroom which was clogged the day we arrived. The staff came and fixed it the same day but we already had the whole bathroom full with water.
olesea (10/5): Dolce Vita: il vero stile della dolce vita italiana - Villa San Cristoforo ha superato le mie aspettative. Abbiamo preso tre camere e tutte erano spaziose, bellissime e curate nei minimi dettagli. In una camera per due persone avevamo addirittura due bagni, cosa davvero rara. Lo staff è sempre stato disponibile, professionale e molto gentile. Le camere erano impeccabili e ogni giorno venivano pulite con grande attenzione. La villa dal vivo è ancora più bella che in foto, con un giardino curatissimo e un’atmosfera elegante da vera location per cerimonie. La colazione è stata davvero di livello superiore: ogni mattina trovavamo brioche fresche, dolci fatti dalla cuoca presente in struttura, crostate, torte salate, verdure grigliate e un buffet ricco e curato, più simile a quello di una cerimonia che a una normale colazione d’albergo. Per me la posizione non era la priorità, cercavo una location di alto livello… e qui l’ho trovata. Consigliatissima. raramente do 10 a tutti i punti, ma questo merita. mi serviva per lavoro, avevi i miei clienti doveva fare bella figura.. Avevamo camere nella dependance ( non lo fatto le foto) direi che siamo riusciti in stile italiano. L’unica piccola cosa meno comoda è che la struttura è molto grande e, per portare i bagagli, bisogna aspettare il personale con la golf cart. Essendo in tanti abbiamo dovuto fare due giri, quindi serve solo un po’ di pazienza. Nulla di grave, ma è l’unico aspetto che segnalo

Andrej (10/5): Odlična lokacija za večdnevno bivanje blizu Neaplja, Pompejev, Vezuva in Amalfijske obale. - Občutek miru in varnosti v urejenem parku, kjer stoji hotel. Pogled na Vezuv z okna v sobi. Prijaznost osebja na recepciji in v baru. Možnost shuttle storitve do železniške postaje Ercolano. Čistoča bazena. Za zajtrk je bila sicer velika izbira, vendar so bila jajca in slanina hladni že ob začetku strežbe ob 7:30. Premalo sadja glede na to, da smo na jugu Italije. Natakarji so bili zavzeti, osebje v kuhinji pa ne.

Silvia (9/5): Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt - Das Hotel liegt in einem wunderschönen, großen Garten/Park. Parkplätze sind etwas vom Gebäude entfernt, aber man wird mit einem Golfcar geholt/gebracht. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück außerordentlich gut, mit allem was man so anbieten kann. Das Restaurant fürs Abendessen sehr außergewöhnlich, gut, und eher teurer - nichts für einen kleinen Snack am Abend. Es ist etwas vom Hauptgebäude entfernt, sodaß man von etwaigen Hochzeiten nicht gestört war. Auch das Frühstück wird dort eingenommen. Es ist, wie schon andere Bewertungen sagen, eine Hochzeitslokation. Bei unserem Aufenthalt gab es an 2 Abenden eine Hochzeit. Wir fanden nicht, dass wir vom Personal an diesen Abend vernachlässigt worden wären. Einzig die laute Musik, der man im Bar- und Rezeptionsbereich ausgesetzt war, war etwas störend. Eine kleine Beanstandung am Rand: unsere Dusche war extrem undicht...

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit , Das Bett hat geknarzt und es war ein bisschen zu kurz . Am Pool gab es keine Handtücher und keine Auflagen .das fand ich ziemlich schade .

Jason (10/5): A beautiful hotel, with lovely and warm staff, in a peaceful environment. - The hotel is stunning, the grounds are immaculate, and the views from the rooms are really incredible. It was an incredibly relaxing place to stay, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful, they were really lovely to us and the kids. Can't recomment enough. It certainly wasn't a major issue, as the grounds are sufficient to ramble around. But heading to the nearby shops require crossing quite a busy road. I don't think its major, but worth noting.

Yves (10/5): Straordinario !!! - Wat een pareltje !!! Prachtig hotel met een erg mooie tuin, een oase van rust... Bijzonder hartelijk en erg behulpzaam team van geëngageerde medewerkers in alle geledingen. Wij kregen 2 knappe kamers in de "dependance", elk met een zeer groot terras... Shuttle-dienst naar station Ercolano zodat je zonder poespas met de trein in Napels geraakt op een kwartiertje tijd. Veel makkelijker dan met een eigen auto. Topontbijt ! Een echte topper, we'll be back !!! Spijtig dat we naar huis moesten na drie nachten...

Per Kenneth (8/5): Fremragende sted. dog lidt dyre taxaregninger, når man vil ind til Napoli centrum, lej en bil. - Morgenmaden er rigtig god og personalet yder en fantastisk service. Værelset bliver gjort rent hver dag og med nye håndklæder m.v. Man kunne overveje, at stille nogen behagelige siddepladser op rundt om i den lækre park. Der er en del støj fra havemaskinerne dagen igennem. I den uge jeg var der denne gang (i september), blev der afholdt en del bryllups- arrangementer, hvoraf der var en del støj, men ok, jeg var blevet advaret da jeg bookede opholdet.
Jodi (9/5): Beautiful hotel and setting - The hotel was beautiful in a fantastic setting. We had a fantastic view of Vesuvius from our room. The terrace is lovely for drinks and the pool was fab. The staff were fantastic - especially Giuseppe (think that was his name sorry) on reception who was lovely and went above and beyond to help us with looking into train strikes etc that could have effected our onward travels (luckily they didn’t). We had a great stay. Whilst the location is beautiful and ideal for a nice relaxing stay, it’s best enjoyed with a car. Without a car it can be a bit limiting as although the hotel offers a free shuttle service to the local station which is then only 10-15 mins train into Naples, these shuttle services stop at 6pm so limit evenings out in Naples. Taxis are also expensive.

Simon (9/5): We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay would thoroughly recommend. - Breakfast was good. The location for airport ,train station and sightseeing was excellent. The on site restaurant is fine dining which was called Line and is very good with great staff. The menu was good but as we were staying 2 nights we asked about other restaurants nearby. There are not really any in walking distance but there is a very good pizzeria which the hotel can book for you and they collect you and drop back off. Food there was good and really reasonably priced. There is a lovely pool and area with sun loungers with a pool bar as well. The hotel has weddings every day which the hotel remind you about via email prior to booking but they weren’t an issue for us during our stay and it was nice to see it happening in the beautiful grounds. They do finish at midnight and all guests have to leave so all very civilised.

David (10/5): Ottimo punti per visitare gli scavi a pochi minuti in macchina da Napoli, tranquillità totale - La camera è molto spaziosa e confortevole, il letto ottimo con le lenzuola profumate. Bellissimo il parco dove poter passeggiare in tranquillità. La colazione è di buona qualità con dolci tipici napoletani. Tutto perfetto l’unico consiglio è di aggiungere più attaccapanni in bagno. Poi le luci vicine al letto, nella mia stanza erano collegate ad una luce centrale per cui non permettevano una luce solo da una parte sola del letto.

The Front Desk staff of Gaetano and Giuseppe provided us with great local recommendations and assisted us with taxi service. The room was very comfortable and breakfast was greeted with a smile from Staff. You will enjoy staying here! It was perfect - we enjoyed our stay

Aidan (10/5): Excellent beautiful resort - Beautiful hotel, although busy when weddings were on. pool facilities wonderful but could do with being heated. we were there out of season so hotel was quiet during the week location whilst excellent for sightseeing and accessing naples (hotel even provide a return shuttle service to local metro), there were few restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Area is very built up outside the resort grounds so driving around the locality was challenging

Julyet (8/5): Ein sehr schönes und modernisiertes Hotel mit ausgesprochen freundlichem Personal. - Die Ausstattung, die Sauberkeit, das Personal,das Frühstück und die Gartenanlage. Jeden Tag finden Veranstaltungen wie Hochzeitsfeiern in der Unterkunft statt. Dadurch ist der Lärmpegel so hoch, dass sowohl in den Zimmern als auch in den Gemeinschaftsräumen eine erhebliche Störung entsteht.

While there were daily weddings, they didn't generate disturbing noises, at least not in the annex building. The property is very well kept and lovely, while breakfast was amazing.
