- marina (10/5): Minha casa fora de casa - Amei o lugar , aconchegante, limpo, quentinho, tudo perfeito..
Era Muitooooo confortável chegar, foi nosso lar nesses dias❤️🙏 gratidão Não tenho nada a reclamar
- Joseph (8/5): -
- Maisie (5/5): Would be nice to control the heating from the room - Location Heater in the room tripped the electrics multiple times was told I would get a new one but instead they wacked up the underfloor heating and went away on holiday so I was uncomfortably hot all weekend with the only windows being in the door so I couldn’t leave them open over night
- Vicky (9/5): - Very clean and spacious. 10 minutes from the centre. Steps are steep into the apartment. Wasn't a problem for me and my friend but would struggle with kids
- christophe (9/5): - La situation de l'appartement et le cadre
Propreté
Accès aux sites facile
- Mustafa Talha (3/5): - It's damp inside and there are insects. There are no mosquito nets on the door.
- Jane (8/5): Very good - Great location with a 10 minute walk into the centre of Bath. Studio is clean and has a very comfortable bed. There is only a microwave to heat up food which limits meal choices when you dont want to eat out. The use of an electric frypan or Airfryer would have been helpful.
- Susan (10/5): Great place to stay. Love the location, the quiet street. The apartment was cozy and clean I highly recommend this p -
- Wesley (10/5): - The owner was always quick to respond to any questions/requests we had. The apt was clean and everything was in good working order. The Bath Center was a comfortable walk as well as the train and bus station
- Bernard (10/5): - A lovely studio apartment in a quiet neighborhood near frequent bus service.
- Claire (9/5): Superb -
- Jackie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Drishti (9/5): Superb - Good location . Very clean and exactly like the description.
- Siew (7/5): Good - Location is superb Basement unit so I have hard time with luggages. Don’t have cooking stove, only microwave. No washer too
- Andrew (9/5): Great for a weekend trip. - A lovely little place to stay, just ten minutes from the centre. Quiet, clean, and well-provisioned. Nothing.
- Carol (9/5): Comfortable relaxing making it feel like a home from home. Great location and easy to walk to town centre - Clean modern and high quality of facilities. Everything in place so that no need to provide anything apart from food Lack of fresh air or the ability to have a window open
- Lorinda (10/5): Great, cozy apartment. - It is a great cozy apartment, within walking distance to all the major points in Bath.
The apartment was clean, and comfortable for our stay. We had everything we needed.
We were allowed to check inn very early, which we appreciated.
I would suggest this apartment. Just note that the apartment is a small basement apartment. The stairs are narrow.
But none of this was not a problem for us. There is no laptop safe, as mentioned in the description, but it was not a major problem.
- Helen (3/5): A huge disappointment at this price point - It’s well situated for visiting Bath and reasonably well equipped. I appreciated the space heater, books, and coffee and tea provisions. The photos are misleading; they don’t show the actual entrance but instead the house above. I am attaching a photo of the actual entrance and access. The property is in a basement (which is mentioned in the listing but not prominently enough in my opinion), only accessible via a steep flight of poorly maintained stairs and with barely any natural light. The worn lock doesn’t feel secure and it’s not possible to double-lock the door.
Inside, the apartment is cheaply furnished, cramped and mostly soulless. The WiFi was patchy and didn’t work in the kitchen area, so I had to spend two days working on the sofa. The TV had few working channels. You can hear everything the people in the house above do, and presumably vice versa!
Be careful with parking - the recommended road nearby is “residents only” during the day and it cost me nearly £100 to park my car for 60 hours nearby. Admittedly this is not the owners’ fault, as parking in Bath is a nightmare all round, but there is no good solution if you’re bringing a car.
To top things off, the property wasn’t clean enough; I found dirty cutlery, a used wet wipe in a bathroom bin, and smears of what looked like blood on the bedspread. I was very disappointed with this place and I wouldn’t recommend it.
- Dave (4/5): Disappointing -
- Daniel (10/5): Beautiful place for a short stay. - Well designed, very tasteful lovely little flat.
- Maggie (10/5): A little gem in Bath - Everything. I would highly recommend this studio for a single traveller or a couple. The bed was very comfortable, and the surroundings were delightful to be in. Close to Bath train station (10 mins walk). 10 mins walk across the bridge to the the Abbey and centre of Bath. If I ever go back to bath I would love to stay again. Thanks so much for the condiments etc. 😁
- Rebecca (4/5): Disappointing -
- Syed (9/5): Superb - The location, and also such a lovely neat and tidy compact space
- Maria (1/5): I cancelled immediately - I did not stay there. the room is a semi-basement. The address was not given, so difficult to find.
I immediately cancelled and booked another room.
Unfortunately the whole stay was paid. Is there a way of getting that money back? I did not stay there. the room is a semi-basement. The address was not given, so difficult to find.

The description did not reflect the situation.
- Melanie (8/5): Great location, very peaceful - Very glad that the host could tell us where to park all day and night for free, a ten minute walk from the property.
Also very helpful in that we could leave our luggage at the apartment in the morning on the day of our arrival, before the designated arrival time.
Good location - just a ten minute walk to the centre of Bath
- David (10/5): Amazing - We loved everything about the design studio just perfect. Will be booking again for a longer stay
- Gbadamosi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nair (9/5): Superb -
- Benjamin (10/5): Small but perfectly formed - Small but perfectly formed! Lovely little studio with great amenities packed in. Perfect for getting in and out of the centre of Bath. Would definitely recommend.
- Sarah (9/5): Lovely little stay, great use of space. Would definitely return and will recommend to our friends - We thought it was fantastic, super cute and great location. Better than a hotel as it’s your own little cute den. Could definitely do with some more pillows or firmer pillows, I think an oven would top off the property amazingly and there wasn’t very many working tv channels so we resulted in using our iPad for watching tv.
- J (10/5): Birthday getaway - Fab little studio, perfect location in a quiet street but only a short walk to the train station and city centre.
- Nigel (9/5): Superb -
- Tracy (8/5): Very good - Location Close to city center Apartment clean First Impressions outside entrance to apartment could be cleaned up and made more welcoming
Steps down to apartment a bit procarious.
- Margaret (9/5): Superb -
- Mary (8/5): Very good -
- Emma (8/5): Lovely studio in a great location - Great location, really comfy beds, nice and clean. Only natural light is the front door and could do with an oven as only a microwave. Would definitely stay again.
- Claire (7/5): Good -
- Sophie (8/5): Bath stay - Small, clean and had everything we needed. Even though it was requested the only made one bed up rather then two singles although this was resolved quickly.
- Stuart (8/5): Exceptional apartment in a great location within such a wonderful city. - Location was excellent and the quality of the apartment was exceptional. Had everything we needed for our stay. The only slight issue was the lack of parking (although we managed to get a space through Your Parking a 5 minute walk away). Also, the narrow steps down to the apartment caused a minor issue as we had a toddler with a buggy etc.
- Hsin-jen (7/5): cozy, could please provide cooker for cooking to fit with the definition of self-catering - cozy no cooker
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Sally (8/5): Quiet, comfortable, convenient lodgings in lovely city. - The bed was huge and comfortable. Good location , handy for walking into town . Quiet. Responsive owner. Microwave for meals, good little kitchen. Nothing.

- Margaret (9/5): lovely apartment. - very clean and comfortable the entrance was messy. the steps down were not clean and the little garden needed a tidy up.
- Tracey Kim (10/5): Great little find - Very nice little apartment in great location, very clean light and airy, would highly recommend and would definitely return.
- Ming (9/5): nice visit for a few days - nice and clean a bit small space
- Diane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jorge (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashley (9/5): Superb - The only bad thing was parking.
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional - Nice and cosy, had everything I needed. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice quiet area but only a ten minute walk into Bath centre. Local shops nearby. Excellent place, highly recommend.
- Mingee (5/5): Passable -
- Billany (10/5): Exceptional - Really well equipped. Very comfortable and spacious bed.
Near station and town centre.
Good selection of hot drinks
Liked the easy chair with the light. Good for reading in the day. The half doors were a bit tricky to negotiate with a backpack!
- Ella (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Royston (9/5): Perfect perfect perfect - Great place to stay, very cute clean and beautiful. Easy to locate and had everything we wanted. Would highly recommend.
- Wendy (9/5): Superb -
- Ruiting (2/5): Very poor - Staff is really nice There are two beds and a sofa bed in the picture, but there is only one bed. The description did not mention it is a basement studio…
- Aspt (10/5): Cosy home away from home - I found the studio very cosy and perfect for a stay if you want to be somewhere between the University and the city centre. I really appreciated all the tea and coffee and extra blankets for extra cosiness! Easy check-in/check-out with key safety deposit box. The room smelt a bit off and needed a good airing out but nothing terrible.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Apapailiou (9/5): Superb - Great design, amazing facilities - we had everything we needed!
Super helpful staff.
- Robin (9/5): Superb -
- Leaza (10/5): Absolutely wonderful. - The design , the comfort, the quiet , the location. Could hear the residents walking around and talking at night
- Brad (8/5): Very good - Excellent location in a quiet neighborhood. Approximately 15 min walk into Bath. Has a microwave but no cooktop.
- Anonymous (10/5): very relaxing - very comfortable, very clean and perfectly situated, just a short walk to the cathedral . clean and comfortable
- Pamela (8/5): Great location in a beautiful city. - The location was excellent. No fan in the bathroom.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Our stay at the Design Studio was very good. The place is perfectly situated between Bath town centre and the fantastic canal. We appreciated the quiet street so that we could sleep well.
The studio is beautifully decorated. The original drawings are exquisite! The white linen, tile floor and stylish simplicity makes one feel at ease. I was surprised at how comfortable and firm the fold-out sofa bed was.
Check-in communication was clear and the process is simple. All in all, the place is highly recommendable
- Adam (8/5): Small but perfectly formed - Lovely basement apartment that has everything a couple or individual would need in a pretty location
