Guest Reviews
- Deepak (4/5): -
- Shivani (10/5): Beautiful property and best location. - Beautiful property and budget friendly rooms
- Vladimir (9/5): -

- Vishmitha (9/5): -
- Vishmitha (8/5): - Lots of greenery and common place to chill among the orchards The doors were a little rusted and the bathroom didn't have a spray jet
- Yousef (2/5): - The property truly lives up to its name — it’s hidden deep in the mountains with no proper signage, and reaching it requires climbing steep stairs carved into the hillside. There are no lights along the path, and since we arrived at night, it was extremely difficult to carry our heavy luggage up the stairs. The rooms looked nothing like the photos, it felt like we reached a different place, they were much smaller, and the bathrooms were in very poor condition. The food was too expensive. Better to order from Swiggy or Zomato
- Sharma (9/5): Centrally located - Located at a good centralised location in old manali.
Paid parking space available at site.
Ample open space. Nothing
- Akhil (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ranveer (3/5): Poor - Just view only and nothing because the room was very small then normally and in the night scared Vibes because one night I was sitting in the balcony and one lady start shouting and asking help from her room and I run to her room and his boyfriend|husband was didn't able to move, somthing paranormal happened to him, i run to reception for help but no anyone was there, then i run down but no staff was there in the night i just found one guy in kitchen and i explained everything to him but he deny to go up with me then i feel so weird and scary. Room size, Vibe,
- Nabin (9/5): Superb - Location of the hotel. The cupboard was missing in the room, hot water was not available at night, as per room price few amenities were not provided.
- Bn (5/5): Passable - Room was very small. Hot water issues. Location is not cumbersome
- Anonymous (4/5): Disappointing -
- Kuldeep (9/5): Superb -
- Kartick (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (5/5): Highly disappointed - Location is good but only for young travellers or fit people as for reaching the property you have to climb 2 flight of metal stairs. But there are lot of river side cafes around. So that’s a plus. Honest feedback.
As already stated, not a place for you to choose if you are not fit since you need to climb 2 flights of stairs just to reach the ground floor of the hotel. The place is well located but with many riverside cafes just across the road.
However this is not a place which gives a hoot about hygiene and comfort at all for the following reasons:
1) they took a lot of time for letting us check in.
2)We were welcomed with bath towels and pillows which were wet (which on enquiry was because they had just been washed). The rooms are not in great shape but are decent sized.
3) There is a fan in the room which runs only at full speed cause there is no regulator even installed.
4) The washroom tiles and wall are in a deplorable state as shown in the photo.
5) and the wifi on the second floor is non existent, so u can't get any work done if intended
And women are strongly advised to caution while booking this place as the first room we were offered had a toilet seat much smaller than the toilet itself which I think is absurd!!
- Tasneem (5/5): Passable - They didn't give me the room they show in the picture on the app. We had a bad time as we changed two rooms. Only when I insisted that I get a room that I booked was I given a decent room. Yet not what I had selected. The entrance is three flights on metal staircase. There is no parking and the plot where they allow parking charge 500/- per day. The place is a mess. The room service boy is rude and curt. Their food is unnecessarily over charged. The place has 3 floors and no lift so be prepared to climb a lot of large stairs. Shrey Gaurav the owner/Manager took a while but he did get things sorted for us. We lost a day and a half of our vacation because of not having hot water to take a shower. The water there is very cold. So over all I could have had a better experience somewhere else. oh and the beds are infested with insects. I found one in my suitcase when I was packing. That was just crazy. The pool table is a diaster.
- Amal (8/5): Very good -
- Nitin (4/5): Basic stay and amenities... - Nothing special to describe. Very basic amenities, Small room, no cupboard for storage. Dirty toilet. In pics it looks good but in actual not.
To reach the hotel you have to climb so many steps from the parking lot. Not suitable for elders and it was not mentioned in their website.
Good for backpackers.
- Priyanka (1/5): Bad - A very poorly managed hotels.
Don’t go as per pics.
No towel, water and hot water provided.
There was a used undergarment and used ear bud in the washroom.
Walls are damp.
Parking is a big problem. If travelling with a senior citizen then pls avoid.
Parking is full of stones and broken glass/bottles.
Wish I could given them minus.
- Taya (8/5): Very good - The location was exceptional. The host was also good.
- Ludivine (8/5): A cosy room with a view perfectly located in Old Manali - Amazing idea to have rooms with a mezzanine. Excellent for bunch of friends or families. Though there are a few like that in that hotel but they might not be of same exciting as the one featured in the picture (we would have expected this one but got another). Our room, still had a view but no private balcony. Some wlectric plugs were not working. Beware as hot water is not 24/24. Amazing location.
- Tom (8/5): Very good - Great location in Old Manali. The room was cosy and clean, with a nice view of the mountains. The staff, especially Tarun, was extremely helpful. The filtered water wasn't drinkable, meaning I needed to buy water bottles for my entire stay.
- Sanit (10/5): Exceptional - Taraun the host is best Nothing
- Manjunath (6/5): Pleasant - They provide only 1L water & don't refill the next day. No Dental Kit, Moisturizer/lotion, No Shaving Kit, No Breakfast Buffet.
- Swapnil (9/5): Superb - Staff Nothing perticular
- Poonu (6/5): Would prefer only if I'm not been able to find any other property. - Good ambience. Feels connected to the nature with their gardens and lots of roses around. Rooms allocated was not having wifi connectivity. No functional intercom. Although the layout of the property is as shown in the image but the images are heavily edited. It was a guest house earlier, converted/leased to a new hotelier.
Bed mattresses were heavily used, you can literally feel the bottom of the bed while lying on it.
24 hours hot water is a myth. So be prepared to call reception everytime for every single thing.
- Raghvendra (9/5): Superb - I was slightly disappointed after my trip to kasol and did not have a lot of expectations from a hotel at this point. But to my surprise staying at hide-in reignited my love for himachal. The place is beautiful, you walk through a lawn to reach the property, the staff is proactive and helping. The reception will listen to your problems and solve it at a moments notice. Rooms are cozy, and are very economical. The chef is good too. This place offers a very close proximity to market, so you can hop on to a cafe for lunch and be back before your online meeting starts. We were here for our workation and extended for three days straight. Thank you for keeping our faith in Himachal.
- Singhwal (10/5): Exceptional - "Absolutely breathtaking! The mountain views room exceeded my expectations. The scenery was stunning, with majestic peaks and lush greenery. The room was cozy and comfortable, with large windows that framed the views perfectly. I felt like I was in nature's paradise. Highly recommend for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway!" Nothing there to dislike
- Trupti (9/5): Amazing place great service - Location was amazing but the approach road wasn’t easy for elderly people. Breakfast was good, though you can’t get all that is there on their menu. Nothing as such
- Nati (1/5): Don’t go there!!! - Nothing I wouldn’t recommend this place. It was unclean, with visible mold, and the staff were both rude and unhelpful.
- Pritam (9/5): Superb - Great location to enjoy your weekend, friendly staff and always eager to help and also provided early checkin thanks.. There is a scope to upgrade the facilities like tolietries, electric kettles
- Kabyayan (8/5): Very good -
- Singh (8/5): Very good -
- Niveditha (9/5): Superb -
- Cookie (8/5): Very good -
- Khyati (10/5): Feels like home - Everything was fab! Loved the hospitality. Must recommended. :)
- Noopur (9/5): Totally recommend others to visit. - First of all, it felt like home. The staff was amazing, very polite, and helpful. Also, the Hosts (Puppies: Laila and Maar) were amazing, and I might have fallen in love with them. The location of the stay is very convenient, Hidimba Temple, Manu Temple, and even Mall Road are within walking distance. Also, the place is perfect for families or even if you are going with friends. You can enjoy the beautiful Mountain view from the rooms. All in all, gonna revisit this place. Wifi connection is little weak
- Kavi (9/5): Superb -
- Abhishek (10/5): Exceptional - The view from room and old manali river
- Saroj (10/5): Peaceful location and great food - Rooms views are great. Food is great. Peaceful location. Nothing
- Govinda (6/5): Average stay .. - Location was good since it was near old manali cafés … Paid parking , bad in house food , no iron …
- Akbar (9/5): Superb -
- Arushika (9/5): Superb -

- Arfa (8/5): Lovely stay - Hide-in stay location, infrastructure, views, services were really appreciable adding to good experiences in old manali. Hide-in food quality has better scope.
- Sanchita (8/5): It was a great time there. - The view and service is great. The location although it is in the heart of old manali which is a great area, the way to the hotel is little bit inconvenient as it’s a make-do grill staircase and with luggage it’s a bit issue.
- Isha (10/5): I recently stayed at Hide-In in Old Manali, and it was an absolute delight! The hotel exceeded my expectations in every - The room, exceptional service , food, location
- Vimal (10/5): It was amazing adventures stay - I absolutely loved the host, Khyati. She was incredibly sweet and went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly. From the moment we arrived, she took care of all our needs and made sure we had everything we could possibly require. Not only was she attentive, but she also made a genuine effort to ensure we had the best time possible, making our experience truly memorable. There was no bonfire, and the common area was quite limited in terms of amenities.
- Rishabh (1/5): Horrific and paranormal experience - Good ambience and comfortable We were a group of friends and stayed in room 120.
We had paranormal experiences there. The whole vibe was very negative and checked out the next day.
The staff maybe knew about it and they told us to checkout immediately.
- Saurabh (10/5): Exceptional -

The location was perfect, offering breathtaking views of the mountains and easy access to local attractions. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay.
Abhishek was incredibly hospitable and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed.
One of the highlights was bonfire night. It truly added to the overall experience.
Overall, I highly recommend Hide In to anyone visiting Manali. Whether you're here for relaxation or adventure, this hotel is a great choice!

- Vishal (10/5): Beautiful hotel tucked in nature - Loved the stay. The property is tucked away in nature and the vibe is very calm and soothing. We wanted peace and the hotel matched it 100%. There is a small off road travel required to reach it but that exposes you to beautiful surroundings away from the hustle and bustle.
- R (9/5): Superb -
