• - Russell And Simone (10/5): If you are looking for a traditional home stay in Japan, with the luxuries of home. - The location was great, walking distance to the train stations, lots of food options within walking distance. The 7/11 store is only around the cover and there a few vending machines in the streets close by. There is a huge map on the wall, with all the tourist destinations located and how to get there with different colour trains lines super easy to use! Its traditional Japanese home, with a variety of cooking oils and pantry items to use, which is fantastic bonus for cooking. Overall staying here was comfortable and we enjoyed projector - lots of DVDs to choose from, smart TV so we were able to connect to Australia Netflix - (Our account) the house has 2 showers and 2 toilets. Air conditioning and heating split systems plus additional gas heating, also a washer and dryer once again it had pantry items, EG washing powder for the machine. Plenty of towels to use and multiple pillows on the bed. There is one bedroom with a door downstairs and another bedroom with a door upstairs, the 3rd bedroom you need to walk through to get the 2nd bedroom. If you are looking for our traditional home stay in Japan, but also with the luxuries of home, this is well suited. We met the owner on site, even though we didn't arrive until 10PM, he showed us around, which I thought was a lovely welcome to Japan. A family of 9, thanks for a wonderful stay in your home, we will be back!

• Megan (10/5): Great location, comfortable and welcoming vibe that will immediately immerse you into Osaka! - Perfect location for exploring all of the sites in North Osaka. Very close to convenient stores and short walk to metro. It felt like staying at a friend's house. Place full of traditional Japanese curios and helpful information and within a residential area while also very close to great ramen and coffee shops. There are 2xsets of stairs, place over three levels, 2xtoilets and 2xshowers, comfortable beds, large central dining area (sit on the floor with back support) and very functional kitchen, perfect for a group of 5-6 people. If you want a real Japanese experience, this is the place to stay. We loved it! Best place we stayed in Japan for our family of 5. Nothing. Like a home away from home, Japanese style.

In der Küche war wirklich alles da, von Herdplatte, Ofen, Mikrowelle, Reiskocher, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Gewürze, Küchentücher bis Schere. Es gab Fernseher, Bluerays und Beamer mit Leinwand, leider keine Zeit zum Benutzen. Origamipapier mit Faltanleitungen, Siedler von Catan als Brettspiel auf Japanisch, wirklich mit Liebe eingerichtet. Alles war wirklich wundervoll.

All appliances had detailed instructions making them easy to use. It was immaculately clean. The living room had informative and interesting maps, pictures art work to look at and games plus a TV and a projector. it is close to restaurants and shopping street. My family of 4 really enjoyed staying there!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Loved the design in the dining room - very traditional. Location was great too with lots of good eateries near by. Beds slightly firmer than we are used to.

• Allison (10/5): An absolute gem. We hope to return someday. - It was beautiful and comfortable. The two levels meant we could spread out, which was nice. The beds were comfy, the yukatas were so soft, the welcome gifts were so thoughtful. We loved learning about the family history and staying in such a wonderful place. The location is very convenient to walking to the train station, and we rented bikes to travel to all the tourist spots of Kanazawa. It was a lovely couple of days. The street it’s on is a tad noisy, so if you are sensitive to street noise, bring ear plugs for sleeping in the front bedroom.

• Amber (10/5): Beautiful and spacious house - perfect for our family trip! - This house was amazing!! Had everything you could possibly need on a family vacation. There is plenty of space for guests to get cozy and spread out. There are two showers- one is a fancy, techy shower, and the other is a standard shower/tub room. The full kitchen also had a rice cooker, water filter, coffee maker, toaster oven, and microwave. The beds were very comfortable, and the room temperatures were easy to regulate. The decor is also amazing. It gave the house a lot of warmth and personality. Our host was also amazing. He met us at the house to check in and explained all the features and rules for us. He was incredibly kind and helpful! There were activities for the family and kids in the dining room area also. Overall, an absolutely fantastic stay. 10/10! Thank you! The house is three floors in total; 1st is one bedroom and bathing/washing facilities - 2nd is the dining and kitchen area - 3rd is two more bedrooms. This is not necessarily a bad thing- just something for folks to consider when booking for people with mobility issues and the like. We had no complaints about this house or our stay.

It was seemingly small, however there was all the amenities and and resources we needed for a comfortable stay on the last leg of our Japan trip. Having multiple bathrooms and bedrooms made it easy for us to all divide into our own spaces, and yet we were still able to come together in the family room near the kitchen. So many fun activities like crayons, a xylophone, and even a collection of movies! Initially very cold on entry but once we had all the heaters going, we had no issues at all.

Good location nearby a JR train station with a short walk, also nearby to a large shopping street of food and activities. Owner had many good recommendations for food and activities around the city. Bath was wonderful, great way to relax and end the day. The shower didn’t provide hot water unless using the hot water panel by the bathtub, the next room over.
