Familierommer var dessverre noe mindre enn vi hadde forventet, men det gikk fint. Noe dårlig luftsirkulasjon da det ikke var aircondition, så varmt om natten. Anbefaler alle som skal til Lillesand og bo iallfall en natt på hotellet.

- Julie (10/5): - This hotel is in a historical building, in a lovely little coastal town. The hotel is beautifully decorated. Our room was small, but well appointed. I couldn’t help but admire the little window. Sadly this room(215), did not have a view of the harbour, although the hotel is located right on the harbour. The hotel is wonderful, however it’s the owners and staff that truly make it a special place. We met some of the kindest, and friendliest people at Hotel Norge Lillesand. I highly recommend a stay here. It’s delightful. The town is very small and walkable, with several points of interest.

- ctyadmcc (10/5): Great experience - We brought a boat into Lillesand with a very short walk from the docks to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We took the stairs to our top floor rooms. The bathroom was a little small, but this is not a new, modern hotel. The Norge is a very well kept boutique hotel. The room was cozy and the bed was comfortable. No problems whatsoever. Restaurants just a block away. Fanstastic breakfast is provided. Just a great experience overall.

Koselig med frokost servering på fat men kunne kanskje tenkt meg buffet og litt mer fleksibilitet. Det eneste som ikke var så bra var rommet og badet som var noe av det minste jeg har sett. Med to mennesker på rommet måtte en ut for å tenke. Kjempe gode senger. God middag. Lillesand er en sjarmerende by så selv i grå vær og begynnelsen på høst var den vært ett besøk.

- Sigmund (10/5): - Andre gang jeg bor på dette hotellet, og jeg ble like fornøyd som forrige gang. Hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening, fantastisk frokost! Gleder meg allerede til neste gang!
- Rune (6/5): Koselig, men litt for små rom. - Pluss for hyggelig betjening (spesielt frokosten), men rommene ble rett og slett FOR små. Tror ikke jeg er så kravstor, men selv hotellrommene på billige hoteller midt i London har mer plass enn dette. Dusjen måtte vi stå sidelengs i, for den var for smal. Dette pga en veldig spesiell løsning (se bilde) der den smalnet av innover. Frokosten var annerledes enn noe annet jeg har opplevd. Man forsynte ikke seg selv, men ble servert et fat med diverse brød og pålegg. I og for seg veldig hyggelig, men det kan umulig være spesielt bærekraftig med all mat som nødvendigvis må kastes pga denne løsningen. Putene passet ikke meg og det var ingen alternativer, slik som det er ganske vanlig å ha. De kunne også godt ha spandert på leselys på begge sengene og ikke bare den ene...

- Verified traveler (8/5): My stay - I booked one night extra and it should be the same price as my hotels.com price. That means no extra free nights for collecting. But ok i had the same room and i choose to do that. Now i check my bankaccount and i even paid around 8 euros more. Not so nice... Also they are vacuuming while there is breakfast, not a good timing. For the rest is the breakfast nice and good,more then you can eat.
- Berit (10/5): Veldig sjarmerende hotell - Utrolig sjarmerende og koselig hotell! Gamle flotte møbler, og siden vi var der i desember var det også julepyntet. Hotellet ligger sentralt til i Lillesand og rett utenfor hotellet er det butikker og restauranter samt gratis parkering frem til kl 10 neste morgen. Ellers kunne vi parkert på hotellets parkeringsplass som også var gratis. Rommet var stort og senga god. Teppe på gulvet men renholdet var bra. Litt hard pute men ellers manglet ingenting. Kaffe, te og kakao som vi kunne forsyne oss med. Et ekstra pluss er det når det står gode såper/shampo/ balsamprodukter på badet. Servicen på hotellet var også veldig god! Veldig god frokost, som ble servert ved bordet. Fat med alt det vi ønsket av pålegg, lunket brød, egg, yoghurt mm. Hotellet er en liten opplevelse i seg selv, og vi kommer gjerne tilbake😊

- Kari1957 (8/5): Lovely and traditional hotel in the heart of Lillesand - We had a lovely welcome from The receptionist. The hotel was almost sold out when we booked, and all they had left was a room in the attic with no lift! That meant three floors up on a windy staircase! I suppose the building is listed - hence no elevator. The room was extremely small and the bathroom even smaller, but it was oh so cute! The bed was really comfy. Breakfast was staggered and a bit slow, but the service was great and the food was good - served on afternoon tea trays! The hotel in general seems to be understaffed, probably due to Covid and lack of much- needed foreign staff., considering they are fully booked. Hopefully this will soon be back to normal.

- rullestadjohn (10/5): Great - Familyrun hotel, 25 rooms, ventrally situated on the main harbour square. Nice rooms. Inside Reception, great public rooms including a Library (Nobel Prize winner Knut Hamsun was a frequent visitor at the hotel) very warm welcome at arrival and continued throughout our stay from a very friendly staff. We certainly will be back. The hotel has its’ own restaurant, Nino’s, two minutes walk from the hotel and situated on the waterfront.
- AnniS550 (10/5): Awsome family dinner - 4,5 star would have been the correct rating, but for this small town gem a few minor discrepancies are fast forgotten. The hotel is charming, the interior shows you the very best of the past and makes you feel at home. We had arranged, with excellent and expedient help from the hotel management, for a private dinner at a time when the kitchen is usually not open. We were not disappointed - great, helpful and kind service, excellent food and a beautiful surrounding to make this the perfect evening.. That we were not offered to taste the wines before they were poured or asked how we wanted our steaks are, as earlier said - minor - but might explain the 4,5 on the way to 5 stars... We will definitely be back!!

- 99beenthere99 (8/5): Nice, classical and service minded hotel - We stayed in a family room with our two kids age 6. Spacious rooms. They shared a common entrance with bathroom. Although we originally booked the annex family room, we got the top floor room, but the heat was tolerable and the noise from an in-house concert in the back yard one of the nights was probably less of a problem there. However, this misunderstanding would be the only real thing to put the finger on. Very pleasant staff, clean rooms. Although modern facilities, the hotel is kept in the style approx. 100 years back in time.

It is nice when you travel for business and have little time to visit to still get the impression that you are travelling and not staying in a impersonal hotel that would be the same in any country. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is quite nice with good fresh and typical local products. The lobby has a very nice atmosphere, typically local and very cosy. The room was nice and large, with a similar atmosphere. The only small minus point is the entrance to the shower that isn’t very large
- Gourmettrollet (10/5): Fantastic food, service and atmosphere! - A group of Polish and Norwegian colleagues spent two nights at this marvellous hotel for a joint seminar held at this historic hotel. The interior is old fashioned, where you are brought back to Knut Hamsun times. I was so lucky to get his old room, very spacious and special - and clean. The service was splendid from we came to we went - couldn't be better. Hotel location is the best in town. And food served was of highest standard, with a local gourmet touch. Seminar room was spacious and nice, my only advice there is to install better drop downs to avoid sunshine reflections on the wall screen. Lillesand therefore also provided good weather this time. A fantastic hotel!
- Perryguitar (10/5): Relax in style - A gem of a hotel! Old fashioned historical hotel, where amongst others, the great Norwegian author, Knut Hamsun used to come to get inspired. All the rooms are a little different, due to the age of the building, but very charming. The service is friendly and the breakfast is great!
