- Christopher (8/5): - Staff good, room in annexe was nice, but in terms of minor issues - there were odours from the drains in the morning and you need to keep the bathroom door closed to avoid noise from other room flushing. Cute little gym/library, free coffee is a win (would be nice to have an accessible machine in the annexe), excellent location. Would definitely stay again.

Despite being solo in the area, she was able to give the guests premiere service. I highly recommend the hotel. Will definitely stay here again. We stayed 4 nights.
- Jac (10/5): - Lovely to have a proper coffee machine available 'free' 24/7 rather than sachets in the room. So easy travelling by train, and the big AROK sign at the top of the building, visible as soon as exiting the station made it ultra easy to locate. Quirky and stylish, a great stay.

The front desk personnel was very attentive and helpful. This hotel is good for young people who do not mind the lack of an elevator or air conditioning. The building is old, with some steep stairways. I loved the magnifying mirror in the bathroom.

- Richard (8/5): - This hotel is in an ideal location right across from the train station, next door to two boulangeries and next to a walkable street up to the old city. The hotel was super quiet. We really liked it. FYI, we choose this one for the elevator but my 75-year-old parents still had to lug their suitcases up and down several stairs because the floors have stairs even after getting out of the elevator. Most of the staff was nice but two were a bit rude.

- Wendell (10/5): Touring stop in Strasbourg, FR - Nice hotel facing the Main Train Station in Strasbourg. Walked to most of the major sights and friendly restaurants are in abundance. 2nd floor Room was comfortable and quiet. Not a fan of wall-less shower and handheld shower head, but that was my only negative. Large tv was happily unexpected and was able to connect to my Netflix easily. Will stay here again in the future.

- Peter (10/5): - This is a brilliant hotel situated very close to Strasbourg's main train station. Incredibly quiet and a 5 star rating for value for money.. Room was spacious and spotless. Probably the best bed we have ever slept on? Large flat screen TV, great shower. Breakfast buffet was good with an excellent variety of food on offer. Free coffee and tea available all day. Staff were lovely, always helpful and friendly. The room does not have a mini fridge or coffee/tea making facilities but with free beverages on offer in the breakfast area this wasn't missed by us.
- Angela (10/5): Long weekend getaway - Had a wonderful 3 night stay. Room wasn’t ready when we arrived early but they held our bags and off we went. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was nice. Also enjoyed the terrace with some food we brought back one evening. Location was convenient near several parking garages, the train station, and easy walk to the sights we wanted to see downtown. We would stay again when visiting the area.

My room was clean, spacious, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially loved the stylish and welcoming vibe throughout the hotel, including the common areas which were perfect for relaxing or catching up on work. A special shoutout to their commitment to sustainability and their Green Key certification—it’s great to see a hotel that truly walks the talk on being environmentally responsible. Highly recommended!

- Brendon (10/5): Strasbourg Stay - The hotel is a very short walk from the train station, making it very easy to get around as needed. The room we stayed was very comfortable, alas we had a room with a shower/sink in one room and toilet in the other (which was a bit of an adjustment). The bed was very comfortable and there were few noise distractions. There are some stairs involved when it comes to walking down the hallways on the floors, so that can be a caution with suitcases. Otherwise, the overall decor, vibes, and comfort of the hotel was excellent. We were unable to utilize the hotel's restaurant area for a majority of our stay, but we did try to check out the bar area one afternoon, though it was otherwise unattended.
- Mr S (8/5): A pleasant stay despite having a very small room - Very pleasant themed hotel with a good sauna. The room size was not so good. We booked a standard room and got a very small room which meant that we couldn’t move around the room and bathroom at the same time. This room was classified as small by the hotel and should have been described as small by Hotels.com. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay and the breakfasts were good. Free coffee in the lounge was an extra nice touch.

- Hassan (8/5): - For 3 stars it was a nice boutique hotel. My only comment was the room, it was spacious and clean however you can hear water running through the plumbing system anytime any room is using the bathroom. This didn’t matter during the day, but at night it can get annoying.

Because we were travelling by train, our first criteria in finding a hotel was to be close to the train station so we would not need to drag our luggage a great distance. This location was perfect. Th hotel was great, staff was extremely attentive, breakfast was very good. Highly recommended.

- Andrew (8/5): - Overall, good location, nice hotel, rooms are a good size. The all day pantry is a great idea, so tea, coffee and snacks all the time. Its often busy at reception with one person manning the whole area. I had some difficulties before we arrived with regard to some confusion over the booking and the staff were not very helpful in their response. However, it seemed that in the end the issue was resolved by the time we arrived (but without any clear communication to confirm this). I would go back, overall a great stay, just some niggling things really...

- Julian (2/5): Terrible experience - First put me in a room with no shower, a bath tub with an extension shower about four foot long. I am 6 foot 6 inches and 65 years old. Went down and asked for another room. The two young ladies said I was out of luck. After getting the manger involved she changed my room. She was nice. That room the next mourning smelled like sewage backup. The poured something in the shower drain and it only half masked the smell. Could not wait to leave that hotel. I have never given a negative review but this was a total mess of a hotel.
- Tony (8/5): - We had a good stay and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, even though they were very busy (over worked, in my opinion). The lift door was an issue for some, which resulted in it becoming stuck on those floors and then the poor staff had to run up the stairs to get it going again. The only issue we had was the lack of bathroom linens. It is in a great location if you are planning to get on an early train out of town.

- Jose (10/5): The best for the price we paid! - We were in Europe for about a month and we stayed in 8 different hotels in different cities and I could say Arok is the best for the price we paid. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. The room was spacious and clean and has the best location. You can walk to all the tourist attractions and the beautiful central station is right in front if you need train or tram to travel.

The hotel is clean and our room was a nice size and comfortable. (We got the mid size room) Easy walk to Petite France and not too far to walk to the Cathedral. If you don’t want to walk, you can catch a tram at the train station which is right across the street. Also convenient for day trips to Comar, etc. Lovely setting on the plaza. Variety of shops and restaurants nearby.

- Danny (6/5): - Property is well located with friendly staff, looks comfortable on the surface until the 2 bakery’s start baking at 2:30am. Noise and smell continues to atleast 9am in the morning. You would think that fresh pastry’s and bread cooking would be a nice smell. Well this definitely wasn’t. First morning I think one of the beakers burnt a batch of something and the smell would not leave the room. When staying in hotels, I need to sleep with the window open and aircon turned off. In 2 days I got a total of 5hours and 42 mins sleep. The noise outside the window is not only the 2 bakery stores also locals talking out loud and locals recycling their glass bottles at 12am. I’d sent an email before my stay requesting a quote room and this is what I got. Very little sleep making my stay in Strasbourg less enjoyable. If you’re a light sleeper who sleeps with windows open this hotel is not for you. Shower water pressure, well there isn’t any. Hope this reviews helps you make informed decision.
- David (10/5): Great place to stay in Strasbourg! - Hotel Arok is perfectly situated across a park from the train station and you can easily walk or catch an Uber to the main sights of Strasbourg. The staff was fantastic and offered up many recommendations for restaurants nearby or worth the walk. They have a nice little bar onsite for relaxing and enjoying a beverage.

Hotel is well equipped with free tea and coffee, snacks in reception. Lounge is well fitted with table football and library. Rooms modern, with films and music streaming included. Artwork throughout of Ms Arok.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Decent stay - First the positives about this hotel: it is decorated nicely, it’s right opposite the train station and walking distance to all the town attractions, and has 24 hour reception and luggage storage. I arrived earlier than planned and was able to check in early for an extra cost. However, it was a very hot day and the aircon in the room did not work. It was a very uncomfortable night even with the windows open. The wash basin for the bathroom was INSIDE the room. It’s misleading advertising because not a single photo of the hotel shows this type of bathroom with a tiny shower in the corner and having to brush your teeth right in front of the bed. It might be fine for some people but I found it off putting and would have liked to have this information so I could make an informed choice before the booking. The sink was very small and the tap angle meant that there was water splashing on the bedroom floor. A poor design. I stayed for one night so can’t comment on turn up service. The hotel needs to update its photos.

- Jacqueline (8/5): Highly recommended! - Stayed for two nights, fabulous hotel, good location, good WiFi with BBC channel TV so my husband was pleased to watch the rugby! Complimentary drinks and nibbles were such a lovely touch and the breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend!

- Claire (10/5): - Exceptionally friendly staff. Very convenient as directly across from the train station. Short walk to the Christmas market. Lovely breakfast and snacks at night in the lobby. Would definitely stay again.
- Richard (10/5): - Very close to train station which has access to trams and buses. Only 58 rooms so very personal, rooms were very clean. Selection of hot snacks every day in the lobby, coffee machine 24 hours in lobby. Staff were excellent throughout and hotel was situated 10 min walk from tourist sight. Breakfast very good value and in lobby had several games to entertain you, i.e table football and chess. Restaurants are close by but if you are gluten free food is hard to find in Strasbourg. Hotel room was on 5th floor, lift goes to 4th floor so you need to carry luggage up stairs, worth checking with hotel what room number you have.
