Guest Reviews
- Tracy (7/5): Clean and basic - The price was reasonable for a big event weekend in the Eugene/Springfield area (which is not true of most other hotels). The room was simple and clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Dairy Mart convenience store right across the street has sandwiches and other items for a quick lunch or snack. The booking page and my confirmation message claimed this hotel provided free breakfast (and when we stayed here last year, they had breakfast) when we made our reservations--this is NOT true anymore. They do not provide breakfast, although they did provide coffee and tea (with flavored creamers) and juice.
- Zachary (10/5): 10/10 would choose this place again. - Very clean, easy to find and exceptional parking. My own social anxiety 😅
- Jerry (9/5): It was a good night stay - Location Clean

- Burdick (8/5): We had a comfortable, restful stay, but were disappointed with the inadequate internet. - The room was very well outfitted with easy chair, desk , spacious bathroom. The internet connection was very bad. We couldn't use our computer and only could use our phones a limited amount.
- Anna (3/5): Won’t be back. Employees can really ruin your hotel revenue. I was IHG certified and that isn’t hospitality. I don’t car - Clean for the price. You know I’ve seen this survey come across many times and thought I’d ignore it given my experience but since I got yet another, I’ll explain. There is no signs out front stating check in here. So we pulled up to the front to check in just outside the door. (where you usually park to check in at any other hotel) It takes 5 minutes or less to check in. The woman working didn’t even say hello when we walked in. She abruptly and quite honestly, rudely, told us “you can’t park there” like alright hello to you too. My fiance went and moved the car and never came back in. She later explained there’s a disabled person who is out right now and she doesn’t know when they will be back. We were not in a disabled spot. Had said person happened to of come back we would have gladly moved. We both serve adults with intellectual disabilities so believe us when we say we’d never want to further complicate any disabled persons day. She could have said hi welcome here to check in? While we do this is someone maybe able to move the vehicle just incase said disabled person returns? It’s the principal. Hospitality isn’t that hard. Especially when you’re getting paid for it. It really was an unfortunate start to a quick stay.

- Steven (5/5): Took 15 minutes to check i , did not get promised groundfloor and no full breakfast. - Terrible "breakfast"
- Dwinnell (10/5): - Front desk was very friendly and helpful!
- Myna (7/5): -
- Rich (8/5): Looks from outside are deceiving. Not a bad place to stay. - Room was clean and comfortable.
- Kseniia (7/5): - Friendly & helpful staff, good location not far from I-5, big well equipped room Pillow cases had stains all over them
- Crawford (1/5): -
- Ching-yin (6/5): - No The air conditioner in the room was very noisy; it woke me up several times during the night because of the noise. Breakfast was simple and didn't include eggs
- Dan (7/5): - The breakfast area is really small, we ended up leaving after getting some coffee, which was pretty good
- Elaine (7/5): Good stay and decent proximity to UO where I dropped off my child. - Clean, newly renovated A/C was loud- it worked ok aside from the noise.
- Molly (10/5): Great place to stay - The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was incredibly accommodating and considerate. Our TV wasn't working when we got there and they upgraded our room immediately. You can tell they take great care of the facility and care about their guests enjoying their stay. The cost was appropriate and actually beat competitors' prices for what they offer. We will return the next time we're in Eugene.
- Ofer (9/5): - מסודר , נקי , חדרים איכותיים מכונת הקפה בשירותים . אוכל קונטיננטלי בלבד
- Myna (8/5): -
- Penny (10/5): -
- Amanda (8/5): - Staff was friendly, hotel has been remodeling over the past few months. Out of respect for Guests all noise stops at 4:30pm. Our stay was good. Beds: clean, new platform beds were being put into each room. The beds was comfortable. Although, need to be careful when sitting down on the bed because it will slide on yhe laminate floor.
- Ruben (7/5): -
- Miranda (10/5): - This hotel was great! Very clean and maintained, breakfast was small but got the job done. We stayed 3 nights and it was great.
- John (9/5): -
- Kellie (8/5): Parking is a challenge on busy weekends - The hotel is clean and rooms are updated. The breakfast isn’t great - pretty much just a single waffle maker. Sometimes fresh fruit. If you visit during a busy weekend you could be asked to park in a different business’ parking lot because they don’t have enough spots in their parking lot.
- Maggie (6/5): - The staff was friendly. The room is fairly clean. However they said $100 deposits will take 3 business days to get back. The parking lot is tiny and there are not enough parking spaces. Breakfast area has only three small tables and breakfast doesn’t have any hot deli like egg, sausages or patties.
- Terry (10/5): -
- Danielle (10/5): - Loved this place. Very clean, smelled amazing and the staff were pleasant.
- Vicki (8/5): - Only thing I would recommend is to be consistent on replenishing items in the coffee area
- Mary (8/5): - Nice hotel, comfortable bed. Breakfast was ok
- sandy (8/5): - Friendly staff. Appears to be newly renovated. Clean.
- Nicole (8/5): - Very clean rooms. No coffee pot in our room.
- Guest (6/5): - Coffee was good. The breakfast was lacking compared to others.
- Mary (10/5): Nice clean and quiet - Didn't have breakfast
- Terry (10/5): Very clean great staff able to communicate to the staff all of the employees - Centrally located where I need it to be The place looks great after all the renovations to the building inside and out
I will definitely go back there again Maybe the breakfast in the morning might need a little tuning the menu
- Eric (8/5): Good for the money - Location is convinience.
- Sabrina (8/5): - It was great for the price. Staff was friendly and helpful. Not really around anything but it was okay as things were only a short drive away.
- Rebecca (8/5): - Everything was fine
- bernie (10/5): - the management of this hotel is one of the best i’ve seen.
- Connie (10/5): Would stay here again - The hotel staff were excellent and very helpful N/A
- Yamini (10/5): - Such a cozy and quiet place. Although people crib about breakfast. But honestly I love the breakfast menu. It's less time consuming and quick.
Room was super clean and cozy.
Highly recommended.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great option for a quick overnight stay - The staff was super helpful and went out of their way to help us with any concerns we had. The property was clean, didn't smell bad, and was perfect for our needs.
- McClanahan (9/5): One night at the Econo Lodge - Was able to get this last minute deal on the Econo Lodge in Springfield. Was very pleasantly surprised. Very clean and comfortable room. good parking. nice management staff. and. good breakfast made for a good overnight stay. Great deal for the price Inside the lodge everything was great. While the taco stand had pretty good food, you will need to get in your car and drive if y8ou want more of a choice for food.
- Louise (10/5): -
- Rebecca (7/5): We were very happy with the hotel and staff. - The hotel itself was very clean and updated. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The parking lot was extremely small and difficult to navigate. If you have a car it is no big deal, but a larger vehicle would have a very difficult time getting in or out of the parking lot.
- Robert (10/5): - When the TV didn't work they were quick to address the issue and when they couldn't fix it they moved me to another room right away they were really great in addressing the problem and getting me to another room right away
- Teresa (10/5): Nice room, great price! - This is a great hotel for the price! It's clean, comfortable, and quiet. My only complaints are there's no waffle maker as shown in the pic and I only received cleaning service 2 out of the 5 days I was there. I'm sure if I had called and requested, someone would've come. Also, one of the reasons I chose this hotel was because the pic showed a waffle maker for continental breakfast, but I never saw one no matter what time I went down for breakfast. I was not happy about this at all!☹️ Yes, it's that serious to me. Lol
- Verified traveler (6/5): Oops - I was given a room that was already being used. Found two sets of luggage, slippers and an iPad being charged. Nice gifts, I thought. But went back to the front desk for a new room. They apologized and granted a new room.
- Louis (8/5): Was above my expectations - Recently remodeled, good breakfast, good value
- Meenakshisundaram (7/5): Good hotel with few minor issues - The bath shower is friendly to seniors and disabled people. Air conditioning was working well. The corridors have room freshener giving a good feel. Elevator is available. Rooms had refrigerator but no freezer. It would have been better if the sink was outside the bathroom for better accessibility. The room is small compared to other hotels in this range. Breakfast is not continental with limited options.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Phil (8/5): - Had no parking
- Hermann (8/5): - Clean quiet value
- Rose (10/5): - Clean room and bathroom. Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast items were simple. Area in older part of town.
- Elijah (8/5): - Stayed here for a wedding. Room was nice and clean and in a convenient location to everything. Pretty average hotel experience. Breakfast was a joke and I found it weird you couldn’t bring back food to your room yet they had a fridge and microwave. Overall I had a good experience but don’t expect luxury.
- Angela (6/5): Please get some new pillows or wash them! - I was very tired from driving and just wanted to relax and watch tv. I showered and propped up the pillows but knew the smell of dirty old pillows! I could not get comfortable all night.
- Hortencia (10/5): - Nice and neat
- Tomoo (9/5): Superb -
- Darlene (7/5): An Adequate Stay - Comfortable. No freezer in fridge to freeze our blue ice.
- Janet (9/5): Superb - The bed was very comfortable. Quiet and clean Towels were a little thin
- Melissa (10/5): Clean but in old part of town - Hotel is clean but in an older part of Town. Walmart is short drive if you need anything.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Jessica (4/5): - Our actual room at the EconoLodge was clean. The smell in the room was cleaning products covering up, or mixing with a less desirable smell. There were strange rules. Based on the smells in the hallway, people were definitely eating in their rooms (which you should be able to do) but there were posted signs that you may not take breakfast items to your room. Breakfast was very limited, even in comparison to other Choice Hotels. We are having a very difficult time communicating with staff. We have been over charged, and on 2 different accounts. Getting this fixed has been very difficult. There are not enough parking spots for the hotel, so it was not uncommon to not have a place to park, and then you would have to get a special permit to park at the dispensary next door. The allowed parking spots are not in view of the hotel, and walking along from your car back to the hotel did not feel safe.
- Douglas (8/5): - .
- Tom (8/5): Very good - Clean and comfortable.
- Stokes (8/5): Very good -
- Kimberly (8/5): - They are updating the hotel (paint, flooring, etc). Room was clean. Staff was nice and check in/out was quick. Basic continental breakfast. Short drive to the 5th St Market area.
- Maria (10/5): - Is simple and clean.Staff is attentive.
- Matthew (6/5): - Mostly okay. Did not like the area the hotel was in. And, easy to miss on Google maps.
- Pauline (8/5): - Staff and hotel were pleasant
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice enough - Staff was nice, helpful. Breakfast was so so. The shower curtain didn’t reach to the floor and the shower pan wasn’t very tall so every time someone showered the mat was soaked - not very well designed.
- Lynda (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (10/5): Generally good - Services were good Breakfast needed some fruits
- Lizzeth (6/5): - .
- Vincent (10/5): My wife and I had a good stay, no worries about safety, quiet, inside temperature, shower amenities. - Courtesy of all the staff; cleanliness; quiet; overall look outside/inside. Parking was difficult Friday night; parking space a bit too narrow.
- Domminque (10/5): Clean - Love have stay multiple times. Love this place Very very clean
- Angela (10/5): Good room - Clean room for our overnight stay. Would stay there again.
- Denise (8/5): Don’t judge a book by its cover - Staff were friendly and room was sufficient for the one night l was there. The breakfast left a little to be desired. The rule of no food taken back to your room was disappointing. I recently stayed at a different hotel in Springfield and their breakfast was excellent and no rule about food in your room. Otherwise, the room was clean and provided all of the basic necessities. Refrigerator and microwave were both nice.
- Lucinda (9/5): Superb - The bed was super comfy. It was quiet. The breakfast needs a little work. On my trek across the country, I have seen better options.
- Charlie (8/5): All in all it was very nice :) - Bed was comfy, cozy, and clean, shower pressure was amazing and had plenty of hot water. Easy check-in There wasn’t any shampoo. Only conditioner and soap
- Mark (8/5): Really nice -
- Gitzen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (2/5): WONT STAY THERE - We did not stay as we felt the love cation was not safe. It was also TEN blocks away from what you showed as the address
- Tera (10/5): Exceptional -
- Don (8/5): Great stay for a lower price - The room was as comfortable as other places we've stayed that would cost more. The price and location were the primary reasons for staying here. The price was below most other places that were considered. It is on a fairly noisy street where an occasional loud car driving by could be heard. The breakfast was good, but missed out on a couple of items that more expensive places provide, for example, fresh fruit, yogurt, bacon, eggs, etc. It did have cereals, waffles, drinks, etc.
- Cynthia (10/5): Quiet. Relaxing. Fiance had a softball tournament, we got to check in early due to the fact of the - Everything was great! Just your sign stating that you could not take breakfast to our room . We are not children.
- Adrian (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (8/5): Wonderful staff - The staff were excellent. They were friendly and helpful.
I had noise issues every day - the room next to me woke me up with their loud TV at 3:45 am, and the following night their child was making so much noise, running around and screaming that I couldn't get to sleep. Not the fault of the hotel, although perhaps they could soundproof the walls. The third day of my stay, the hotel had workmen repairing the room on the other side of me with drills and more noise. I went to ask when they would be finished, and one of the staff offered to move me to a different room, which I accepted. I appreciated the thoughtful gesture, although after three days of noise issues, and I was leaving the following morning, it was a little too late.
Apart from that, the room was minimal but clean and updated. The continental breakfast was also minimal. The breakfast seating area was unwelcoming and uncomfortable, with no windows and hard, plastic chairs.
- Bryan (8/5): Would stay again! - location not far from UO campus, simple accommodations was all we needed for the marathon. appreciated the reasonable price, simple breakfast, but it met our needs. Looks like this hotel was just remodeled with new carpeting, paint, etc so much better than expected. Maybe add yogurt to the breakfast for more protein options besides hard boiled eggs?
