• Jana (7/5): Fine stay - Close to the Camino. Clean room. Washing facilities. Room was quite tight and the walls paper thin. You always knew what your neighbor was doing. No personal atmosphere.

However, the bathroom was good and provided everything we needed. Prices in Portomarín felt a bit high overall, although that is not really related to the property itself. In general, it was still a very positive stay and experience.

• Erin (10/5): A comfortable, clean, restful stay on the camino - Although a little bit of a walk out of the center of town, this was a great place to stay on the Camino. Communication with hotel staff was responsive. Xacotrans luggage service worked here. I appreciated how the receptionist escorted me to the building where I was staying and made sure I knew how to use the mini split heater. Other guests aren't as mindful of how loud the doors are and are so eager to get up and start walking the Camino they let their door slam behind them before 7. That is not the fault of the hotel. I had earplugs in and smiled knowing how excited everyone was but if you plan on sleeping in and staying until the late check out time, don't bother. You'll be up when everyone else.

• Juan Manuel (4/5): Hay que ser un poquito más humilde. - Nuestra estancia en la Pensión Portomiño tuvo puntos muy positivos en lo que respecta a las instalaciones, el descanso y la limpieza, cumpliendo perfectamente con lo necesario tras una dura etapa del Camino. Sin embargo, consideramos que el servicio de atención al cliente tiene un margen de mejora importante en cuanto a la empatía y hospitalidad hacia el peregrino. Al llegar antes de la hora estipulada para el check-in, la persona de recepción no nos ofreció la opción de dejar nuestras mochilas en el establecimiento para poder comer o descansar más ligeros mientras esperábamos. Creemos que un pequeño gesto de sensibilidad hacia el esfuerzo físico que conlleva el Camino marcaría una gran diferencia en la experiencia del huésped.

Muy recomendable para terminar-empezar la etapa del Camino De Santiago .

Just FYI - It had a cafe in the lobby We went to purchase a coffee in the lobby and the staff told us breakfast was included. She checked our room number in the computer and confirmed breakfast was included. We went to breakfast room and the manager told us No. It was inconvenient as now there was a long line to purchase a coffee in lobby. Thanks for wasting our time and for your rudeness

• Dexter (9/5): - The staff were very welcoming, room very clear, walk distance to downtown. The building has its own laundry area. Room was very small. No elevator.

• CONCEPCIÓN (8/5): - La habitación en la que me alojé debía estar cerca de la caldera y cada vez que saltaba hacía mucho ruido y me costó dormir. Pagas un dinero por una habitación, que no fue poco, vienes cansada de hacer una etapa de camino de Santiago y no puedes descansar... Deberían buscar una solución.
